We enjoyed our stay in Yatter. Thanks to Kiki being super helpful and responsive who upgraded our room, and resolved my issues even before we arrived. I thought it’s still a good value considering all amenities and services, even though it is away from the city centre. But we rather stay somewhere quiet and nice like Yatter for the better quality.

Very convenient location to book and stay. Quite central and close to shopping, lao ba cha, a wen chang chicken restaurant and easy walkable distance to a park. Clean and friendly staff who helped us heaps with recommendations (in English). Highlights were definitely comfortable bed, large shower, midnight congee snack (free), and even got parting gifts from staff of coconut chips, biscuits and water for our onward journey!

西海岸諾福特酒店非常新，前台小姐熱情有禮，主動和住客打招呼，還大方提供酒精貼和眼鏡清潔貼。這次入住，前台給升級大床房，房間特別大，燈光温馨，地毯椅子特別乾淨。床墊舒服，枕頭不高不低，入睡容易。早餐品種少了些，但精緻，營養搭配合理。晚上9點還有三種粥可選擇，照顧住客的需要。酒店還有洗衣房，還配有內衣殺菌消毒液，貼心周到。

very comfortable hotel with large rooms and bathroom. location is convenient but the road in from is pretty congested during peak hours. the mall behind the hotel looks deserted. walk to mixc mall took less than 10 mins but you'll need to cross two big roads. TV needs improvement as the control is not responsive. Separately booked hotel breakfast at the counter and it costs 98 RMB for two adults which is very affordable for the decent spread of standard hotel breakfasts. they also had special pillows on request. room also had a nespresso machine though capsules provided were not nespresso branded.

The hotel manager went above and beyond with personalized off-property recommendations, guiding me to the best local gems—from a vibrant jazz bar to a charming walking street and an exquisite French restaurant. Every recommendation was a real treat, showcasing true VVIP bespoke butler-style service that made my trip even more special. I have traveled extensively across Asia, and I can confidently say that MOS Hotel Haikou holds a unique charm that is hard to find elsewhere. The hotel is about a 25-minute drive from Haikou East Railway Station. It is a large resort mainly designed for golf visitors. The hot spring pools are located very close to the hotel building and stay open until 11 p.m. The breakfast starts as early as 6 a.m., which is convenient for early risers or guests catching a morning flight. The location is not very convenient, as the nearest shopping mall is about a 20-minute drive away. We booked a room for three adults, but the hotel only provided two complimentary entries to the hot spring pools. The third guest had to pay 88 RMB. Since the booking clearly included three adults, it would have been a nice gesture for the hotel to extend complimentary access for all three. Overall, it’s a spacious resort with enjoyable hot springs.

This hotel is my first choice for staying in Haikou. The service provided by Joy and Alyssa at the FD made me feel at home. The sea view in the room was great, and the breakfast was delicious. I would recommend this hotel to my friends to stay here. Everything was great!

Overall a pleasant stay for us at this local hotel, which was one of the few that’s able to accommodate my wife and I plus our 3 children, in two connecting rooms. We stayed over 5 nights in this property. It served our purpose perfectly for a short stay at a convenient location served directly by a bus service with the airport. We arrived hours ahead due to changes in flight schedule, but the front desk was very generous and checked us in as soon as the rooms were ready, that's great customer service 👍 The rooms were large and well stocked with the necessary essentials including rubber slippers. There were 2 bathrooms+toilets as well as an additional standalone WC ~ more than enough for our use and made the stay even more pleasant. There was a large living room with an adjacent study area equipped with desk, chair and power outlets, that's shielded off the noise from living room - a great addition for those who needed space to get some work done. The hotel is located in a convenient location that's close to local food places and simple shopping. There's a supermarket in a building basement about two blocks away that's well stocked. You can even get a quick haircut for RMB15 in the same basement for those (guys) who don't care much about style 😂 There are LUCK IN coffee, Mixue, KFC, local eateries, street food, and restaurants all within short walk of about 200m. One thing great about this hotel is the bus transport serving Meilan airport that starts and ends at this property, costing just RMB20 per person per direction. Each hotel booking apparently entitled the guest one free ticket! We departed the hotel on this bus which took about 50 mins to reach the airport, as it made a few scheduled stops along the way and was driven at a slow steady bus speed. That perfectly solved the trouble and costs of having to book 2 taxis due to number of people and luggages, right at the hotel door step! One attraction of the hotel was the hot spring available in the bathroom via a large wooden tub, as well as one outside the hotel for guests. I saw some guests using the public pool which would involve walking out of the hotel in bathrobes and slippers onto the driveway and all. We’re not the hot spring type so no comments, but this feature may appeal to others. Some negative points that prevented the property having full 5 stars: - Erratic WiFi connection - the WiFi sometimes would have no Internet connection, randomly, it could be evening or even morning when everyone was sleeping and not many devices connected. As we had two rooms technically so there were two WiFi logins for our use. Sometimes one would work and not the other and at different times. Sometimes the connection would be lost halfway while using. It’s really irritating. We made multiple feedback but nothing had improved. - the property is really aged and a refresh is badly needed. It’s livable and generally clean for sure, but the decor, style and musky smell especially in the hallways, were unmistakable. According to the plague near the main entrance, the property was completed around the 2000s, that’s time for university graduation if this were a person😀

Weather in Haikou was a little gloomy, but Erin went out of her way to make our stay pleasant and enjoyable. She was readily available on WeChat to answer my queries and gave me good recommendations on how to best spend my time in Haikou. Overall the hotel was also comfortable, and I love that there is an indoor kids playground which my daughter had so much fun in, and also that it’s close to the beach! The buffet breakfast every morning also served up a good spread, but their international dinner buffet was the best!

Hotel has 6 floors with 1 lift. Average size room. Big windows, Queen bed with 2 pillows, 2 bedside tables. 1 round table with chair. Std amenities with paper cups. Laundry has 1 washer and 1 dryer. Separate bath/toilet, bath, face towels. Floor towel mat. Small area but OK. Water flow out and wet toilet area although separated. No rain shower. Big slippers. Adequate hangers and hooks. Power sockets not well placed. Good location opposite People's Park. Buses to everywhere including railway station and airport. Plenty of food stalls, restaurants, convenience stores, shopping malls nearby. Very popular hotel. Breakfast simple but good.
