My family and I recently had the pleasure of staying at Racha Mankha, and I can’t recommend it enough! This hotel is a hidden gem, offering a secluded and quiet retreat that truly embodies peace and relaxation. The ambiance is simply delightful, making it the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. One of the highlights of my stay was the food. I can confidently say that the Thai cuisine here is some of the best I’ve ever had in Nanjing! Each dish was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. Additionally, I indulged in their Thai massage services, and it was an absolute must-try! The skilled therapists provided a rejuvenating experience that left me feeling refreshed and relaxed. While the area may not have as many tourist attractions as other parts of Nanjing, the tranquility and quality of service at Racha Mankha more than make up for it. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with fantastic food and pampering, this is the place to be!

We had a wonderful stay. The cutely decorated apartment was delightful. Spacious, clean and thoughtfully decorated. The host was always attentive to our needs and extremely helpful. Recommending places to eat as we had just arrived in time for dinner. It was located near the metro/ train stations for us to get around and catch our next HSR to Beijing.

The location of the hotel is great. We were first given a quiet room but the view was at the back and it was awful. The room also smelled of smoke. I called reception and they sent a new room key with the robot. The robots in these hotels are very good and make things easy. The second room was much better. It had a view of the main road and you can watch the traffic and people which I liked. The room felt brighter and more comfortable than the first one. The hotel has night time congee and it is nice to have something warm before sleeping. The breakfast was not bad. The free washing machine facilities are also very useful. You can even check on the TV to see if the washing machine is free so you do not need to go downstairs to check. Overall this was a good stay once we changed rooms. Location is good, staff reacted fast and the facilities are helpful.

I booked Hanyuan because it is within walking distance to my folks home. And my grandma used to work at Nanjing Agricultural University, which the hotel is affiliated with. I read others’ reviews and knew it is an old facility. I did not have unrealistic expectations. We arrived late at night. Taxi driver dropped us off at the side entrance that has numerous stairs to the door. We had lots of luggage. As we got out of the cab, we saw some staff member in the lobby looking out. Instead of coming out to help us, he walked away. My husband, myself and our seven year old all carried/dragged multiple items up the stairs to get into the hotel lobby. We checked in and decided that we would need to add a bed for the kid. House keeping came quickly to set up the bed but was reluctant to provide pillows for the additional bed. I had to repeatedly ask before they agreed to bring an extra pillow. Don’t understand why there is such resistance to equip the additional bed with pillow- after all, we did pay for the additional bed. Everything else was pretty good during our first three-day-stay. We then went away to visit families elsewhere for a week before coming back to this hotel. This time, our car drove onto the ramp at the front entrance. As soon as we entered the building, lobby manager came to offer us help. He helped us deliver luggage to our room. We are very appreciative of his assistance. We ran into some issues at the front desk this time. They asked for our passports again and took our pictures for a second time. When I mentioned that we were just here a week ago and all information was taken already, we were told that all information has been erased as we checked out. When we checked in/out the first time, we informed front desk that we were making the hotel our base camp and will be coming in and out a few times. It’s strange that they would delete our information and redo everything all over again. Again we need to add a bed. House keeping brought a roller bed which has a stained mattress pad. I asked them to bring a clean one, they said they could not. They said they didn’t have any clean pads. They said the only option is to remove the pad and put the sheets directly on the mattress. They further suggested that since the sheet is clean, dirty pad doesn’t matter and that every mattress pad under bed sheets has urine stains. His words made my stomach turn but I was too tired to fight so they went ahead put sheets on top of the mattress pad that has a big yellow stain. Again I asked for pillows for the additional bed, they refused at first, upon my insistence, they agreed to bring pillows. They also took out a blanket from the cabinets under television and put it on the bed. When the seven year old was ready for bed, I opened the blanket and realized it’s cover is dirty. It’s dusty and has multiple stings of hair on it. I called house keeping, a lady quickly bought over a clean duvet cover for the blanket but refused to take away the dirty one. She insisted that we keep the dirty duvet in the closet. I did not understand her rationale but there isn’t anything I can do. So that dirty duvet cover stayed in the closet. Maybe I should not have come back to this hotel.

這次入住 鐘山高爾夫的體驗真的超出預期，必須重點誇一誇前台的服務！ 辦理入住時，前台的袁經理全程面帶微笑，主動熱情地跟我們打招呼，不僅快速幫我們完成了入住手續，還貼心地提醒了酒店的早餐時間、練習場位置，甚至聽説我們是來旅遊的，還加了我的微信耐心推薦了南京的特色美食和小眾打卡點，特別周到。 期間我們臨時有需求，打電話給她諮詢也特別有耐心，認真瞭解我們的問題，很快幫我們解決，完全沒有一點不耐煩。離店的時候，Zora小姐姐還主動幫我們提行李，叮囑我們注意返程安全，細節裏滿滿都是温暖。 這樣貼心又專業的服務，真的讓人感覺特別舒服！下次再來這個城市，一定還選這家酒店，也會推薦給身邊的朋友！

整體非常滿意。先説説看入住，我是提前一天定的，入住當天早上的10點發送了進園車輛需要的二維碼（4號門進園很絲滑。）入住過程中給我升了房，據説是房子的面積會更大一些，而且有浴缸，我最喜歡的是有兩個可以刷牙洗臉的水池，因為我們帶了一個7歲將近8歲，身高1米25的孩子，所以也送了一套小朋友的牙具，拖鞋以及浴袍進房間。整個設施沒得説，我非常喜歡他們這種具有一點主題的設計。我們的套餐是包含早餐的（小朋友1米25，補了60塊錢早餐費用），早餐也是中規中矩，還不錯。選這個酒店主要是因為它的泳池很吸引我，關鍵是游完泳的旁邊就是兩個温泉池。對於我來説不用給孩子游泳換一件衣服，温泉再換一件衣服來説這個至關重要。另外游泳下來的話，這個泳池很適合小朋友來玩，有兩個0.6m的小童水池。連通一個1m4~1m5的漸變泳池。泳池的頂上和泳池的池底設計我都很喜歡，頂上是bling bling的星空，池底的瓷磚實在太好看了，孩子學游泳的過程中，我就一直在泡水，盯着瓷磚看。我這個房間有陽台，陽台上有專門晾衣服的可移動架子，所以非常友好，我把它搬進房間了，因為晚上冬天開了空調，比較乾燥，三個人的泳衣在前一天晚上游泳，第二天早上8點鐘就全部乾透了。房間裏還有咖啡機，附送了兩個膠囊。小冰箱裏的飲品是可以免費使用的。晚上游完泳太累了，就點了一個餐進房間，服務也非常好，海鮮炒飯味道不錯。白天去抱抱樂園玩了一個小時（出示房卡就可以），然後就去了陽山碑材這個景點我還是蠻喜歡的，他的互動做的很多，個人覺得下午1點鐘~2點鐘去的話，活動還是非常多樣的。以後會再來的。

We had a very pleasant stay, and the location truly couldn’t be better. Everything was perfect. The room was cozy, with a very comfortable bed and excellent shower facilities, fully meeting the high standards expected from an IHG hotel. The terrace offers a stunning panoramic view overlooking the entire city and the subway station is just a few steps away, making transportation extremely convenient. Special thanks to 小谢 for her outstanding assistance throughout our stay, as well as to the gentleman who kindly guided us during breakfast in the executive lounge.

The room is spacious with fantastic view of the city, but it is quite rundown. Bathroom door was shaky and rollers not lubricated, so there's a creaky sound when pulled. Floor was a little dirty. Hand soap was not refilled. By the 2nd day of stay, we used up the soap and had to use our own body soap to wash our hands. Breakfast was provided. There were quite a variety but a few of the items were cold. Not sure if the food warmer was turned on. The table linens were dirty. There were stains but the service staff still set up the tables for the next guests. I took a photo of one of the tables. Also one of the food items had wrong English translation. It should be called Roti Prata/Canai or Indian Flatbread, instead of Indian Parapet. Parapet is a part of a wall. Front desk service could be better. Understand that it was busy during check in but at least basic information like check out timing, breakfast venue and operating hours should be informed to the guest. Appreciate concierge help in accepting our online orders before we checked in, though there were a few hiccups. However, concierge attitude could be improved. Got a shock when one of the staff was speaking to me like a friend. He lacked the professionalism and should be more polite when speaking to guests, no matter where they come from. On the day of check out, we called for service to bring down our luggage as we had quite a number of bags and were shorthanded. We waited for about 15 minutes and no one came up! Our driver came early and was already waiting downstairs. Feeling frustrated, we brought down the luggage ourselves slowly. All in all, I felt there is a shortage of staff in this hotel, leading to quite an unpleasant experience. I don't think this is the kind of standard Sofitel has and hope it is only limited to this particular hotel.

Staff: Staff were all friendly and really accommodating. There are also English-speaking staff in case there are tourists who (like myself) cannot speak the local language. Location: The hotel is located quite close to the Qixia Scenic Area (Ancient town -- then West Gate of the Qixia Mountain Scenic Area). It's far from the city center but the environment is still quite good. There is also a grocery store and several small restaurants nearby. There are more restaurants in the Ancient Town too. So it is still convenient while serving as a good retreat to relax and slow down. Accommodation: The hotel is nice, lobby looks amazing. Rooms are clean, also quite nice in design. Requested for a room with good internet connection (and silent area if possible) for work-related reasons and they certainly delivered. The environment is great and the room was located such that it was relatively quiet during the day. Cannot hear noises from the other rooms. Unfortunately, there were some really loud guests in the hallway at night (maybe communicating with friends or family but were shouting as they talk about something before entering their rooms) and the noise would reach the room. Otherwise, cannot hear anything as long as the guests are in their rooms. Breakfast: The room package came with breakfast - there is an option that comes with ticket to the scenic area but I didn't take this one. Breakfast is buffet with several dishes to choose from. Asian and Western options available. Also has several beverage choices - I was quite happy they have coffee on top of tea, juices, etc. Overall, I had a great stay here even if I had to spend most of the time working. Would consider coming back for vacation.

The hotel was very good in most ways, the breakfasts are good & cater for Chinese & Western tastes. The room was a nice size, only complaint was the bed lights, who ever thought of spotlights above your head needs to know they all need separate switches, not 5 on one switch. The hotel was well equipped & the staff were very pleasant & helpfull. I am happy to return to this hotel if I return to Nanjing.
