"Friendly and sincere hospitality for those who wish to experience the hotel in its old school charm. My elderly parents enjoyed the breakfast buffet spread. Dad needed something more continental while mom likes her Chinese style options. Lao Nanning and San Jie Liang Xiang were within minutes of walking and did not disappoint. Walmart and Parkson are just across from it too. Although some parts of the room or building felt a little dated, the good thing about Nanning Hotel is its somewhat landmark status among the locals who can direct you should you need help finding your way back after wandering through the streets. Definitely value for your money!"

"For the price is very good value and I would stay again. They provide towels, little bottles of shampoo and shower bath, and you even get drinking water every day. The afternoon tea (if included in your booking) is a bunch of snacks and some fruit they give you to eat in your room. Nothing like an official afternoon tea but still very nice. You can use the washing machine for free (be aware that the drying function is not the best but they also provide drying racks, so just give it some time). My only concern: the carpet in the room definitely needs a deep-clean. And even if it's non-smoking guests seem to smoke. You could smell it in the floors and when I first turned on the AC, it smelled badly like cigarettes. But it's not the hotels fault."

Soft, comfortable bedding ensures a restful night’s sleep, while all necessary facilities are available. Everyday essentials are fully stocked, making the stay both comfortable and secure. What’s more noteworthy is the hotel's exceptional accessibility and seamless travel experience, as well as its significant cost-effectiveness. Such a high standard of experience makes it an outstanding choice for accommodations in Nanning, highly recommended to everyone!"

"Great location if shopping centres and city life is your thing but the street noise may be disturbing. Very standard amenities, small pool with no view, large gym, a sauna that took ages to heat up, needs upgrade/fixing. Great breakfast buffer with wide selection of Chinese and Western dishes. Overall a 4* experience, as expected, so no major +/- issues. If you want a 5* accomodation at not different price point other options are available in Nanning. I had very good experience with Ming-Du, not as central locationl as Marriott, but quieter, better views, and overall a more elevated environment."

"The location of the hotel is strategic as it’s close to subway. There is a lot of eateries nearby. Even though the room is small but enough for one person to stay. The cleanliness of the room is satisfied. Definitely will stay here again if visit Nanning in future"

"Surrounding is a residential district, has good range of food outlets. Taxis and ride hails are readily available. Breakfast buffet spread was very good. Building is well kept, exterior is clean, lobby areas and general guest access areas well maintained. Staff (front desk, laundry room, restaurant) are courteous and helpful. Housekeeping is prompt and clean."

"Excellent location allows you to wheel your luggage from the train station in minutes, yet most of the city is still easily accessible on foot, metro or escooter. The hotel itself is large but immaculate. A good breakfast is available. All this at a very reasonable price. Special thanks to Lee, a charming front desk man who was able to help me with my stay, speaking excellent English"

"We had a wonderful stay and were truly impressed by how extremely service-oriented the staff were—everyone was warm, friendly, and genuinely helpful. A special mention goes to the lady who assisted us during check-in; unfortunately, we didn’t catch her name, but she made us feel very welcome right from the start. The laundry service was a big plus and very convenient. Housekeeping also did an excellent job keeping the room clean and comfortable throughout our stay. On top of that, there was a very sweet cleaning lady in the lobby who proactively helped us with our luggage when we checked out, which was such a thoughtful gesture. The breakfast spread was also really good, with plenty of variety and a great way to start the day. Overall, the level of service truly stood out and made our stay extra pleasant."
