II was thoroughly impressed by my stay at Mercure Dongtai Huanghai Forest Park! The hotel is surrounded by lush greenery, creating a peaceful and refreshing atmosphere. The entire property was impeccably clean, making my stay even more enjoyable. What truly stood out was the exceptional service. The staff were warm, friendly, and always ready to help. They went the extra mile by offering assistance proactively—whether guiding me or simply checking in to ensure everything was perfect. Their attentiveness added a personal touch that made me feel truly valued as a guest. I was also deeply impressed by their honesty and efficiency. When I realized I had left an item behind, I called the hotel, and 小徐 (Xiao Xu) at the front desk confirmed within seconds that it had been safely kept. She even arranged for it to be delivered to me the very next day—such outstanding service! Thanks to this wonderful experience, I will definitely choose Mercure hotels again in the future. A heartfelt thank you to the entire team for making my stay so delightful!

強烈推薦向日葵民宿，房間很温馨乾淨，老闆和老闆娘人巨好，感謝老闆帶我去找丹頂鶴，給我介紹附近景點，還有老闆娘做的飯，真像回家了一樣的感覺。環境很温馨，生活用品也很齊全，離保護區很近，性價比超高，以後還會再來玩的

Our stay there was enjoyable. One of our only notes for improvement was about the safe in our room not being ready ahead of time. Luckily the staff assisted in getting a new one, as the one in our room was not working, but they had to go through three broken ones just to find one that worked. Another note would be about the lack of air conditioning in the elevator and hallway. They set front desk in the 4th floor , but put gym and laundry room in the 1st floor where is no air conditioning and no security, the 1st floor is open access to anyone which made me nervous while doing laundry in the might.

Not bad, but the room had a damp musty odor that wasn’t pleasant. It was clean overall. Good breakfast the next morning. We enjoyed our stay in my wife’s hometown of Dongtai.

常年出差在外，全國各地到處跑了十多年，她家是我住過的唯一想找缺點都困難的酒店，比一些連鎖酒店還優秀！衞生十分乾淨，第一次躺在被子有淡淡清香的床上，我能想到這是老闆親自清洗的被褥，因為聞的出來是洗衣粉的香味，一般清洗廠是捨不得用好的洗滌劑的！這也是我唯一能確定確實是一客一換的，時間長就沒有味道了！下次來這裏直接入住，不用選擇了！好評！還有，他家這邊停車位挺多的，入住很方便！而且價格特別便宜，

房間挺大的，還有浴缸能泡澡。每天都會送新鮮水果，吃都吃不完，但還是會每天補充新鮮的，而且種類比較多，蘋果/香蕉/梨子/沃柑都有，而且品質很不錯。早餐很豐富，壽司/甜點/咖啡/中式/西施/涼拌/熱食都有，值得品嚐。這次出差住了幾天，挺好的，空調暖氣非常足。

Yihe Lakeside Homestay – Yancheng is the kind of place that makes you reach for your phone at every turn. Set right by the water, the hotel has a peaceful, poetic atmosphere, with a stunning and highly Instagrammable landscape, especially at sunrise and sunset, when the lake reflects the sky like a mirror. The rooms are clean, and very comfortable, designed for complete relaxation, with large windows that bring nature into the space. A major highlight is the thermal water, perfect for unwinding and recharging, adding an extra layer of wellness to the overall experience. That said, it’s worth noting that the spa and massage services were not available during this period, which may be a drawback for guests specifically seeking those facilities. Overall, Yihe Lakeside Homestay remains an excellent choice for travelers looking for beautiful scenery, a calm retreat, and a truly photogenic stay, where time seems to slow down.

這次入住鹽城大縱湖東晉水城開元酒店，體驗真的超出預期，全程舒心又治癒，酒店就在東晉水城景區內，位置絕佳，出門就是古街、小橋流水，步行可達大縱湖，看夜景、賞水秀、逛宋街都特別方便，景區接駁車也很貼心，停車、入園、遊玩一站式搞定，度假感直接拉滿。整體是南宋風與江南園林結合的建築，隨手拍都是古風大片，環境安靜雅緻，遠離城市喧囂，特別適合放鬆度假。服務更是開元一貫的高水準，一踏入大縱湖開元的大堂，瞬間就被新中式江南格調拿捏了！白牆黛瓦的元素、雅緻的水景綠植、暖柔的燈光搭配，古色古香又不失質感，拍照特別出片。地面一塵不染，傢俱擺件規整有序，空氣裏是淡淡的清雅香氛，沒有雜亂氣味。休息區沙發舒適，等候時前台主動遞上温熱茶水，辦理入住效率超高，工作人員小薛熱情耐心，還會主動告知接駁車、景區演出時間。禮賓主動幫忙提行李，全程微笑不打擾；大堂的景區微縮模型很精緻，背景音樂舒緩不嘈雜，整體氛圍安靜又温馨，完全沒有喧囂感。房間寬敞明亮，新中式風格温馨大氣，床品柔軟舒適，隔音效果好，晚上睡得很安穩。衞生間乾淨整潔，乾濕分離，水壓水温穩定，洗漱用品品質在線，細節做得很到位。部分房間還能看到水景或庭院，視野開闊，空氣清新，住起來非常愜意。遇到問題響應及時、解決到位，工作人員全程禮貌周到，貼心又不打擾，讓人感覺特別温暖。早餐必須重點誇！品類豐富、新鮮美味，中式西式都齊全，熱菜、粥品、麪點、水果、飲品應有盡有，鹽城特色魚湯麪、小餛飩、雞蛋餅、藕粉圓子味道正宗，口感在線，餐枱補菜及時，用餐環境乾淨整潔，服務人員收盤主動，早餐品質完全不輸高端酒店，每天都吃得很滿足。酒店餐飲也很出色，主打淮揚菜與縱湖湖鮮，食材新鮮、口味地道，無論是家庭小聚還是休閑用餐都很合適。配套設施齊全，健身房、小童樂園、書吧、藝術長廊都有，長者小孩都能找到樂趣，親子游、家庭遊、休閑度假都非常適合。整體環境美、服務好、早餐贊、位置便利、性價比高，是大縱湖片區當之無愧的首選酒店。下次來這邊一定還選這裏，真心推薦給所有想來水鄉度假的朋友！

My 2nd time in Dongtai, 1st time in Leida hotel. It looked good on the website. 1st impressions were good. Even though the staff spoke very limited English they checked me in efficiently (I do speak some Chinese but if you don't it's okay). The rooms are a good size and the big picture windows give great views over the public lake/park. the only downside was the faint aroma of stale cigarette smoke in the room but this is China and unfortunately to be expected. The downside was the breakfast was very Chinese and though I love the cuisine here I'm not a lover of Chinese breakfast. It would have been better if the cook knew how to make fried eggs in different styles than just solid yokes and they invested in a good coffee machine. The coffee was in a flask....and was white....I didn't even try the bit I poured into a cup. The positive is Wuyue Plaza is a 10 minute stroll and has a Starbucks and MacDonalds! I had a look at the gym and pool. Gym was 10 yuan, pool was 40. Both looked okay. The hotel grounds needed a bit of a tidy up but were okay. I couldn't find direct access into the lake/park area but then I was only there 2 nights. The big convenience was Wuyue Plaza. The top floor was restaurants. A decent selection. Towards the back on the outside walking street was a decent little bar (Black Vine). Nice manager, 8 craft beer taps, lots of bottled beer. Yes, I'd stay here again as it suited my purpose.
