"🌈 Xiamen's 'Shanghai Peace Hotel,' 'Guangzhou Aiqun Hotel' 🙋 Took my parents to Xiamen and wanted them to experience something different. 👏 Lujiang Garden is full of charm and boasts an excellent location. 🌸 It's right next to the entrance of Zhongshan Road, directly opposite the Xiamen Citizen Ferry terminal. 🍃 Booked a family room, and we got to sleep with the beautiful night view of Gulangyu Island. 👌 The oversized tatami mat could easily fit four children, no problem. 🍜 The booking included a buffet afternoon tea and a semi-buffet breakfast. 🍸 The afternoon tea is on the first floor – just think of it as an executive lounge. 🥂 The cocktails were good; I had two. 🥑 Breakfast is served in the scenic restaurant on the 7th floor, with fantastic outdoor views. 🧇 It's a semi-buffet, where you can scan to order dishes like bird's nest and shark fin, Shacha noodles, Eggs Benedict, and tuna crisps. The mixed scallops, smoked salmon, and seaweed shrimp cakes available on-site were all excellent. It makes sense for a single breakfast to cost 168 RMB. ✨ We had a very comfortable stay. I'd definitely come back again if I have the chance."

"Our stay at Seaview was very satisfying overall. All the staff, especially my butler, were incredibly accommodating and had excellent attitudes. We didn't find the room damp at all. Aside from being a little smaller than expected, everything else was great. The kids had a fantastic time in the pool, and the beach right outside, Huangcuo Beach, had really fine sand and clean water – much better than I anticipated. The food was decent, nothing spectacular, but tasty nonetheless. A special mention for the Shacha noodles at breakfast – they were delicious! We stayed in the Insect Family Room, and even though the balcony didn't open directly to the pool, it was still very close by."

Downstairs, there's a food street, and I particularly recommend 'Ugly Boss BBQ' right next door to the hotel! It serves authentic Hunan cuisine and is definitely worth trying!"

"I chose this hotel because the photos on Trip.com made the rooms look spacious, modern, and clean. Unfortunately, the actual room was completely different. It was much smaller, dirty, and poorly maintained. The bathroom was not clean, and water continuously dripped from the ceiling while I was using it, which was very uncomfortable and unacceptable. The room had an air conditioner, but there was no remote control. When I asked the staff about it, they initially wanted to charge me 20 RMB. After a 5 RMB discount, I still had to pay 15 RMB just to use the air conditioner. I have never experienced a hotel charging guests extra for an AC remote. A few minutes after checking in, I realized there was no complimentary drinking water in the room. When I politely asked the staff for water, they simply told me they could not provide any and that I had to buy it myself. This was extremely disappointing, especially after already paying extra for the AC remote. The staff, including the manager, were rude, unfriendly, and unhelpful throughout my stay. They seemed more interested in charging extra money than providing good customer service. Even the basic amenities were poorly managed. The slippers provided were mismatched—both were for the same foot—making them impossible to use. The room furniture looked old, dirty, and poorly maintained. The only positive thing about this hotel is that it is located near the airport. Apart from the convenient location, I cannot recommend this property. Overall, this hotel did not match its online advertisement, and my experience was extremely disappointing. I hope Trip.com investigates this property so that future guests are not misled by the listing."

"Staying at Vshang Garden Chaosu in their 'Dream Bathtub Room' was a fantastic experience. Upgrading the room type was definitely the smartest move. It's a fully smart home, and the front desk staff went through all the controls for the lights, AC, and hot water before I even entered the room – very thorough! The tea aroma diffuser in the hallway, with its Tieguanyin scent, was so pleasant every time I walked by. During my stay, the butler was not only quick to respond but also helped me avoid several popular attractions that usually have long queues. The bathtub area was cleaned spotlessly every day, and the water pressure was steady with plenty of hot water, leaving me feeling completely relaxed after a soak. The room was tidied up perfectly, and there was an ample supply of bottled water. I took a few photos of the light and shadows around the bathtub, and they looked so atmospheric; my friends even asked where it was. It's definitely a spot worthy of being an Instagram hot spot.
