"I had a really nice time at the hostel. It is right next to the train station but you don’t hear the trains at night. The staff is super friendly and they have gatherings in the evening and provide toasts with different spreads in the morning. I would have just wished for a little bit more storage in the bed."

"民宿還算乾淨，但此次遇上了浴室排水孔阻塞，洗澡時地板淹水。無提供停車場，最近的免費停車場走路約10分鐘。民宿距離安平古堡老街相當近，喜歡老街氛圍的人，若是徒步或腳踏車觀光的話，倒是不錯的選擇。"

The Local Backpacker Hostel provides a great place for travelers to relax after a busy day. The Local Backpacker Hostel offers a pleasant stay in Tainan for those traveling for business or leisure. With Tainan Station just 2km away and Tainan Airport only 7km away, transportation is very convenient. Guests will find Tainan Garden Night Market, Wusheng Night Market and Tainan Confucius Temple just a short distance from the hotel. When guests have some time on their hands they can make use of the onsite facilities. According to our guests, this hotel provides a very high level of service.

"J’ai passé une nuit dans cet hostel et je tiens d’abord à souligner la gentillesse et l’accueil chaleureux du personnel. L’équipe est vraiment agréable et disponible. En revanche, mon expérience dans le dortoir a été très décevante. La chambre n’a pas de fenêtre, ce qui est déjà assez inconfortable, mais le principal problème vient des arrivées tardives. L’établissement accepte des check-in très tard dans la nuit ; à 23h, un membre du personnel est entré dans le dortoir et a allumé toutes les lumières pour installer un nouvel arrivant, réveillant tout le monde. L’ambiance générale dans le dortoir était également assez irrespectueuse, et l’on sent que l’espace est optimisé au maximum au détriment du confort des voyageurs. Au final, même si le personnel est adorable, la qualité de sommeil est tellement impactée que la nuit a été très difficile. Dommage, car quelques ajustements pourraient vraiment améliorer l’expérience."

"I came here for a Pokemon go event and it was so amazing! The rooms were very cute and quiet. I really enjoyed everything about the hostel including them checking me in and giving me slippers to use while I'm in the hostel. Highly recommended. It wasn't that busy at all but it was just the perfect amount maybe like 50% full"

At Neat Hostel we retains the original features in the building space reflecting the trajectories of different ages. When you enter the hall, you can see the grindstone counter and the tall stone pillars greet you, the terrazzo stairs, The floor and wall still show a beautiful past. It has no gorgeous decoration, no deliberate packaging decoration and artificial landscaping, just to retain the unique Japanese architectural style, visitors can immerse themselves in the classical elegant space and explore the historical footprint. There are traces of repairs everywhere, but there are no conflicts that are deliberately concealed. You can feel the simplicity of it, and there are many objects and atmospheres that can touch your heartstrings in the heart of the mind, and it is worth exploring the stories it contains. Like the old house style, visitors who visit the local people and culture ,welcome to Neat Hostel.

We had a great stay at Kindness Day Hotel. The staff were very kind, and the private underground parking was a plus. We loved the free evening snacks, ice cream, and drink at the bar — a nice touch if you don’t want to stay in your room. Breakfast had plenty of options, and everything was well organized despite the crowds. The relaxed vibe and late check-out made it even better. Highly recommend for a stay in Tainan — would definitely book again!

Chosen this hotel as it was recommended in xiaohongshu. Wasn't disappointed with the quality of the hotel. Only the fact that if would to walk from train station will need around 15 minutes. Other than that price is competitive

The mud hot spring in the hotel room is diluted, perhaps it is a pump flaw / weakness as I was assigned a room at Level 5. It is a pity there is not much mineral mud content compared to neighbouring hotels. Breakfast consists of simple countryside dishes.

The hotel is strategically located near many food spots and landmarks. The room is big and has everything u need. However the ventilation system seems a bit old, there’s a smell when u enters the room and the temperature of the aircon cannot seem to be adjustable.

The front desk was served by young ladies, all were very courteous and helpful. They did make sure that you had a pleasant stay. As for hardware, the room was basic but clean. The room was bigger in size than what we expected. Toiletry supplies are limited.

Stayed in 2 different rooms. The 1st day room was awful on 9th floor. The bed was super hard like spring mattress with no give especially when sleeping sideways. The bathroom was old and dirty bathtub and the carpet was icky. Asked for a room change as I can't stand the room and I'm a pretty tolerant person. Luckily they offered 7th floor room, much better and probably newer with electronic card key, fresher cleaner bathroom and comfier bed. The 2 rooms has the same room size.
