"Hotel Hacienda Redfern is perfect for an action-packed city break if you won’t be spending much time in your room. Although the room is quite small, it’s clean and comfortable, and the soundproofing does a decent job. However, travelers sensitive to noise should note that the nearby railway can be a bit disruptive. The location is excellent, with easy access to Redfern’s lively bar scene, and it’s only a short stroll or bike ride to both Central and Redfern stations."

"If u get a room on the Harbour side, the view is post card perfect! Wendy Whiteley’s secret garden is behind the hotel which is conveniently located within walking distance to the ferries and the Harbour Bridge. The hotel’s location is not as much a tourist area like Darling Harbour or the Rocks are which means limited restaurants and nightlife but also means less crowds."

"I flew into Sydney early, needed accommodation close the airport because I was flying out early the following morning. I arrived at 11:30am, knowing checkout time was not till 2pm. They said I could stow my luggage until 2pm OR pay $10 per hour, for every hour I check in early. In all my years of travel I have NEVER experienced that: it’s usually either ‘no availability until 2pm because rooms are being cleaned’ OR ‘you are in luck, there is a room available now’. So I paid $25 to checkin 2.5 hours early. What a cash grab for a very average hotel.
FYI: there is nowhere right out front to pick up or drop off because it’s on the corner of 2 main roads."

"This hotel has many good things about it and one not great thing. It is in a great location (100 meters from Circular Quay, and right in the Rocks) I walked to Darling Harbour from the hotel as well. The bed and comforter were extremely comfortable. The one bad thing is the noise insulation. It's an older hotel so that may be expected. When an adjacent room closed their door it was loud enough to wake me up. Also, There is a bar across the street that played music until midnight on Wed and 2am on Thur. Oddly the bar was closed on Friday (yay!)"

"Really great location where you’re at the heart of the city where every spot is walkable, with darling harbour just minutes away.
The room is more than enough space for one, with luxe touches to add pizazz to the stay.
The housekeeping team were very accommodating to clean the room daily, even on days where I’m leaving the hotel later in the afternoon.
On my last day, I requested a later checkout, albeit at a fee, but the staff were able to kindly accommodate quite quickly.
Overall, will be staying here again on my next yearly visit to Sydney."

"The hotel is new and modern. Although it is small, we can still lay out two big suitcases. The location is okay, with a nearby train station, multiple bus stops, and the Westfield shopping mall. The staff are nice, and it’s good to have a refill water station on every floor. However, the cleaning service is only provided on the fourth day of the stay, which is too long. You can request them to empty the trash bins and change towels every day, though."

"Short walk to Sydney Domestic Airport. KFC and Mc's right around the corner. Affordable rooms. Excellent service: they let me check in early at 1330h. After I checked out in the morning, I left my large suitcase in the storage room for awhile so that I can go around the city, then came back to retrieve it in the afternoon, no additional fee. Receptionists were very courteous."

"Disappointing Stay for a Special Occasion – Expected More from a 5-Star Hotel
Stayed 4 nights with my daughter for her surprise birthday staycation. Upgraded to a Harbour Bridge View room on Level 23 ($715/night), but the view was mostly of a vacant construction site – very underwhelming for the price. Noisy interconnecting room and loud sports cars between 12–2am made it hard to sleep. Breakfast ($65pp) was below expectations – dried sausages and barely cooked bacon, though staff were lovely. Room service on our last night took nearly an hour – ordered at 7:38pm, food arrived at 8:30pm. As a solo mum, this was a trip we had saved up for a long time and wanted it to be truly special, but we were left feeling disappointed. Expected more from a 5-star hotel.
The positive highlights of our stay was the lovely big bath and high-quality shower amenities, which added a touch of luxury. Fantastic location and beautiful walk along the waterfront!!
For the price we paid, the view fell far short of what you'd expect from a luxury hotel. In hindsight, the lower rate Deluxe King Room overlooking the water would have been a much better choice!

TTTWWSWow, what can I say? This hotel was absolutely amazing from the service from the Geo with a warm welcome and our luggage taken away from us at the door to the personalised service that we received at check-in. Walking in the rooms are simply amazing being so elegantly furnished and so clean and spacious. The bathroom had all the amenities you could even imagine and you could easily get stuff and order through the iPad. Their indoor pool and Jim is simply amazing and includes a spa with massage function and there’s also a specialty shower room and sauna room. The breakfast buffet was also a very high standard and you can order à la carte items which were very delicious. There was also a lounge room which is similar to an executive lounge open to all hotel gas and (Office) complimentary tea and alcohol drinks too. I’m definitely return to stay at this hotel and it is absolutely amazing. Thank you very much, Capella Sydney.

MMisafir KullanıcıÇok rahat bir konaklama. Daha önce burada kalmıştım ve tekrar geldim. Aslında başka bir hostelde kalıyordum ama eski ve kirliydi, bu yüzden hemen üstümü değiştirip burada kaldım. Temiz, personel kibar ve nazik. Çamaşır odası kapısını açamadığımda hemen yardımcı oldular, bu da çok yardımcı oldu. Ayrıca resepsiyonda kiralık saç kurutma makineleri de var. Sydney'e tekrar geldiğimde kesinlikle onları kullanacağım.

MMisafir KullanıcıThe location was perfect next to the China Town & convenient to CBD. Only 15-20mins transportation to Sydney airport. I checked around 00:00, only One staff at the front desk, he seemed tired & his hand writing was terrible, the WiFi PW did not work & no one answer the phone when I dial from room. Next day, another helpful staff wrote the correct PW for me. The room was spacious but no enough desk area, the bed was comfy. The hygiene was unacceptable specially the toilet. The cleaning staff only clean twice during my 5 nights stay , the hair was sticked on the ceiling , molds were terrible in the shower area. The hotel need to enhance the cleaning & interior environment work. Overall this hotel was not worthy for the price I paid. Disappointed.

MMisafir KullanıcıExcellent location - extremely convenient. Quick and easy to get everywhere thanks to proximity to the light rail, along with being walking distance from darling harbour. Unfortunately the hotel messed up our booking and there was no family room available upon our arrival but we were upgraded to a suite which was great. A shame we had to wait until 3pm to check in which is rather late in comparison to most hotels. The room itself was clean and tidy though I would say not really ‘4 star’. Overall it was a solid stay for our family of three but I would suggest the hotel is being a little cheeky with their ‘suggestion’ that room cleaning only happens every 4 days- I want my rubbish cleaned out every day thankyou!

When I left behind a very expensive tea pot they did not hesitate to store it for it me, when I decided to have it posted to my address, they organized everything! It arrived safely and was pacakged professionally in a way that meant it was never going to be broken.

Das Hotel befindet sich über dem Pub, der auch ab nachmittags sehr gut besucht ist.
Es gibt dort sonntags auch Livemusik bis ca 21 Uhr abends.
Alles vollkommen in Ordnung, wenn man nicht gerade Zimmer 10 neben der Waschmaschine/Trockner hat und neben der Lüftung schläft. Auch wenn ab 21 Uhr trocknen und waschen nicht erlaubt ist,störte es sehr.
Die Hotelzimmer gehen nach hinten raus,so hat man morgens leider ebenso den Lärm der Ladezone vom Supermarkt.
Positiv war,dass das Zimmer in einem modernen Zustand war und die Mitarbeiter alle sehr nett waren.
Der Strand ist fußläufig zehn Minuten entfernt.
