From contacting the hotel after booking about cribs and amenities, to the child-friendly setup we found upon check-in, and throughout our stay until check-out, the kids were constantly thrilled. We went to the 18th-floor pool and hot tubs twice during this staycation and had a blast both times. The breakfast quality was also consistently good; while not a huge variety, the items were unique and delicious. Even though there's no dedicated kids' club, the location is fantastic, making it easy to explore the surroundings."

"Traveling solo, staying at this Japanese-style hot spring guesthouse was hands down the best decision I made this holiday! The location is absolutely superb. I wanted to visit Prince Bay and Leifeng Pagoda, and staying here meant they were incredibly close, just a short stroll away. Yet, the guesthouse itself, nestled in Kuoshiban Village, is incredibly peaceful. Donning one of their Hanfu outfits and taking photos in the nearby Changqiaoxi Park yielded some amazing shots – seriously, the Hanfu suited the scenery perfectly! Of course, the indoor decor was also very stylish, full of Japanese charm, and the cat 'manager' at the entrance was just adorable. My room even had a private hot spring; at this temperature, a 40-degree soak was just right. The staff here were so attentive, and the facilities were excellent – they thought of everything I could possibly need. This trip truly allowed me to pamper myself, haha. Highly recommend!"

She was consistently prompt, friendly, attentive, and went well beyond what we would normally expect. We have stayed at many hotels over the years, including luxury properties, but it is rare to encounter service that feels so sincere and genuinely caring. No request seemed too small, and every interaction was handled with remarkable efficiency and warmth. We would also like to commend the entire hotel team. The buggy drivers were always courteous and helpful, making it easy to get around the expansive grounds. A special thank you as well to 王文浩, who kindly helped facilitate a last-minute 快递 arrangement for us, which was greatly appreciated. The hotel itself is a hidden gem. While West Lake is beautiful, many areas around it can become very crowded. Xizi Hotel provided a peaceful sanctuary away from the crowds, allowing us to enjoy the beauty of West Lake in a much more relaxing and comfortable setting. The stunning lakeside scenery, tranquil gardens, and spacious grounds made every day a pleasure.
