Good location as it was near many eateries. Excellent service from the staff who went above and beyond the norm for the customers. Unfortunately, we had cpme for the fruits we saw in the pictures and had read about in the review only to find out that there were no fruits at all. The fruits were only provided on the first day of opening. Fortunately, there are a number of fruit stalls within 5-8mins walking distance nearby. We also found our family queen room to be a bit too simple as it lacked a sofa. Kudos to the team for bringing up another few chairs so we could have a place to sit. You can also borrow a wheelchair if you need one, and you can bring it out of the hotel as well. The beds were a bit on the medium /less firm side. I would have preferred a firmer bed but I understand this is probably to cater to the more international crowd. Breakfast was also a bit too simple, both in variety and taste. But the hot soy milk was good. We didn't eat much as well. Fortunately there were many eateries nearby so it was not a big issue. Just a suggestion, this place would have been perfect for many travellers if they offered 4 single beds instead of 2 big beds. I look forward to coming back to stay again if can consider offering 4 single beds instead of 2 big beds.

Nice stay. Our first room was on the 1st floor and had no window and thus smell from cleaning products. But after talking to the staff they moved us to a different room which was good. Nice amenities e.g. wet toilet paper which is not common normally. Very good hairdryer and bathing coat. Service very friendly. Also very good location. Can recommend

這次入住 鐘山高爾夫的體驗真的超出預期，必須重點誇一誇前台的服務！ 辦理入住時，前台的袁經理全程面帶微笑，主動熱情地跟我們打招呼，不僅快速幫我們完成了入住手續，還貼心地提醒了酒店的早餐時間、練習場位置，甚至聽説我們是來旅遊的，還加了我的微信耐心推薦了南京的特色美食和小眾打卡點，特別周到。 期間我們臨時有需求，打電話給她諮詢也特別有耐心，認真瞭解我們的問題，很快幫我們解決，完全沒有一點不耐煩。離店的時候，Zora小姐姐還主動幫我們提行李，叮囑我們注意返程安全，細節裏滿滿都是温暖。 這樣貼心又專業的服務，真的讓人感覺特別舒服！下次再來這個城市，一定還選這家酒店，也會推薦給身邊的朋友！

This is the first time I've had an absolutely 10/10 experience with any hotel. This particular hotel also outranks every other Marriott I've ever stayed at. I genuinely could not think of a single negative point. I was only in Nanjing for 2 nights, in town for a meeting, and I'm so glad I chose to stay here. Firstly, the room is exactly as advertised. Marriott hotels always have the fluffiest pillows, but this particular hotel had the most HEAVENLY pillows. The bed was so comfy that I ended up postponing my day plans just so I could sleep in! I didn't realise how desperately I needed that rest and recuperation, and am glad I chose to stay here and get what I needed. Also, this hotel does not skimp on the water - most hotels will only give you 2 tiny bottles a day, which if it's blazing hot outside, can be frustrating, especially if you want to boil water for tea/coffee in the morning. This hotel provides 4-5 complimentary bottles of water per day. In many ways, I felt like they anticipated what I'd need and would provide it before I even had the chance to ask. There is also an ironing board stowed in the room, which for me was a lifesaver as I had an important meeting. As other reviewers have mentioned, the location is indeed fantastic. I was so relieved to find that after a long train journey, I only needed to hop on the subway for 1 stop - I didn't even need to exit the building, as the hotel is located inside the mall connected to the subway station. The breakfast spread is not too bad either, with the highlight for me being the espresso machines. When I tell you this machine delivers the most divine coffee in 10 seconds, I am not kidding. It was one of my favourite things and a great way to kickstart a busy day. At check-in, the reception staff ensured they gave me all the info I needed. I noticed this is often skipped at other hotels as staff are shy or reluctant to speak in English, which results in foreign guests missing out on relevant info or complimentary perks - but the Marriott team refused to let language be an obstacle. I was glad to learn free snacks and coffee were available in the executive lounge each evening. While I was there, the executive lounge manager - I think her name is Sheila, apologies if I've gotten this wrong - took the time to introduce herself and ask if I needed anything. She was so polite and genuinely seemed to want to improve the experience for guests. To me, these small touches are what set a service-oriented luxury hotel apart from others. On my first night, I'd arrived pretty exhausted after having sat on a delayed train for hours, and I wanted to order takeaway as I didn't have the energy to go out. They have ******* lockers positioned right at the hotel entrance, which you can unlock with your phone and collect your deliveries. Being a foreigner who doesn't understand Chinese very well, I wasn't sure how to navigate this, but the reception staff went out of their way to help me, ensuring they stayed with me until I'd collected my parcel - it was not at all necessary for them to help me so much, but they did, and I'm very grateful for that :) I spent the entire month traveling in China and so, looking back, am able to compare all of the hotels and experiences from this trip. This particular hotel ranks 10/10 for me not only because of the location, but also because of the kindness and professionalism of staff. Things can sometimes be confusing or overwhelming for foreigners, and this was the only hotel where staff didn't hesitate to rush in and offer to help, no matter how small the issue. Even the gentleman at the coffee bar in the lobby was so kind and polite - and might I add, everyone at this hotel speaks English, so they really do cater to an international crowd. Housekeeping staff too were very sweet, always greeting you and asking if you needed extra bottles of water. Thank you for a relaxing, delightful stay! I hope to come again and stay longer next time.

Stylish room, clean and not too noisy even if the room is looking right at the runway which was very cool. Location is superb, inside the airport. Don’t need to walk outdoors at all.

My stay at the Ritz Carlton Nanjing was full of twists and turns. Somehow, they hadn’t checked the room for problems before letting guests check in. The air conditioners were off even the housekeeping said the temperature would be dropped after 10 mins, the technician came and said the air cond unit's engine was off. The shower water pressure was unstable, freezing during use, and the gap at the shower door is too wide, causing water to leak out. The TV next to the bathtub couldn’t be used at the beginning, it turned out the remote control was out of battery. Overall, the design style of the room combines modern Chinese and Western vintage elements. You can spend your lazy afternoon with a cup of Yuhua tea in your room. The spa, gym, and pool are located on the 40th floor. The masseurs and staff are professional and friendly. You could enjoy your me-time or work out in a relaxing atmosphere. Special thanks to Zoey and Yuki, very generous and helpful staff. Honestly, my 5-star service goes to the manager, Mr. Gray, at the executive lounge, he provided outstanding service! He is very genuine and sincere. He knew that our return flight was delayed and offered us the opportunity to rest in the lounge until we were ready to leave. Besides, there is one more staff Mr. Jon from the concierge, he recommended us to go to several local places in Nanjing to try the local food, exploring the traditional Nanjing in a different way. Thank you Gray and Jon once again!! Hope to see you 2 in the future!

Staff: Staff were all friendly and really accommodating. There are also English-speaking staff in case there are tourists who (like myself) cannot speak the local language. Location: The hotel is located quite close to the Qixia Scenic Area (Ancient town -- then West Gate of the Qixia Mountain Scenic Area). It's far from the city center but the environment is still quite good. There is also a grocery store and several small restaurants nearby. There are more restaurants in the Ancient Town too. So it is still convenient while serving as a good retreat to relax and slow down. Accommodation: The hotel is nice, lobby looks amazing. Rooms are clean, also quite nice in design. Requested for a room with good internet connection (and silent area if possible) for work-related reasons and they certainly delivered. The environment is great and the room was located such that it was relatively quiet during the day. Cannot hear noises from the other rooms. Unfortunately, there were some really loud guests in the hallway at night (maybe communicating with friends or family but were shouting as they talk about something before entering their rooms) and the noise would reach the room. Otherwise, cannot hear anything as long as the guests are in their rooms. Breakfast: The room package came with breakfast - there is an option that comes with ticket to the scenic area but I didn't take this one. Breakfast is buffet with several dishes to choose from. Asian and Western options available. Also has several beverage choices - I was quite happy they have coffee on top of tea, juices, etc. Overall, I had a great stay here even if I had to spend most of the time working. Would consider coming back for vacation.

Best location -Right in front of the road, easy to call for a car and you don't have to drag luggage just to grab a car by the road -turn left or right, walk to 夫子庙 less than 5mins Room -have the best pillow, just right firmness to have a good sleep -simply love the hair dryer Service -staff are help and nice

整個水庫區域風景如畫，自然和諧，酒店房間與户外親近，渾然一體。非常安靜，偶爾遠離都市，離羣索居，放空一下，特別適合。就餐的話，選擇偏少，會感覺有些不便，可略做準備。因為地處郊外，親水並植被茂盛，可能會有很多昆蟲，害怕蟲子的也許會介意，那就小心開窗，小心去後院！😄 前台辦理入住，接待熱情周到，很滿意。 第二天早餐9點半結束，時間上作為度假酒店有些不友好了；用餐區域不大，顯得擁擠。一家人9點10分進店用餐，注意到在9點28分仍有客人趕來用餐，有個麪條製作區的較富態的服務人員和一個貌似領班的之前一直在閑聊（始終在幹活的是其他幾位老大姐），她倆大聲告訴客人趕緊吃，馬上下班了。要麼就別讓進來，進來就別説這話，和趕客區別不大😓 作為熟悉體制內的我來説，真的感受到她倆滿滿的優越感，不知道這家酒店什麼背景，這一幕令我稍顯意外，有些不適。

Cleaning service should be improved. When you arrive in the room it is clear that they do not deep clean between one client and the other, cause the floors are not clean, there is dust, spider webs and there is heavy dirt in the corners of the room and behind the bathroom. Prp: the bed of the room I got was very comfy and soft. The room had a closet to store my clothes, and a big desk that was very convenient for me. The area around the building is very lively with a lot of restaurants and it's quite near the subway and train station (walking distance around 10-15 min). Cons:They should decide if they want you to provide an apartment or hotel service, they are not very clear what their aim is since they don't provide hotel service for short stays (like daily cleaning, they only take the rubbish but don't cleam bathroom and floors) but not even apartment service for longer stays (such as dish soap or a pot to cook, or things to clean the apartment on your own). They provide kitchen and washing machine with no cleaning products or kitchen appliances, not even soap to wash the mugs they provide (that were dirty). The people who work at the reception are friendly but completely disorganised. The first day I was locked out three times from my room cause they could not provide me with a proper keycode and finally gave me a key which I had to sit on the floor to open each time cause it was the emergency key of the electronic dial thing that there is on the door. One day I came back and the cleaning lady took out my electricity card even if I had food in the fridge that could have gone bad. They said that I should not use electricity and the A/C too much otherwise I should have paid more. They never stated this nor on the website or in person. After not providing me with good service, theh repeatedly asked me to give them good reviews and send them a screenshot of a 5 stars review, instead of asking me how to improve their service. Overall, when I booked the price was worth it but I would not book it again now that the price is more expensive.
