Review of Onna Resort, Okinawa About me: I’m a frequent flyer to Japan and a long-time fan of staying at villas and resorts across the country. I enjoy discovering different accommodations across Japan. This time, I chose Onna Resort for a relaxing group trip. ⸻ 👍 What I liked: • Spacious resort– Very roomy and comfortable, easily fits 7–8 people. Perfect for families or groups of friends. • Clean and well-maintained – The entire resort was spotless and felt well cared for. • View exactly as shown in photos – Stunning ocean view that matches the listing. Great for enjoying sunrise and sunset. • Beach nearby – A beach is within walking distance. While it may not be the best in Okinawa, it’s still nice for a stroll or quick swim. • Washer and dryer setup – Includes both a washer-dryer combo and a separate dryer, which is especially handy for drying towels and clothes after swimming. • Well-equipped kitchen – Good selection of cookware and appliances for preparing meals. • Private and quiet surroundings – Peaceful setting with no disturbance from other guests. ⸻ 👎 What could be improved: • Inconsistent check-in information – The email offered early check-in, and a staff member via video call said I could check in at 2pm. But when I arrived, another staff said it was 3pm. This communication gap should be addressed. • Missing basic items – No cups or glasses were provided, obviously an oversight by the cleaning staff. • Limited towel supply – Towels are provided strictly based on headcount. Given the proximity to the beach, it would be more convenient to offer a few extra towels without needing to ask. • Limited Coffee Supply - The resort provides coffee bags based on headcount as well, which was insufficient for guests who consume two or three cups daily. A more generous and considerate coffee supply would enhance the experience. • Insufficient tableware – Only two large plates were provided. It would be more practical to include additional small dishes, rice bowls, and condiment plates (e.g. for soy sauce or wasabi), especially for guests who plan to cook. • Lack of basic cooking ingredients – It would be helpful if staple items like cooking oil, salt, and pepper were provided to make meal preparation more convenient. • No power outlets near beds – Most sockets were located low on the wall and away from sleeping areas, making it inconvenient to charge phones or devices overnight. • Weak Wi-Fi signal in places – Internet connection was spotty in some areas of the villa, although it offers several wifi spots within the resort, but still weak

It’s a little tired.  Wanted high floor tick, no- smoking room - hotel has no smoking policy but every time I walked into room it smelt of smoke.  I had to open the balcony door which was a bonus and could sit outside.   Like the Bluetooth speaker so cool.  Bed was huge but two beds pushed together.  Plenty of amenities and two breakfast restaurants but had to get up at 7am for the Japanese one (when it opened ) to get a table there.  Felt it was probably a priority for locals as limited to 100 guests!   Interesting western breakfast in other restaurant of burgers/ doughnuts / curry/ spam and egg rolls etc- v American.  Great beverage variety there.  Parking for stay $1k yen is good.

Very clean and tidy house, there is everything you need both kitchen utensils and laundry. Easy to access, smooth CHK in and CHK out. Definitely come here again if we have a chance.

The check in process could be improved. The establishment replied on two self service terminals for users to check in. The issue was that the system interface may not be fully tuned to meet the size of the screen. There was this page where user was required to scroll down inorder to click the next button, the thing is it was not clearly visible and we were stuck. Fortunately, the staff came over to assist

Gostei bem localizado tem bastantes izakayas por perto para comer gostoso e se divertir ☺️e apartamento bom

The hotel was a value for its price and location. Extremely close to many convenience stores and local chain restaurant drive-thrus, walkable distance so that’s great. The staffs were all very friendly and helpful, amenities were provided and good to use. The room size was decent sized. The only thing to complain about is the mouldy smell of the room and how worn out the room and facilities are.

İmkanlar boldu ve oda küçüktü ama uzun süre kalmadığım için rahattı. Yakınlarında marketler ve restoranlar var, denize de çok yakın, bu yüzden çok rahattı! Kahvaltı ücretsiz olduğu için çok fazla çeşitlilik olmayacağını düşünmüştüm ama tipik Okinawa yemekleri ve hatta pirinç lapası bile vardı, bu yüzden çok memnun kaldım. İnamuduchi adlı çorba çok lezzetliydi! ! Soğuk bir mevsimdi, bu yüzden açık hava banyosuna giremedim ama hava ısındığında girebilmenin güzel olacağını düşünüyorum. çok teşekkür ederim!

部屋は清潔でよかったです。 マンションのお部屋みたいな感じで、キッチン、トイレとお風呂が別で、洗濯機も付いていたのでとても助かりました！ 部屋に使い捨てのスリッパがあればよりよかったと思いました。 一階にはアイス屋さんが入っていて、美味しそうでした。

It’s more of a apartment than a hotel, so don’t expect room service. The reception has only one person, an old man that is probably the owner, you need to call when you arrive, but he is usually at the back of the entrance. It has a lot of cats around, but don’t feed, someone else is taking care of them
