"Excellent hotel! Right by the Nara Station, and 20 mins walk from Deer Park. The staff are lovely and the room is perfectly comfortable with everything you need. They leave little dessert snacks for you in the fridge which is a nice touch. The onsen was excellent! They have yogurt drinks in the morning and ice creams in the evening to enjoy for free. The free massage chairs were also excellent. Tea, coffee, cafe lattes, and matcha lattes are also available for free throughout the day and night. At night they offer free delicious ramen as a midnight snack! Absolutely great hotel, I would definitely recommend! Loved it here. Great value"

"Harika bir konukevi. Geleneksel bir Japon evinde size bir oda tahsis ediliyor. Tatami bir oda. Bahçenin en güzel manzarasına sahip bir odamız vardı. Sabahleyin geyikler ot yemek için bahçeye geldiler. Yarın için kişi başı 600 yen karşılığında ek bir oda da rezerve edebilirsiniz. Tuvalet ve duş ortak kullanımlı. Ayrıca ortak bir oturma odası ve diğer konuklarla birlikte yemek yiyebileceğiniz, ısınabileceğiniz, yemek pişirebileceğiniz vb. geniş bir mutfak da mevcut. Bu fiyata, tatami hasırları, minimal mobilyaları ve harika konumuyla geleneksel bir evde inanılmaz bir deneyim. Narva'da ana cazibe merkezi elbette geyik parkı. Dört dakikalık yürüme mesafesinde."

"We arrived tired from a long trip around 2pm and no effort was made to let us into the room before the official 3pm check-in time. The hotel celebrates it's 20th birthday and its age shows everywhere. carpets are dirty in the corridors, bathrooms are built to a 2005 standard, at least beds were comfy."

"The ryokan is in a very center position near the entrance of the park. The staff was wonderful and very accommodating. All amenities were provided. We had the tatami room with no view and I gotta say it smelled a little bit weird, but other than that it was a very nice stay. We were able to enjoy the public onsen at the top floor as well."

"Three of us in a triple room. 3 adults. Separate. No couples. Just three friends. But they gave us only two cards to the room. I deliberately asked for the third card, as it was obvious that we will need the third one. Unfortunately they said that only two carfs per room are permitted. 😂 As it was any problem to generate the third one. ** It was pleasant stay, with semi-public onsen experience (opened for the guests from outside the hotel)."

"Conveniently located near Kintetsu-Nara station. The place looks a tad old with some wear-and-tear, and the wooden tiles in my room made a creaking sound whenever being stepped on. Soundproofing was pretty bad – I could hear people walking along the corridor, and voices and sounds coming from neighbours above and below. Staff did not provide clear instructions on how to self-checkout, i.e. where to place the key as there was no indication around the front desk which was unmanned in the early hours of the morning."

"This hotel was an absolutely ideal base for exploring Nara, thanks entirely to its unbeatable location. Situated right on the edge of **Nara Park**, we could literally walk out the door and be amidst the famous, friendly deer within minutes – feeding them was a magical start to each day! The proximity to the park also meant easy walking access to major temples like Todaiji and Kofukuji, saving us so much time and hassle. Another huge plus was being directly adjacent to a charming traditional **shopping street**. It was wonderful to have easy access to local crafts, delicious snacks (try the mochi!), unique souvenirs, and cozy cafes right on our doorstep, especially in the evenings after temple visits. The convenience truly made our trip. While the room was clean and comfortable, fulfilling its purpose well as a place to rest, it was the **location, location, location** that earned this hotel our strong recommendation. If you want to be in the heart of Nara's magic, steps away from deer, temples, and local shopping vibes, this spot is perfect. Highly recommended for location-focused travelers!"

"about a 10-minute walk from Shin-Omiya Station. Right next to it is the Mi Nara Shopping Mall, which has a large hypermarket and several shops selling affordable clothing — including lovely children’s wear. To reach Mi Nara, head to the left side of the hotel, toward the JW Marriott Hotel. Highly recommend:  - Mount Yoshino (steep slopes hiking) lots of persimmon, kiwi trees, pomegranate. Be sure to prepare some food, water in your bag & most importantly hiking stick. We took 4 hours of walking to complete the entire Mount Yoshino (from right with shrines to left with restaurant, fruit trees).  Places to explore near the hotel:  1️⃣ Mi Nara Shopping Mall – Perfect for groceries and daily essentials, with prices more affordable than Aeon Supermarket. 2️⃣ Montbell Village & Bellside Café – A great spot for outdoor gear, and the café serves delicious pasta, pizza, and pastries. - Ask the hotel staff for a printed copy of Bus 28’s schedule to Montbell (the bus stop is right in front of JW Marriott). From Montbell, it’s a short walk to Hard Off / Off House, where you can browse a fun selection of secondhand items — clothes, bags, toys, and household goods. - The breakfast buffet offers a good variety and is worth the price — ¥3,000 per person, payable at the front desk. - The room was clean and comfortable. I recommend renting a humidifier if you experience a dry nose due to the cold air. Also, wearing a mask outdoors helps to stay comfortable in dry or chilly weather. - A free shuttle bus is available — check with the lobby staff for a printed copy of the schedule."

"The hotel is just opposite the kofuku-ji temple, with a beautiful window view of the five story pagoda from our room. Although it is near the attraction, it is quiet at night. Location is 5 mins walk away from station."
