"They actually provide toothbrushes and toothpaste although the booking says they don’t. A great location to go up Mount bromo. The rooms aren’t that clean though; there are little bugs and mold on some of the corners but it isn’t a big deal."

"This was a nice place to stay but it should be made clear that this hotel is BEYOND the National park checkpoint and not before it, therefore the fee is payable as you arrive. We only visited the Bromo viewpoint, not the crater, so shouldn’t have had to pay the National park fee, but because this hotel is beyond the check point, it means you have to, so hotel should only really be used if plan to go to the crater but for someone who only plans to go to the viewpoint for sunrise, it is not the best location for this due to the National park fee. But other than this, the lodge was clean and had a restaurant and was relatively easy to navigate to the viewpoint from here"

"We recently stayed at this hotel and had a mixed experience. While there were definitely some highlights, there were also a few disappointing aspects that affected our overall stay. One of the standout positives was the friendly and welcoming staff. Everyone we interacted with was polite, helpful, and made an effort to ensure we were comfortable. The overall service was good, and the team seemed genuinely eager to assist. The food at the hotel’s restaurant was excellent. Every meal we had was delicious, however, we encountered an issue with breakfast. Due to unexpected traffic, we arrived late. We asked if some food could be set aside for us, as we had prepaid for breakfast. Unfortunately, we were told that this request should have been made the night before, which was disappointing and left us feeling a bit let down. The room itself was smaller than it appeared in the photos online, and we were surprised to find that there was no heating or cooling system—just a fan. Additionally, there were old stains on the bedding, which gave a less-than-ideal first impression. The hotel has a great view from the top, but unfortunately, the weather didn’t cooperate during our stay, so we weren’t able to fully enjoy it. Overall, the hotel has potential, with friendly staff and great food, but there are areas that need improvement."
