"The hotel itself is a work of art, with an excellent location within walking distance to all attractions and the train station. The rooms not facing the street are very quiet. Rooms are equipped with a capsule coffee machine and an electric kettle, and the bed is very comfortable. The bathroom includes a shower and a bathtub, bathrobes, and a scale. Guests can enjoy complimentary use of the spa facilities, which feature a swimming pool, bubble bath, and both dry and wet saunas, all in a lovely setting. The gym is well-equipped. It happened to be a family member's birthday, and the hotel thoughtfully prepared a birthday cake in the room in advance."

"The front desk phone is always busy. Requesting water delivery repeatedly resulted in errors. The hotel's soundproofing is terrible. The elevator shakes. The disposable amenities are of mediocre quality; it's not worth the price. It's better to stay in a chain, high-end hotel."

The service was 1st class from all members of staff throughout the hotel. The food was fantastic, i would definitely recommend dining in the restaurant. The bar area and rooftop option is superb with a great atmosphere. The suite we stayed in was top class. No complaints at all, and i will certainly be staying at the Gotham hotel the next time i'm in Manchester"

"From the second we entered we felt welcomed by the staff. It was early morning when we got there. They offered to take out bags while we went walking which was great! A request to check in early was dealt with promptly & allowed. The room was spacious with hot water and clean bathroom. We had access to the gym and swimming pool which we took up. I have nothing to fault in here about the lovely place. I want to speak about a particular member of staff who was infectiously happy, positive and at times overly helpful- Denim is a fantastic member of staff to have and because of her and the dark haired girl who worked with her, made our trip just that bit more pleasant. We will be back a second time."

"Attending an annual conference in the UK, I found the hotel incredibly convenient, being just a two-minute walk to the convention center. I'd say this is the best hotel in Manchester; both the facilities and service were excellent. The breakfast was delicious, and the bar also offered a great atmosphere. It's my top choice for business travel. The only minor downside was that the curtains didn't close tightly enough."

"Advantages: Good location in the city center, convenient food and transportation, 300 meters away from Picadilly train station, the room and bathroom are large enough, there are capsule coffee, bottled water, small water bar, small refrigerator (powered but not very cold), hair dryer, makeup mirror, shower gel, shampoo, hand soap, large soap (larger than other places), and female hygiene products are also prepared, there is no separate conditioner, disposable slippers are in the bathrobe pocket, and the European area brings its own toothbrush and toothpaste. I have a street-facing room, but it is not noisy. Disadvantages: According to our ordinary East Asian standards, the hygiene is not good, and the room has a smell. The supplies after daily cleaning are sometimes replenished and sometimes not. It seems that it all depends on whether the housekeeper remembers it, but if you ask for it, they are very friendly. Overall, it is not a pitfall"

The building is super beautiful too. Would have loved some bottled water in the room and a coffee maker but the hotel was such a great price!"
