"Overall, our stay was nice. The hotel is clean, every noon they’re changing and cleaning staff in the room. Soundproof of the hotel may be not that good, but for me it was okay. The hotel is in 5 minutes reach to the subway. The location is pretty good, a lot of restaurants and shops nearby.
The minuses for me were: no toilet brush, bedside table on only one side. And although it is indicated that the room is designed for 2 people, there was only 1 chair at the table. There is also no phone to contact the reception. And there is no closet also, so it’s not convenient to store things."

"We had a very pleasant stay, and the location truly couldn’t be better. Everything was perfect. "Small family run hotel close to the old city wall museum. Rooms have view to a Canal and the glas pagoda. People are very helpful and friendly. Although rooms are well equipped all looks a bit cheap. As there is no elevator staff was carrying our luggage upstairs."

3) only sink area in had heated flooring, toilet floors were freezing cold.
Would definitely recommend if you dont mind the cons above as the location is simply excellent!"

Hotel has unique character. Located in a private complex so it is quieter with no public car / scooter allowed to get in.
Kids are happy playing and running outside the complex. Very clean, quiet and charming area.
Location: fantastic location at laomendong old town (3 mins walk to the main old town - all the main actions), 10 mins walk to the city wall.
We arrived at night and it was late (11pm) so it was a bit hard to find the accomm. 3 luggages and 2 kids made it hard-but I imagine using taxi outside the airport would make it easier and more convenience. The taxi will drop you off just outside the complex. It was 2 mins walk to the hotel. The hotel is easily found inside the complex. Check in process is super easy.
To travel around, there are 2 metro stations you can use. We usually use the wumending stations - around 15-25 mins walk depending on the kids mood. However we never have problem commutting. The walk to the station is dotted with shops (food, snacks, convenience stores).
Room: Clean, spacious and modern
A family of four.
We have plenty of space. Amenities are very modern. Plenty of storage space inside the toilet for your toileteries.
Bed is massive (king size) and comfortable.
We booked 2 beds to accommodate our family.
Daily housekeeping and water bottles replacement.
Communication:
The owner will add you on wechat on check in day. All communication can be done via wechat. The translation app in wechat is a god sent. The staff has minimal english - but we dont have any problem communicating through wechat conversation. You can ask them for information etc through wechat. They will reply straight away.
Services:
Impeccable, above and beyond.
The owner and all of the staffs are super helpful. Always keen to help. The owner took and showed us the restaurants around laomendong which are worth going - as there are plenty of restaurants around the areas.
Because it is a boutique hotel, the service is very personalised.
Breakfast:
Set meal for breakfast every morning. Serve at 8am. It is not buffee with hundreds of selections but they give you healthy and nourishing breakfast. We stay there for 4 days and everyday is different menu. We absolutely enjoy our breakfast.
Bits and pieces:
There is a friendly and well behaved corgi dog inside the residence. My kids are generally scared of dog but they could not help themselves petting and playing with the dog.
They missed the dog when we left Nanjing.
I ve seen other hotels in major areas when we walked around. But the street is very busy and wont suit us. Also hotels in cbd areas - no character surrounding the cbd. It would be perfect for business people but I think this hotel is very suited for leisure and family.
The hotel provide laundry service too. You just need to drop it off to front desk. They will wash, dry and fold them for you!!!
My daughter vomitted on our second night. The sheets would be stained from the vomit but they did not charge us for the damage.
The hotel can order you taxi if you dont have didi apps for taxi. My didi apps did not work as i did not set it up properly back home. You dont even need to pay the taxi driver either-they will sort it out and the hotel will charge you later.
The price might be a bit higher than the surrounding hotels, however its definately worth every penny.
In conclusion:
Your accommodation choice can really impact your trip. Floral hotel has been amazing and I believe this hotel was an excellent choice for family / leisure trip. We really enjoy our Nanjing trip because of Floral Hotel. Thank you Floral hotel for everything and we will definately stay at your hotel again next time we come to visit Nanjing.

MMisafir KullanıcıI booked Hanyuan because it is within walking distance to my folks home. And my grandma used to work at Nanjing Agricultural University, which the hotel is affiliated with. I read others’ reviews and knew it is an old facility. I did not have unrealistic expectations.
We arrived late at night. Taxi driver dropped us off at the side entrance that has numerous stairs to the door. We had lots of luggage. As we got out of the cab, we saw some staff member in the lobby looking out. Instead of coming out to help us, he walked away. My husband, myself and our seven year old all carried/dragged multiple items up the stairs to get into the hotel lobby.
We checked in and decided that we would need to add a bed for the kid. House keeping came quickly to set up the bed but was reluctant to provide pillows for the additional bed. I had to repeatedly ask before they agreed to bring an extra pillow. Don’t understand why there is such resistance to equip the additional bed with pillow- after all, we did pay for the additional bed.
Everything else was pretty good during our first three-day-stay. We then went away to visit families elsewhere for a week before coming back to this hotel.
This time, our car drove onto the ramp at the front entrance. As soon as we entered the building, lobby manager came to offer us help. He helped us deliver luggage to our room. We are very appreciative of his assistance.
We ran into some issues at the front desk this time. They asked for our passports again and took our pictures for a second time. When I mentioned that we were just here a week ago and all information was taken already, we were told that all information has been erased as we checked out. When we checked in/out the first time, we informed front desk that we were making the hotel our base camp and will be coming in and out a few times. It’s strange that they would delete our information and redo everything all over again.
Again we need to add a bed. House keeping brought a roller bed which has a stained mattress pad. I asked them to bring a clean one, they said they could not. They said they didn’t have any clean pads. They said the only option is to remove the pad and put the sheets directly on the mattress. They further suggested that since the sheet is clean, dirty pad doesn’t matter and that every mattress pad under bed sheets has urine stains. His words made my stomach turn but I was too tired to fight so they went ahead put sheets on top of the mattress pad that has a big yellow stain. Again I asked for pillows for the additional bed, they refused at first, upon my insistence, they agreed to bring pillows. They also took out a blanket from the cabinets under television and put it on the bed.
When the seven year old was ready for bed, I opened the blanket and realized it’s cover is dirty. It’s dusty and has multiple stings of hair on it. I called house keeping, a lady quickly bought over a clean duvet cover for the blanket but refused to take away the dirty one. She insisted that we keep the dirty duvet in the closet. I did not understand her rationale but there isn’t anything I can do. So that dirty duvet cover stayed in the closet.
Maybe I should not have come back to this hotel.

AAudreyTayHotel location ideal to newrby malls n food eateries, hotel room was automated with voice control and that is really nice! Bed linen and towel were fresh and crisp.
Front desk receptionists were all super friendly and helpful (they even helped with laundry though stated self service laundry room), the male staff even rushed out of the lobby to help me with my luggage when I was boarding the didi, it was so kind of him! they treated elderly guests with much care too!
Location is safe for female solo travellers and definitely will be back to stay again when I visit Nanjing

CCheol-woo ParkDuring my four-day, three-night stay, I thoroughly enjoyed myself and relaxed amidst the friendly hosts, clean facilities, and quiet surroundings.
The only drawback was that the buffet selection was the same every day.
Aside from that, the drinks and cocktails at the U-Bar were incredibly refreshing and delicious.
I'd like to thank Joji and Kelly for their special attention and hospitality. Even though we didn't have a Korean host, they did their best to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Incidentally, a Korean host came on our last day, so I think Koreans can also stay here without worry.
I'd love to visit again if I have the chance.

TTinaMThis is the first time I've had an absolutely 10/10 experience with any hotel. This particular hotel also outranks every other Marriott I've ever stayed at. I genuinely could not think of a single negative point. I was only in Nanjing for 2 nights, in town for a meeting, and I'm so glad I chose to stay here.
Firstly, the room is exactly as advertised. Marriott hotels always have the fluffiest pillows, but this particular hotel had the most HEAVENLY pillows. The bed was so comfy that I ended up postponing my day plans just so I could sleep in! I didn't realise how desperately I needed that rest and recuperation, and am glad I chose to stay here and get what I needed. Also, this hotel does not skimp on the water - most hotels will only give you 2 tiny bottles a day, which if it's blazing hot outside, can be frustrating, especially if you want to boil water for tea/coffee in the morning. This hotel provides 4-5 complimentary bottles of water per day. In many ways, I felt like they anticipated what I'd need and would provide it before I even had the chance to ask. There is also an ironing board stowed in the room, which for me was a lifesaver as I had an important meeting.
As other reviewers have mentioned, the location is indeed fantastic. I was so relieved to find that after a long train journey, I only needed to hop on the subway for 1 stop - I didn't even need to exit the building, as the hotel is located inside the mall connected to the subway station.
The breakfast spread is not too bad either, with the highlight for me being the espresso machines. When I tell you this machine delivers the most divine coffee in 10 seconds, I am not kidding. It was one of my favourite things and a great way to kickstart a busy day.
At check-in, the reception staff ensured they gave me all the info I needed. I noticed this is often skipped at other hotels as staff are shy or reluctant to speak in English, which results in foreign guests missing out on relevant info or complimentary perks - but the Marriott team refused to let language be an obstacle. I was glad to learn free snacks and coffee were available in the executive lounge each evening. While I was there, the executive lounge manager - I think her name is Sheila, apologies if I've gotten this wrong - took the time to introduce herself and ask if I needed anything. She was so polite and genuinely seemed to want to improve the experience for guests. To me, these small touches are what set a service-oriented luxury hotel apart from others.
On my first night, I'd arrived pretty exhausted after having sat on a delayed train for hours, and I wanted to order takeaway as I didn't have the energy to go out. They have ******* lockers positioned right at the hotel entrance, which you can unlock with your phone and collect your deliveries. Being a foreigner who doesn't understand Chinese very well, I wasn't sure how to navigate this, but the reception staff went out of their way to help me, ensuring they stayed with me until I'd collected my parcel - it was not at all necessary for them to help me so much, but they did, and I'm very grateful for that :)
I spent the entire month traveling in China and so, looking back, am able to compare all of the hotels and experiences from this trip. This particular hotel ranks 10/10 for me not only because of the location, but also because of the kindness and professionalism of staff. Things can sometimes be confusing or overwhelming for foreigners, and this was the only hotel where staff didn't hesitate to rush in and offer to help, no matter how small the issue. Even the gentleman at the coffee bar in the lobby was so kind and polite - and might I add, everyone at this hotel speaks English, so they really do cater to an international crowd. Housekeeping staff too were very sweet, always greeting you and asking if you needed extra bottles of water.
Thank you for a relaxing, delightful stay! I hope to come again and stay longer next time.

TThal-IndraLe seul bémol serait l'odeur de cigarette qui persiste (différence de culture je pense). Aussi le nettoyage laisse une odeur bizarre dans le sol et la salle de bain sentait la fumée.
A part ça, l'emplacement est assez bien situé, les chambres sont agréables avec une belle vue :)

MMisafir KullanıcıThis hotel ( I think it is more like a motel) is next to the Fuzimiao and near the Qin Huai River, both the busiest spots in Nanjing. The hotel is located in an alley which smells and my room view was a local resident apartment building, that I had to keep the curtain closed for privacy. The main street outside the hotel is extremely crowded at night with so many people and cars. There are also many restaurants but they mostly offer the same kind of Nanjing dishes. There is a subway station five minutes walk away from the hotel. There was one washer and a dryer available for guests free.
I stayed 4 nights and the breakfast was the same every morning; there was western breakfast or Chinese breakfast you could choose, but not a lot of varieties and I didn’t find them tasty and I skipped the breakfast on the fourth morning.

Ayrıca verilen tek terlik pamuklu, bu yüzden duş için kendi terliklerinizi getirmeyi unutmayın. Bunun dışında otel harika bir değer. Kesinlikle tavsiye ederim.

LLanfeijiaihege整個水庫區域風景如畫，自然和諧，酒店房間與户外親近，渾然一體。非常安靜，偶爾遠離都市，離羣索居，放空一下，特別適合。就餐的話，選擇偏少，會感覺有些不便，可略做準備。因為地處郊外，親水並植被茂盛，可能會有很多昆蟲，害怕蟲子的也許會介意，那就小心開窗，小心去後院！😄

第二天早餐9點半結束，時間上作為度假酒店有些不友好了；用餐區域不大，顯得擁擠。一家人9點10分進店用餐，注意到在9點28分仍有客人趕來用餐，有個麪條製作區的較富態的服務人員和一個貌似領班的之前一直在閑聊（始終在幹活的是其他幾位老大姐），她倆大聲告訴客人趕緊吃，馬上下班了。要麼就別讓進來，進來就別説這話，和趕客區別不大😓
作為熟悉體制內的我來説，真的感受到她倆滿滿的優越感，不知道這家酒店什麼背景，這一幕令我稍顯意外，有些不適。

There are also convenient bicycle rental spots nearby, which made getting around the city easy. The room was clean and comfortable, and the service was very good. The staff were especially helpful – they even assisted me in buying a socket and recommended some great places to visit.
