"Отель просто шикарный! К сожалению, остановились всего на одну ночь, но впечатлений хватит надолго. Заселили нас даже чуть раньше, что было очень приятно. Ужин оказался сытным и вкусным, а завтрак — необычным, с национальными особенностями. В целом сам отель удивил своей атмосферой — это настоящее погружение в японскую культуру. Очень уютное, стильное и необычное место. Хотелось бы вернуться ещё!"

"A very authentic Japanese experience! Plus I booked a kaiseki dinner, which was delicious and unusual for a European person. The food was very fresh and beautifully served.

Kanian is an 6 minutes walk from Kinosaki station.It's a small and homey Japanese-style inn.We offer safe and natural meals.
"I stayed here for one night with my husband and our 9-year-old daughter, and we loved our visit. The hotel was accommodating and allowed us to store our luggage as we arrived early. Our room was very clean, the staff were attentive, and we could tell they wanted us to have a nice stay. The location was perfect - set back on a quiet street but right in the middle of all the onsens and shopping. We opted for the crab dinner, and it was an absolute feast. We ate for hours and still couldn't finish everything. They asked if we wanted to keep it for breakfast (which, of course, we did), so they served it in the morning along with the breakfast they planned. It was wonderful. They have a small onsen in the building, which was nice because the three of us could enjoy one bath together before going to the gender-separated onsens in town. I highly recommend staying here for a lovely and authentic Japanese experience."

Elevators should have hand rail or / and a seat inside the lift to allow older adults to hold on or in case of fainting occur !
There should be towels inside the spa area instead of asking customers to bring along the towel to & back to room ! There should be towels available inside the spa area !
The free transportation starting from 4 o’clock till 9:30 is good but it would be better if the free transportation can start a little bit earlier say I’m 12

"Great ryokan, the staff are incredibly kind. They will take good care of you. They have a private onsen, which is a plus. The rooms are large, clean, and traditional. You can still have a Western-style bed if you prefer. Very well located, very close to the train station so you can quickly drop off your luggage. They provide a yukata, geta, and an unlimited pass so you can enjoy the onsen as much as you like."

MMisafir KullanıcıNice, modern and new hotel in Kinosaki onsen with great hospitality from the hotel owner and his staff. I was welcomed by the owner at the door when I arrived, and they even prepared a beautiful greeting card on my arrival. Welcome drink was provided and the owner recommended good restaurants and provided the USP of each onsen in Kinosaki. The room is spacious, clean and new! I especially like the Japanese style of the hotel. Yutaka and 1-day onsen pass were provided for my stay. As the next day I had to move to another hotel, the owner very kindly helped me to transport my luggage to another hotel near the JR station.
Overall, excellent stay, excellent people and excellent breakfast! :)
Would love to visit Kinosaki onsen again and stay with Utsuroi Tsuchiya.

11850216****老牌温泉酒店，在稍微裏面一點，不過非常安靜。門口還有賣松葉蟹可以打9折，可以打包快遞。
不得不誇一下酒店的蟹料理晚餐，水準非常高，連甜品都在線，已經吃的很飽很飽，但是因為太好吃了，最後把米飯和pasta都吃完了，酒水性價比也很高，松葉蟹季節值得住一次。湯泉有好幾個，有預約的，也是空閑就能去的私湯也有公湯，泡個湯放鬆一下很舒服。

YYuliaDJrIt's a lovely hotel in traditional Japanese style. It has a pretty inside garden and an onsen (no private onsens for booking, only common ones for all hotel guests that are divided for males and females). Hotel provides you with a yukata and a haori for your stay (you don't rent it, they are included in price), which is very convenient. When I asked the receptionist if I can buy them, 'cause I loved them so much, she said I can take them for free if I want. I double checked to avoid any miscommunication, but she insisted that I don't have to pay extra for those. Everything in the fridge, including alcohol, is free. Hotel is a bit far from the main street, but has a transfer, so I'd say it's fine. We ordered a dinner and breakfast, and both were absolutely wonderful, had several courses.

MM.Sim007Service quality of the staffs are 10/10. All staffs are attentive and multi tasking, they are reception, cooks (breakfast) concierge and house keeping. We stayed for two nights in a quadruple room facing the river, huge size and comfortable beds. Night was quiet and dont hear any foot steps though it is a building erected on old structure. Breakfast is typical Japanese ryokan style breakfast of excellent presentation and quality. Recommended for couples with no children and nit suitable for elderly or disabled, need to climb up 3 storeys if stayingnin the 3rd flood. Location is 10/10, 10mins by foot to JR station and 20 mins walk to the ropeway with shops along the way. Highly recommended!

MMisafir Kullanıcı離城崎車站不遠，10分鐘內可達，唯一䞦市左邊橫街行100m見到；有各式浴衣選擇穿上逛街(近望+摸上舊及褪式，和有些旅館一致風格(背心外套相襯有落差)。鈑店始終內裡陳舊，居然這年代會欠缺usb插頭，二泊-宿晚餐普通，少少蟹脚(不夠新鮮)，刺身魚肉居然有筋，反而街口刺身鋪餐廳平又鮮美！其寶房內吃ta tami吸入味道，睡覺也是有肉味充斥。又發現日本尤其這裡也聘請多外勞，妹妹稱由越南來了10個月，笑容滿面，仍然有空間改進服。.

Not foreigner ( Western & Asian) friendly. We travelled around 70 Roykan in the last 3 years and this is the wrost service we ever had. Japanese get to seat and offered juices when they checked in while we have to stand at the front desk and no juice offered. We asked for the yukata rental (free rental) and the young staff just ignore us twice. We asked for sizes a few times then he just said it’s all here. Then when we picking the only two small sizes he grabbed and give it to the Japanese girl and ignore us or never ask us before he took it as he knows we are looking into those. Very rude.
Most of ryokan will bring you to the room or assist to bring luggage or already put in the room for you. This one you do everything yourself after check in.
When we get into the hotel room it’s hot as no aircon is on. Then air con is broken so we called reception. With their broken English they insisted I don’t know how to turn on the aircon which I told them the air con is broken, after 15mins on the phone showing me how to on I keep telling them to send the staff up as we are so hot in the room as it’s summer and no window open and no fan was on after moving luggage. They came up and fix the air con for 45mins then told us it’s broken and need to change room. The whole hour we were sweating but no offer of water / drinks or anything and we just stand in the room while they fixing. When they decided the room need to be changed, they asked us to wait downstairs but leave the luggage in the room so we thought they will move luggage to the new room but they did not. Staff see us so hot at lobby didn’t tell us there is free drinking machine that we can get ice juices , they just watch us hot and sweat and not saying a word. When the new room is finished, they gave us the new room key and asked us to move the luggage ourself and return the old key. No help at all and wasted 1.5 hours of our onsen time. No apologies as well. I feel like being treated like a trash. Not enjoyable at all.
I paid extra for the sea view room which when they change my room they offered a slightly bigger room but my sea view was mostly blocked (in the pic )which I am not so happy.
There is amenities corner at the lobby, at night after the onsen we come back and want to take the lotion as early on it was gone and they didn’t replenish, the female staff have a bad attitude and flip her eyes ask us which room we stayed, we showed her the key and she said the cream is already in the room which her broken English. There is one set in the room but those are small one time pack which we finish after we had the onsen so we want to take another one. She was rude and insist we can’t take. Her attitude was so bad seems like we are stealing. There is an amenities cornor, if you not allowing guest to take please do not have this setup.
Food is okay with the buffet. Wagyu beef is nice but they is a normal standard for Japanese onsen buffet nothing too special.
Overall, with the price paying compare to other roykan in Japan, this hotel have very bad service to non Japanese. There is also nothing special for this onsen. Probably best to try somewhere else.

Сервис и вежливость персонала поражает, красота внутреннего пространства отеля и дворика! Поразительной красоты Онсен при отеле, все продумано до мельчайших деталей! Номера в отеле очень аутентичные, как и все в целом, а шведский стол на завтрак шикарный! Также трансфер продуман и конечно юката просто чудесная и на любой размер! Говорить могу вечно о том какое же удовольствие я получила! Благодарю!

LLivyC75The ryokan style rooms were a lovely touch. The inclusive dinner came with so many courses that we were absolutely stuffed every single night and the fact that a member of staff helps explain all the dishes and prepares them in front of us felt like a real lovely touch of authenticity and luxury. There are no individual bathrooms in the rooms aside from a sink and toilet but the hotel Onsen is easy to access and comfortable to use. The staff also make the bed after dinner every night and anytime we had questions for reception, they were always happy to help, especially with train station transfer and recommendations and vouchers for different restaurants in town. The hotel rooms have a great view of the mountains as it is slightly off the main road. I would definitely recommend this for couples traveling.

MMisafir KullanıcıUpon arrival, the hotel gave us 2 free tickets for aquarium next to the hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful with parking valet and our luggage. The room we were in had an amazing view and it is spacious. It’s a Japanese style room and the staff had to come to put out futon for us around dinner time. Communal bath is big with an outdoor onsen. We noticed that they use salt water in the bath and onsen instead of chlorinated water like many other onsen hotel we have stayed in the past. There are 2 restaurants in the hotel but they open rather late at 7 and 8 pm so we didn’t get to try them. Breakfast were the same the whole we stay but they are pretty decent so there is no complaints. I would consider this to be one of the best hotel we have stayed during our trip there.
