"The staff are super helpful and friendly. But the bathroom and toilet facilities are a bit outdated. The tap over the wash basin keeps dripping water and it's making loud dripping sound that it's disturbing our sleep. Since we only stayed for a couple of nights, so we did not bother to ask for change of room. Also, it really difficult to turn the tap on and off with these old-styled taps. Hopefully some renovation is in line soon when we come back next year to stay there..."

"This hotel is really close to Southern Cross Station and there's really friendly reception. The room is really clean with all the necessities. There's laundry, gym, Cafe and a small library on level 1 (I didn't use them as I am away for the whole day) I choose this place as I am aware I will be travelling with two suitcases by myself so this location is perfect for me. I don't have to go through all the trouble of dragging my luggages on to the tram or using Uber since it's only few minutes walk from the station."

"My experience was very positive overall. The service was friendly, attentive, and efficient, which made me feel welcomed from the start. The facilities were clean, well-maintained and comfortable, creating a pleasant atmosphere. However, I would suggest that bottled water be available in the room for added convenience. I also really enjoyed the food, it was fresh, well-prepared, and flavorful, with good variety. Overall, it was an enjoyable experience."

"• room: nice room a little dusty and in need for maintenance but the kitchen is fully equipped • amenities: there is a gym with few cardio tools and one multi exercise machine which is enough for an average gym workout, they also have a pool which I skipped because overcrowded by kids • location: well placed near the central market and 10 min from the main streets of CBD. There are 2 big shopping malls within 10 min walk and a big supermarket 2 min away. Not too noisy at night and pretty safe area to walk • staff: helpful and kind my background: I travel 320 days a year since 8 years staying in all range of accomodation from hostel to 5star. I just review objectively what I see with no judgement"

"My first time staying in a hostel. A very good experience. The staff were amazing. Especially when checking out. My train was a night train and so I didn't want to take my luggage around with me, they allowed me to keep my luggage in the lockers which were provided until it was time for me to leave. Very friendly and welcoming. My room wasn't the fanciest but it was all I needed. It was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Great for a single traveller who didn't want to share with strangers, very accommodating. Minor complaint about the lift being out of order on my last day. Especially being on level 4 with a heart condition, the stairs were a killer 😬. It couldn't have been helped. But the staff were onto it 🙂. Thank you YHA for a great first experience. I would recommend this place to my friends."

"Good: Great location near china town, trams, and attractions. Very friendly staff that is happy to help you. Easy to get to and from the airport. Breakfast was good with decent variety. "Great hotel with excellent service and value for money. I accidentally left 700 AUD in the room safe after check-out and only realized it at the airport. The staff handled it quickly and professionally, and I got my money back without any hassle. The hotel feels very safe and quiet, the room is spacious and comfortable, and the front desk staff are friendly. The location is perfect — opposite Southern Cross Station, easy for trains and the airport, with a Coles supermarket across the street. The area is very walkable. "Upon arrival late at night, there was no-one at the front desk and the front door wasn't open - I rang the mobile twice to get someone's attention. Overall location is excellent - so close to public transport and popular shops and eateries. Housekeeping was done daily, although my used cup and spoon for coffee was not washed when we came back. Rooms are not that spacious and are quite old - the selling point for this hotel is its convenient location."

This is a very nice resort. The interior is very clean and large. Bed is comfortable and toilet is good with jacuzzi. You will see kangaroos and cockatoos outside the cottage in the morning and evening. My kids enjoy the stay very much. However you need to either cook your own meals or drive out to eat. The drive is about 15 mins.

The management and staff at this hotel are world class. I was staying with a guide dog puppy and met the hotel manager, his wife and their charming labrador Charlie. A truly wonderful hotel.

We booked the hotel from trip.com which was the best decision we made in securing a place in Melbourne. Its easy, convenient and theyre offering an affordable price compared to other booking site. Best Western Hotel, its 5/5. Friendly staff and the location is great. Will surely book again for our next trip to Melbourne.

I had a fantastic stay at Novotel Melbourne Central. The location is perfect as it is located right in the heart of the city with easy access to shops, cafes, and transport. The room was modern, clean, and very comfortable, with great city views. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Only bad is the lifts were a bit slow during peak times. Highly recommend for both business and leisure travelers.

My family and I enjoyed our recent stay at Citadines on Burke Melbourne. The standout positives were: 1. Staff Service: Check-in was excellent. The staff were warm, professional, and very helpful, setting a welcoming tone immediately. 2. Room Size: Plenty of room for luggage and for everyone to move around without feeling cramped. 3. Bathroom Amenities: The provided toiletries were nice quality and appreciated. Items for improvements: The spaciousness makes this hotel ideal for families. However, to make them truly perfect for families like ours, I'd suggest the management consider offering some room options with two queen-size beds to enhance comfort and sleep quality for parents and children sharing the room. Despite this suggestion, we had a very comfortable and pleasant stay thanks to the great service, ample space, and good facilities. We would definitely consider staying again.

The hotel carpet smells, the building is old and needs a total replacement of carpet. When we entered our room. It smells like bleach everywhere. We have to open the window to make it go away. The room is decent size and the toilet and bath are separated where there are no hand basin to use after using the toilet if someone is using the shower or bath tub. The view from our balcony is magnificent, the Melbourne tall buildings skyline. I also love the location because it is near public transport, free tram and shops, even universities. The kitchen are complete with cooking utensils and pans. They got free coffee, tea and milk. The toiletries were given 1 set of tiny bottles but we are 4 people booked in.

Very convenient location as it just 10mins walk to Melbourne central. The rmit university and swanston tram station right in front of the hotel building. Don’t have enough time to enjoy pool and sauna as it opens from 7am-9pm only. The only dissatisfied is I don’t know that the room service is provided. On the 4th night of our stay while we entered the room after one day trip, we realized that the cleaner has actually entered and cleaned our room without asking our permission. Imagine what if our goods have went missing, can the hotel management beared the cost of our loss? Please do not enter the room without inform customer, customer will ask for room cleaning if they really want the service.
