"The hotel is overall clean and cozy. Areas requiring improvement is the toilet door which is quite heavy to slide sideways. Moreover, the staff service in the morning buffet session needed improvement. For example, the waitress was too fast in cleaning up the plates when we were still eating which caused disturbance. The staff who refilled the porridge did not clean up the food she spilled. Furthermore, the staff responsible for cooking the noodles pulled a long face. I don't mean to be picky but the staff service definitely require improvement in order to claim itself a 5-star hotel."

"Sadly the hotel is not what it was. Everything is looking a bit tired and grubby. The rooms had a really strong odour - mine of damp masked by airfreshener and my colleagues of stale smoke. Everything looks worn, even the hangers in the wardrobe! It wouldn’t take much just to give it a bit of a refresh on the fittings and grouting. Breakfast was also disappointing from what it used to be - no fresh juices. But pasteries and fruit was good. coffee was diabolical and utterly undrinkable- i think they must have shares in the Starbucks downstairs! but beds were clean, massive and just as comfy as i remember them."

"I have stayed at many hotels in China and around the world and surprisingly, the Hilton Riverside Quanzhou was one of the best hotels I have stayed in. The hotel is incredibly clean, modern, and tastefully decorated. Darren, a member of the front desk staff, was very helpful and accommodating. The breakfast selection was great and there are river views all over the hotel. The room itself was spectacular. I was in a suite with a walk in closet, living room with office space, large bedroom and large bathroom with a soaking tub. Each room in the suite had a river view. I look forward to my next trip to Quanzhou and will surely book the Hilton Quanzhou again. "

"Toilet flush was no good, used once and it was clogged. Power plug by one of the bedside was spoilt, couldn’t hold my adaptor. USB power plug couldn’t charge my ipad either, had to connect it to a plug to charge. Great that they provide all necessities such as water and hair dryer. Had a very nice view - Saw the sunrise from the bedroom,"

"This is a newly opened hotel in Quanzhou/Jinjiang. The location is convenient for visits to west street, wudianshi. It is also near shopping malls typically would take around 10-15min by taxi. Staff at the front desk and around the hotel are professional and friendly. There is also a robot that helped deliver replenishments and food. There is also a self service laundry room which is great for washing your clothes. The staff even offered to help to send clothes after drying to our room. I.e. you need to no wait at room for collection. Rooms are located at high floors in general starting from level 16. Space is decent compared to other hotels. There was slight renovation smell in the room given the hotel is new but was not too bad. A small suggestion to the hotel: please offer body lotion as it is a common service in most hotels. Overall, a pleasant experience and I will definitely recommend choosing this hotel when you travel to Quanzhou/Jinjiang."
