I traveled alone and stayed here for 4 nights from 8/4 to 8/8. **Environment:** The resort is so amazing that I wish I could keep it a secret rather than share it with you. Located in the middle of the sea, with no other structures around, you can easily enjoy the sunrise, sunset, and the starry sky every day. During the daytime, you can participate in various water sports, and if you're lucky, you might spot a sea turtle at night. **Food:** Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are included when you book the hotel, so there’s no need to worry about meals. The resort offers seafood and local cuisine daily. Please note: Visitors should bring their own snacks and drinks before boarding the resort, as it only provides water, coffee, and tea. **Facilities & Service:** All the staff here will treat you kindly, even if there might be a language barrier (English is spoken here!). If you're afraid of swimming, the staff will accompany you while you're in the sea (life jackets are provided in each room). Each room also has a balcony with a lounge chair where you can relax, grab a beer, and do nothing but enjoy the soothing sea breeze. You may not want to stay in the middle of nowhere like I did to escape from modern civilization, but I truly recommend staying at the resort for at least 2 nights. You'll definitely feel completely recharged! Finally, I want to say that the view is so astonishing that I can hardly describe it with my limited English. You must visit this place yourself.

I had a pleasant stay at your resort. The environment was peaceful and relaxing, the room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Overall, it was a very enjoyable experience, and I truly appreciated the warm hospitality.

這次在仙本那入住水屋真的太驚喜了！一打開房門就是一整片蒂芙尼藍的海，海水清澈見底，站在陽台就能看到各種熱帶魚，隨時都能下海浮潛，體驗感滿分。水屋環境非常乾淨舒適，房間設計温馨又有度假感，白天看海、晚上聽海浪聲入睡，整個人徹底放鬆。這裏的私密性很好，遠離市區的喧鬧，非常適合想要放空、度假或蜜月旅行。 工作人員都非常友善、熱情，服務細心周到，不管是接送、用餐還是行程安排都會主動協助，讓人住得很安心。餐食也很不錯，新鮮又好吃，一邊用餐一邊看海，真的很享受。 整體來説，這次仙本那水屋體驗超出預期，風景、服務和氛圍都無可挑剔，絕對值得推薦給來仙本那的朋友，下次一定還會再來！💙🌴

Semporna is an interesting place to visit, with several islands surrounded by coral reefs for snorkeling and diving, more beautiful than many other snorkeling spots worldwide. Staying at this hostel instead of moving to an island resort is a good way to budget. And not only that, the fish market in Semporna is the most incredible one I have seen, seafood like lobsters, large shrimps, crabs so fresh, not even the one at Kota Kinabalu can be compared good as it was too. The DZ hostel lady staff was very helpful and can arrange for island trips at a reasonable price. The dorms are separated into boys and girls, something I truly appreciate. The bathrooms faced the afternoon sun, so they were dried easily and kept clean. Laundry by machine was offered free, a super plus for swimmers. The hostel also offered local Malay snack food for breakfast, and coffee or tea were always available. To be honest, it's a good budget place to stay while splurging on the island tours. It's a bit sad that no cooking is allowed here, even though there was a kitchen. Sad because the seafood mentioned above was so available. The facade of the building is nothing to boast about, and like many places, the external (streets, pavement, eyc) can be a mess. That should not deter visiting this part of the world mainly because the sea in this area is astoundingly replenished with marine life.

Me alojé con mi pareja en el Sand Bay Resort Semporna y la experiencia fue excelente. La habitación era amplia, limpia y cómoda, con vistas espectaculares al mar, especialmente al amanecer. El personal fue muy amable y siempre dispuesto a ayudar, tanto con el transporte como con las actividades. La ubicación es perfecta: tranquila, junto al mar y a pocos minutos del puerto para hacer snorkel o buceo. La comida tipo bufet libre es variada y de buena calidad, ideal después de un día de excursiones. El ambiente general es relajado y acogedor. Perfecto para parejas que buscan un lugar cómodo, limpio y con trato cercano en Semporna.

Semporna çok güzel, plaj peynir gibi, su ise cam gibi. Lotte Water House güzel bir ortama sahip ve deniz meltemi çok rahat. Su evindeki personel çok kibar, özellikle de çok yönlü bir sporcu olan kardeş Ridzmond, su evinde kaldığı üç gece boyunca, Ridzmond'un Shenzhen'den ikinci sınıftaki bir çocuğun iki kez insanları kurtardığına tanık oldu. Pleasant overnight escape at Nusa Kuya Resort with a group of four, and we truly made the most of it! From snorkeling in the clear waters to enjoying the buffet, belting out songs at karaoke, and watching the turtles—it was a full, fun itinerary. Every activity felt worth it, and the friendly, accommodating staff made the experience even better. Definitely a memorable short getaway!

Hotel Review Positive Points: 1. Air-conditioning was very effective and kept the room comfortable throughout the stay. 2. Great window view – beautiful sea and jetty scenery that adds to the relaxing atmosphere. (see my attached picture) 3. Excellent location – conveniently close to eateries and the jetty, making it easy to get around. 4. Reasonably priced in-house food – offers good value for money for guests who prefer to dine in. 5. Complimentary extra bottled water was provided upon request, which was appreciated. 6. Friendly and helpful staff across all departments – from housekeeping, café, and maintenance to the front desk. Everyone was courteous and attentive. 7. Special mention to the chef – a very kind and gentlemanly person. On our first day, we ordered 6 fried eggs for breakfast, assuming they were included. The chef initially didn’t inform us of the RM2 charge per egg and kindly did not charge us for them. When we later tried to order again, he politely informed us about the charge. We truly appreciated his honesty and kind gesture. 8. very nice grilled meat at the roof cafe (5th floor).The promo price is 5 sticks for rm9.9 . worth to eat! --- Areas for Improvement: 1. Limited breakfast buffet selection – mainly local dishes such as chicken, eggs, vegetables, rice, or noodles. While the food was tasty, there were no options like fresh milk, cereal, or egg station. Fruit choices were also limited to just bananas every day. 2. Window leakage during heavy rain – rainwater entered the room. However, the staff responded promptly and mopped the floor immediately. 3. No robe hooks in the bathroom – makes it inconvenient to hang clothes or towels. 4. Shortage of bath towels – clean towels were only available in the late afternoon after laundry was returned. 5. Extra blanket charge – an additional around rm50-60 was required if requesting one more blanket, which felt a bit expensive. 6. Low water pressure in the shower – the water flow was quite weak, making the shower experience less enjoyable. 7. Housekeeping quality needs improvement – there was sand in the room, and although we informed the staff, it was not cleaned properly even after the feedback. Extra Tip for Travellers: There’s no laundry shop in Semporna town, so do remember to bring enough clothes for your stay.
