"Best I can say is,it is somewhere to lay your head for the night.It is perfect if you or a family member have a flight from Newcastle as long as youre not concerned about cleanliness.the bath and toilet weren't the cleanest with the tile grouting being full of dark spots.The decor is dated in this hotel dark and tired looking really needs a freshen up.Staff look and act like they dont want to be there,not the friendliest hotel staff I've encountered."

"The hotel staff were very friendly & very attentive, which was lovely. I was upgraded to a suite, which was nice to have a lot of space.
The shower pressure was great and the room & bathroom was very clean. The bed was very lumpy/had a dip in it, so unfortunately, wasn't the best night's sleep and I woke up with a bad back, but this may have just been the room I was in.
The breakfast in the morning was average compared to other breakfast buffet's I have had in hotels recently but the atmosphere was very chilled.
For a one night stay, the hotel did the job."

"The staff at the hotel was very friendly. As we booked quite close to our actual trip date we didn't get a great room. Our room was at the end of the hallway next to the staff elevator. unfortunately, the door to that elevator was open half the time we were there with food scraps waiting to be taken away out in the open area. This led to ”food smells” being wafted into our room. we had to open the window the moment we entered our room because of the stuffy smell but once the window was open and there was ventilation, everything was fine."

"On the day of check in I arrived early because I had an early train and I had nowhere to go, it was rainy and cold. It was nice that people answered the bell and collected my luggage, but they didn't let me stay on the common area because it was early, so don't count with early check in even if you contact them previously or you can pay £25 for it, no flexibility at all.
The cleaning was fantastic and amazing no-smoking area, really rare in the UK, most places people don't respect the law. Lovely common area with complimentary coffee, tea, milk, biscuits, bread, fruits, etc. The staff is very kind and concerned to provide the best!
I had an extra heater in the room that was really useful as it was freezing cold."

"Need to take note whether the booking is for the County Hotel or the County Aparthotel. It wasn’t clear when we booked it. The County Hotel is better located but the Aparthotel is further away from the train station. The Aparthotel room that we stayed in was big but it was slightly older - the bed was very well used and had little support. But overall, the room was still okay, not the best."

"We had a great stay at the hotel, right in the center of Newcastle. The location was perfect for easily reaching everything in the city. The room was warm, clean, and comfortable, making our stay enjoyable. Unfortunately, the swimming pool wasn’t working last night, and the hot tub wasn’t quite warm enough, but aside from that, everything else was excellent. Overall, it was a great experience, and we’d definitely stay here again."

"Hotel very good location on the quay side, good selection of foods the décor of the hotel not to my taste dark grey and black room choice best if you can get room facing the quay side only problem I had was wet shaving in the bathroom cannot get close to mirror / poor lighting ( you need to use electric shaver )."

MMisafir KullanıcıHotel is located conveniently next to the river. We had received a very warm welcome by the hotel staff. The room is fully equipped with basic cooking amenities. Just wish to give our special gratitude to the guy welcoming at the front desk, he has granted us everything we need and is super caring to guests. We'll definitely choose this hotel if we travel to this part of the country again.

TTraveler in JapanVery well located in the heart of Newcastle. The service was excellent. The gym was small but for everything I needed.
Breakfast is on the pricey side, but very generous. In addition to the buffet, there’s a wide selection of freshly prepared dishes. If you’re a meat lover, the full English breakfast is definitely worth trying.
The rooms are decent, though for this price point, you might expect a bit more luxury.

Bar was closed early, bathrooms were good but grouting was a little under kept and my biggest disappointment was breakfast. Took nearly 40mins for an eggs Benedict. Was a bit disappointed with that due to the amount I spent on rooms. Sorry for the critical feedback, other than those few bits. Parking was easy, check in time great, staff good.

AAnjeliThe staff was super kind and helpful! They helped us check-in early and ALSO check-out later with no issue whatsoever!
We also had an issue with the electricity in our room and, after explaining them the situation, they very promptly gave us another room so we could get ready for our event! Not only, in the end there was no need for another room because they rapidly fixed the issue!
Would 100% recommend! The location was also great for both short Uber trips and short walking based on what you prefer/need!

MMisafir KullanıcıVery good hotel with very kind staff, everything was clean. Staff provided everything. They also have free hot water on the first floor, people can make a hot tea or coffee there. And there is also bar with snacks and cold drinks. Only thing that can be improved is bathroom, I think there should be separate bathroom for each room. I think it is not related to each room, but only for very affordable rooms. Overall, it is good hotel and I recommend it.

The downstairs is a massive loud bar, very popular with young folk. But upstairs, in the hotel rooms, you hear the noise less, and bar closes at 11pm.
Hotel is rather shabby, but rooms are fine and have what you need. There’s a £50 deposit against damage. Staff were brilliant, really nice. Basic breakfast in a bag, as part of price, was unexpected bonus… or you can pay extra for cooked. Not a slap up luxury hotel, but fine for a basic stay over. I’d use it again.
