The best hotel I stayed in in China. Pricey, but an extremely memorable experience. 1) Got a free upgrade from a room without a view of the mountain to one with a view. It was incredible and perhaps the best view from a hotel I've seen in my life, complete with a floating bathtub, smart curtains, all the frills. 2) Food is amazing- got dinner ordered in (as your options are limited), abit pricey but very delicious and so too was breakfast. 3) Location is incredible as it is right in front of a viewpoint of the mountain. The hotel also has a beautiful rooftop complete with piano and deck. It even has free tripods for use, on the deck and in the room, which was perfect for me a solo traveler. To share- I took the usual (public?) bus from Shangri-la which was a incredibly scenic four hour ride. This bus isn't the most comfortable. It's cramped and very difficult to communicate if you don't speak Chinese, but I got by with WeChat. This hotel will tell you to get the bus driver to drop you at Wu Nong Ding which is slightly before Fei Lai Si- from there the hotel picks you up and you arrive in the hotel within maybe 5 minutes. The hotel also helped me arrange for a ticket on the bus back to Shangri-la. Thank you for your hospitality!

From the moment we arrived, it was clear this was no ordinary stay—it was an experience touched with thoughtfulness, serenity, and care. We were graciously upgraded to a room that offered an uninterrupted view of the majestic Meili Snow Mountain, allowing us to take in its quiet grandeur from the comfort of our own space. It was a gesture that did more than offer convenience—it created a sense of peace that stayed with us throughout our time there. The service staff were nothing short of extraordinary. With every interaction, they brought warmth, grace, and a genuine desire to make us feel at home. Their quiet attentiveness and heartfelt hospitality added so much depth to the stay, turning each moment into something memorable. This is a place that leaves a mark on your heart. I will miss it dearly and carry the memories with me until I return again. I look forward not only to my next visit, but also with great anticipation to discovering their new estate in 雨棚, which I’m sure will be equally enchanting.

進入民宿要開一段盤旋山路，它矗立在山坡上有種遺世獨立的感覺。客房毗鄰金沙江，清晨推開陽台門，即面山觀江，房間寬敞乾淨，床褥整潔舒適，晚上特別安靜，是個古樸神祕與現代前衞糅雜的藏式民宿，民宿的名稱“札釋永布林卡”意即釋懷心靈、永恆寧靜的藏式園林。強烈建議走滇藏線或者丙察察的，不要再扎堆德欽了，留一晚給奔子欄鎮的札釋永布林卡，你一定不虛此行[強]

奔子欄的這一晚，因為喜林苑納達山居民宿而變得格外完美。 我們是傍晚抵達的，沿着山路往上走，越走越覺得清凈。酒店的院子打理得很漂亮，房間的窗外就是連綿的山景，感覺整個世界都安靜下來了。 老闆人特別好，不僅給我們推薦了當地的美食，還主動提出幫我們把換下的衣服洗掉。這種貼心的服務，真的讓人感覺特別温暖。 這是一家會讓人想再來一次的民宿，下次來奔子欄，一定還住這兒！

Hotel is right on one of the main roads in the town with only about 5mins taxi ride to the North gate of the historic town and about 10 minutes walking to the bus terminal. The room is clean and in a decent size. The staff is helpful and friendly when being approached. Breakfast is served with both local dietaries and limited kind of bread pastries cereals for western visitors. We are served with free fruit plate in the room during the stay as well. Overall it was a good stay considering the price and location.

Didn’t expect this hotel to be so luxurious. The room looks abit small in pictures but in real life the room is HUGE. The service is also very good and we felt welcomed when we arrived after a long journey. The breakfast buffet is great as well. Its so far the best breakfast I had throughout my trip in Shangri-la. There’s steak, rice noodles DIY counter, and other tasty varieties. Worth coming back here again!

We highly recommend staying in Yolo Guesthouse if you are staying overnight at Upper Yubeng Village. The owner and staff of the guesthouse was very friendly, helpful and informative throughout our stay. We connected through WeChat prior to arrival and liaised with the guesthouse for transport from Lower Yubeng to upper Yubeng. The transport was included in the reservation. On arrival in the afternoon, the staff introduced and escorted us to a nearby restaurant for lunch even though it was drizzling. The guesthouse is strategically located to have views of the valley downstream and upstream. The building structure is sturdy and well designed compared to many other accommodations in the villages. The interior of the room and the rooftop coffee bar is beautifully designed and clean. They also have Dyson hairdryer and Smeg electric kettle. Coffee at the rooftop bar was decent but it was accompanied by amazing views of the valley. We were the only ones at the rooftop bar after check in and we also had their in-house hotpot at night which we enjoyed. Prior to departing for our day hike (Glacier lake from Upper Yubeng Village) the next day, the guesthouse even provided hiking poles, crampons, bottled water, Red Bull canned drinks and a homely ham and egg sandwich. We were also allowed to leave our bags stored with them as we had to check out in the late afternoon after returning from the hike. After checkout, the guesthouse also helped to call a vehicle to transport us down to lower Yubeng village. We wished we had stayed here longer throughout our trip to Yubeng. We felt very welcomed and had a memorable stay. Thank you so much!

The service is super nice, they have pick up service from Deqin tunnel to the hotel. Hosts are friendly who ask whether you need help often. The location is sick, you can directly see the snow mountain from the balcony. That would save loads of energy going out and back. Amenities are clean, making us feel comfortable staying. One point to note, their food is so nice, not expecting to have these qualitied meals up the hill.

My room was as described. Functional and nice and warm (with heating on) with an excellent hot shower and nice wooden wall beams. The people who run the place are lovely and also offer nice breakfast options in the morning. The only small note I have is that (despite best efforts and a very modern ventilation system in the bathroom) the bathroom is already moldy. I understand that it's a challenge to get under control given the climate. I would stay again next time, and actually spend more than just one night here. There is so much you can explore here!

上雨崩非常漂亮的民宿，坐在落地窗前就能欣賞雪山和草甸的美景，店家的服務更是熱情周到，因為村裡修路所以徒步進村，花總提前打電話告知，讓我們有了心理準備個避免了不少不必要的麻煩。 老闆的廚藝更是無話可説，讓我們在吃了一週的雲南菜後嚐到了廣東地道的叉燒和葱油雞，讓我家兩寶讚不絕口，離店時更是貼心的準備了三明治給我們徒步返回的路上當乾糧。祝花總生意興隆，財源滾滾哦？
