"Staying at Vshang Garden Chaosu in their 'Dream Bathtub Room' was a fantastic experience. Upgrading the room type was definitely the smartest move. It's a fully smart home, and the front desk staff went through all the controls for the lights, AC, and hot water before I even entered the room – very thorough! The tea aroma diffuser in the hallway, with its Tieguanyin scent, was so pleasant every time I walked by. During my stay, the butler was not only quick to respond but also helped me avoid several popular attractions that usually have long queues. The bathtub area was cleaned spotlessly every day, and the water pressure was steady with plenty of hot water, leaving me feeling completely relaxed after a soak. The room was tidied up perfectly, and there was an ample supply of bottled water. I took a few photos of the light and shadows around the bathtub, and they looked so atmospheric; my friends even asked where it was. It's definitely a spot worthy of being an Instagram hot spot. I'll be staying here again next time I'm in Xiamen."

"The bed in this hotel is absolutely unbearable, it felt like a thin mattress on a hard wooden board. When I asked the staff, they said all the beds were like this. I really hope Trip.com would properly evaluate hotels before assigning star ratings, as I've never slept on such a terrible bed. It's completely inconsistent with what you'd expect from a 5-star hotel. I've stayed in many hotels, and none had a bed like this. On top of that, the hotel facilities are old. There was a constant rumbling sound, like a subway passing by, which I suspect was the air conditioning unit's outdoor compressor vibrating. It wasn't extremely loud, but it felt like it was right next to my ear, and it persisted even after turning off the AC. I barely slept all night. If you have trouble sleeping, do not stay here. This bed is the kind that won't let anyone sleep in; my child woke up before 5 AM! This was the worst experience ever! The rating for this place is definitely too high!"

"I thought this was a decent hotel room. Very close to the airport, taxi ride over there was cheap. The front counter was friendly and processed everything as quickly as possible. However, the hotel construction is cheap. The door to the bathroom was mistaligned and had the potential to hit the door frame; this is a huge problem, since the door is made of glass! And of course sound insulation is poor, I could hear hotel guests loudly talking in the hallway after midnight."

The family twin room we booked wasn't originally designed as such; it was a king room with an additional small bed. The room lighting was generally dim, and the lighting design felt outdated. Many areas had insufficient light, making it inconvenient when organizing luggage or looking for items. Regarding the paid breakfast, the staff service was quite attentive, and the food tasted decent, slightly better than what you'd find at an All Seasons hotel. However, for the price point, the variety of dishes was limited, so the value for money wasn't great. For those planning to book a family twin room, I recommend confirming if it's an original twin room layout before booking, to avoid the modified add-bed rooms.
