"The front lady was very polite and friendly. We arrived late and needed to stay close to Nanning Station for the train in early morning. This hotel is one of the closest hotels in walking distance. The bed was comfortable and the toilet and shower were separated to two areas so when I showered, my son could use the toilet. Its a good design. The hotel is very good for the price."

"The hotel was okay. The rooms are old, there were no switches for the different lamps on the walls directly but only a control System next to the bed, meaning that if you come back from outside and you want to go to the bathroom, you need to go to the bed and switch on the light from that control System first and then go to the bathroom. Also the windows cannot be opened, in order to refresh the air, you can only turn on the AC. Another problem for our room was that the room door could not always be locked. The rooms are opened with cards but once after leaving the room i tried to open the door without holding the card and it worked because the door hadnt properly closed. No matter how I tried to close door, it would keep opening without the card. Breakfast was okay, in general there was a good choice of food, but the food was mainly chinese and cooked, so very few choice for Western breakfast. However I can understand because there are not a lot of Western tourists going to the City. Location is amazing, you cross the street and you re in the pedestrian zone. In general the hotel is okay."

"Christy took us to our room and she is extremely helpful. She is an asset to the hotel and she should be voted employee of the year. Christy responded efficiently and quickly in every matters. She is able to give us advice on transportation in every aspect. We will able to communicate with her when we had difficulties in going back to Nanning when we were in Detian Waterfall. Without her help we will be truly stuck. The location of the hotel is near to Landong bus station as well as the hi speed railway station. The hotel is about 6 mins walk from the subway. 10 minutes walk to loads of street food and restaurant."

"I was at the hotel over the May holidays. The location is super close to the train station and has a lot of food eateries and convenience stores around if needed. The staff was super helpful and despite the language barrier, went above and beyond to accommodate for all needs. I would like to mention Andy from the front desk who went above and beyond to help me book day trips at the very last minute and made sure we got breakfasts ready for early morning. He even made sure we are well taken care of during our entire stay and made sure we made it back to Shanghai okay. He definitely made a very good impression and I would love to go back for a visit to Nanning and stay again at the Hamptons. Thanks Andy and the entire staff of Hamptons for making the stay so memorable and comforable. :)"

"The bed is comfortable and the bathroom water pressure works fine. The hotel lift can be slow. Receptionists’ readiness to serve well is not on point, just need to keep communicating with them for an answer. Location is alright, it’s near to nanning railway station and perhaps 20-30mins away from the big shopping malls."

"Hotel looks grand and gorgeous. Services are all good and staffs are polite and kind. The only downside is the hotel room aircon. Not sure if it’s really working but most of the time feel stuffy and hot. Might be due to the cold weather outside these days. But all else are good."
