Transportation around the city is also convenient, with Andou Metro Station within walking distance. There is no shortage of things to see in the area, with the Xiamen Jichang-Yuanlin Square, Xiamen City Square and Qingshui Palace all nearby. When guests have some time on their hands they can make use of the onsite facilities. For those driving themselves, parking is provided on site. There's never a dull moment at this hotel, our guests indicate that the facilities are excellent. This hotel is a popular accommodation for guests traveling for business.

"I really liked my stay there. I do think it may be harder for foreigners to stay here compared to possibly other options as most workers do not speak English. I found it quite hard to communicate. However, I do recommend it and I personally would stay again. Especially as we overcame the challenges of communication and I was easily able to work with the staff. The bathroom and bed are amazing and I would love to use them again. The airport is only 10 yen away by taxi which is amazing and I honestly would come again. I added two photos. One of my breakfast and another of the room while I was watching tv."

Free parking during stay is available and the final terminal station of No. 1 Metro station is just 5 min. walk from the hotel. "Love this hotel! Great location very close to subway station and ZhongsanLou with lots of dining choices. Room is great for families too! Very big, equipped with a mini kitchen with induction cooker, pans, utensils, a huge ref and microwave! Practically your home away from home. The breakfast also has lots of great choices! The only ”glitch” for me here is the super long wait in the elevator mid-morning due to many checkouts and breakfast rush. Fire escape stairwell is also locked so we couldnt go down, so we ended up taking the elevator up just to go down. But overall the staff are very helpful, and they even accomodated our extended checkout time."

"Highly recommended esp due to good location. Lots of restaurants nearby & mall just opposite of hotel. Kind & helpful staff named Lisa & Roki that made our stay a very pleasant one. Room was spacious. My only feedback is that the breakfast can be improved. Serving all types of potatoes in one morning is just too boring. Boiled eggs & tea eggs at the same time is just no brainer. Maybe I expected more as this is Holiday Inn not some local hotel brand."

"This has got to be one of the best hotels I've ever stayed in! Very new/clean rooms, great laundry facilities, great sound proofing, strong shower pressure and design. AI sound command to control the lights and curtains works great. Location is unbeatable as well being in the middle of Zhingshan Pedestrian shopping strip and food everywhere within a earshot. Near to the metro station and BRT. But my greatest shout out is their impeccable service. The check in process involved the desk staff escorting us to our room and explaining everything we needed to know. She saw that we had 4 kids with us and organised more amenities for us without us asking. Next, it's the house keeping. We hung some wet laundry that are not suitable for dryers in our balcony chairs. When we came back after a long day, we found a laundry rack sitting on our balcony with our laundry hung neatly there... Super impressed. Then on the day before our check out date, we found a hand written appreciation note sitting in our coffee table with a vase of fresh flowers.... Common... Really?! Another thing that's worth mentioning is their concierge service. They use WeChat where you can communicate with someone if you need anything (WeChat is manned by a staff 24hrs). We asked for more towel at about 12 midnight and we had our towels sent by their robot concierge within minutes! Overall, we had a wonderful experience there and will definitely stay there again. If we could give 10 stars would most certainly would. Kudos to the hotel management team and staff!"

WWan SuwanThe apartment location is in good environment, going around with taxi is fair enough, however, the building itself doesn't exist on the map, only the neighbor one does, which made us difficult to find the right building when we first arrived, plus we have no idea that the check in room, is one of the room on the 5th floor, as in the address of the hotel, it just put room 501, 521 Gaolin Road, etc. I recommend to give more details to ease the check-in of the hotel description like, 'when arrive, please contact room 501 on the 5th floor to check in', also, the hotel should pin the exact building location on the map, otherwise, guests may get lost on first arrive like us, whereas people around don't speak English to help too. The apartment itself is clean and in good condition with good space & layout. Facilities are good enough, except, the kitchen is kind of waste because there is no kitchenette at all, they only provide bottle water, glasses/paper cup & electric kettle in the kitchen, in which we expect a hotel apartment should have at least some kitchenette like tableware, cutlery, pot or pan (as they have electric stove) and at least a microwave oven & dishwashing liquid, which partly why we choose to stay in the apartment rather than normal hotel. This is one of the upset issues that we have for this stay. The breakfast comes as McDonald's breakfast coupon consists of one small Berger & a drink, which is fine as McDonald is on the street level of the building itself. Plus thing is that we can request for more bottle water & the disposable towel with no additional cost. Although the disposable towel is not so good to use as towel, they are still acceptable & hygienic, so, if you want more comfort, I suggest, bring your own towel. The washer works well, no dryer, but they provide hanger with drying space where there are windows open. The nearest large shopping center, Wanda Plaza, is nearby, taxi costs only ~CNY10, where you can find lots of restaurants & Walmart, etc. In overall, this property is good & worth of money.

MMisafir KullanıcıWe had a beautiful stay at Lan Hua Li and strongly recommend it to anyone wishing to stay in Xiamen. The setting of the hotel is gorgeous, on a hill just up from Shapowei. Walking distance (including to Nan Pu Tuo and Xiamen University), but a peaceful world away from the city overlooking Xiamen harbour. The property itself is very beautiful with a lovely outdoor area and gardens with a shallow pool, and a very peaceful bistro/cafe/bar. The rooms are beautiful. Just as you see in the photos. While the bed is lovely and the views gorgeous, the real winner is the bathtub in the bedroom. I'm not usually a bath person, but I bathed every night of our 6 night stay and loved it. In addition to this, there is also a very functional large bathroom with shower. What made the stay particularly charming is the kindness of the staff. Everyone - from the managers to the breakfast staff to the early morning cleaner who chatted to me while I had my dawn cigarette in the garden - was very welcoming and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. As a foreigner, with practical challenges travelling in China, I cannot emphasise enough how reassuring and helpful this was. We will always remember our stay at Lan Hua Li, and will recommend it to our friends and perhaps will come to stay again someday if we ever want a nostalgic holiday in Xiamen. The hotel’s location was extremely convenient, with popular attractions like Gulangyu Island just a short distance away. The surrounding area offered fantastic restaurants and a stunning coastline, making our stay both enjoyable and hassle-free. Our room was cozy, clean, and surprisingly welcoming—despite its compact size, it had a warm, homely feel. The breathtaking view, incredibly comfortable bed, and the attentive cleaning staff all contributed to a truly satisfying experience. Overall, we were thoroughly impressed and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Xiamen!

The room is equipped with smart appliance that works with voice commands to Xiao Du. There is a laundry area and guest can access to it with free of charge. However, few of the room that we booked, has problem with the flooring. The hotel quickly changed us for a new room when we complaint about the flooring that caused hazard. The breakfast is similar everyday with little choice. The hotel is at level three of the shopping mall. There is a lot of eatery shop nearby with a convenience shop opposite the hotel. In short, the location is very strategic and can access to all shops (e.g. pharmacy, lucking coffee, bread shop, milk tea shop, eatery street, and etc) at walking distance.

Given the late hour and festive season, we were concerned that nearby restaurants might already be closed. To our pleasant surprise, several small eateries within 50 meters of the hotel were still open, allowing us to enjoy a proper late dinner. It was a reassuring start to our stay. The hotel’s environment is comfortable and welcoming. The lobby features a bright, clean design with warm wood tones and soft lighting that create a calm, relaxing atmosphere. A tasteful display area and cozy seating space add a subtle blend of business functionality and artistic charm. The front desk staff were professional and courteous, and the check-in process was smooth and efficient despite the late hour. We stayed in the Premier Themed Room (Japanese Style with Sakura), which was truly one of the highlights of our trip. Upon entering, we were greeted by a beautifully designed Japanese-inspired interior. Warm lighting, wooden flooring, and delicate sakura (cherry blossom) wall art created a serene and elegant ambiance. Wooden partition panels and subtle decorative details added refinement, giving the space an artistic yet tranquil feel — almost like a small ryokan-style retreat in the heart of Xiamen. All essential toiletries were generously provided, including shampoo, conditioner, body wash, dental kits, slippers, and towels. Everything was neatly arranged and well-maintained, reflecting attention to guest comfort. The complimentary breakfast was another pleasant surprise. It offered a good variety of well-prepared options, making it a satisfying way to start each day. The location is highly convenient, close to the Xiamen International Convention & Exhibition Center, with California Plaza Shopping Mall next door offering numerous dining choices. Whether for business or leisure, the hotel is an excellent option. However, it's a bit difficult to locate as it only has a small counter in building.. The rooms are decently clean though the view is building rooftop and the water basin tap is leaking, making the room a bit wet... U may need to bring own towel if u r not used to disposable ones.. In conclusion, it's a decent room and yes, we will stay again n recommend this homestay to others..

HHuoshan酒店位於中山路步行街上，位置優越，出門就能逛繁華的商業街，周邊吃的喝的玩的都很方便啊，出行打車也方便，步行不到10分鐘就能到達中山路碼頭了，房間寬敞舒適，配套設施完善，衞生間乾淨清爽，雖臨街但有雙層窗，夜晚也安靜，服務員都熱情周到服務耐心，免費為我升級了房間，必須推薦了！

PPhindy_FireI don't really have anything much to say about this hotel. We hardly slept, however, as we came for partying in the city. We had a late check out and check in as early as 12pm. That's the good part!
