Omgosh ... hotel was really nice! Breakfast was excellent and it lasted til 11a, which is pretty awesome for those that like to sleep late. So many options (hot, cold and dry). They offer bacon, sausage, scrambled/cold boiled eggs and breakfast potatoes. Whole fruit (apples and bananas), sliced fruit (melons and pineapples). Cold and hot cereal (oatmeal). Yogurt and granola. You can make your own waffles or pancakes (such a cool machine). Make your own toast and/or select from many pastries or muffins available. So many options! You can even place an order vs. eating from the buffet. They also allow carry-out and to-go boxes. Drink options at the buffet include: coffee, O.J. and apple juice. PLEASE NOTE: There's a separate fee for breakfast if not selected when booking. Having said this, the hotel does not have microwaves in the room, just a fridge. There are microwaves located on each floor though (along w/ vending machines -both are in same location). Our room was spotless and absolutely spacious (no deviation from website)! We arrived way beyond check-in and did call once we knew we'd arrive later than expected. Spoke with front desk staff who assured everything would be OK, only to arrive and find that our room (which was already paid in full) had been given away. The hotel was only able to provide us a King and a rollaway bed. Of course we were disappointed, but the next morning the hotel Mgr. made everything right. Having said that, the rollaway bed is THE HARDEST THING EVER. We bring our own everything (e.g. bedding, cleaning supplies, etc.) so we were able to make it work and make it comfortable. So much so, we'd chosen to not to be moved to the room we'd originally booked. It rained our entire stay which is what caused us to arrive late in the first place (that's a whole 'notha story). Anyway, the hotel had a few small trash bins about the lobby catching leaks here and there, but that didn't stop anything. I barely even noticed. Had I not been recording how beautiful the hotel was inside, I would've never noticed. Parking is $30/day, it's NYC what do you expect? 🤭 There's also parking on the street if you can get spot. Careful though, NYC parking signs can cause confusion for those not familiar with the City's play on words. All in all, this was great stay for us and I'd certainly stay again. Oh, I forgot to mention -I did! Yes, I extended our stay another night because the hotel and location was exceptional! p.s. they also offer a seated bar area. Overall: 10/10✨️

The hotel is in a very good location. Alexandra was so nice that she gave us a complimentary breakfast and accommodated us even before our check in time. It was a good experience. Although breakfast has a lack of food variety, it was good.

I would like to compliment Ms. Mariam Ibrahim for her outstanding and courteous service during my check-in at the New York Marriott Downtown. From the very first moment, her warm and cheerful personality made me feel right at home. She kindly suggested an upgrade to the 38th floor with access to the Executive Lounge at a very reasonable charge—a memorable experience for my family, as we had never stayed so high before. The view from the room was truly breathtaking, and even from the lounge we could see the Statue of Liberty, which made our stay even more special. Ms. Mariam’s professionalism, kindness, and positive attitude reflect the true spirit of hospitality. She is definitely well-suited as a frontliner, and her service made our stay an unforgettable one.

Orada yaklaşık bir hafta kaldım. Otel personelinin hizmetinin çok iyi olmadığını düşündüm, ancak asgari düzeyde bir hizmet sağladılar. 4 günlük rezervasyonu internetten yaptık ve 4. gün otel resepsiyonunda 2 gün daha uzattık, toplam 6 gece (yerinde uzatmak çok pahalı, resmi web sitesi fiyatı) ve ilk oda çok alçak olduğu ve manzarası olmadığı için bu süre zarfında bir kez oda değiştirdik. Tesisler basit, terlik ve pijama yok, ayrıca birçok Amerikan otelinde bunların bulunmadığını da söylememe gerek yok. İkinci odadaki yatağın altındaki atmosfer ışığı bozuk, gardırop kapısı deforme olmuş ve kapatılamıyor ve sağ dolap kapısı açıldığında üstteki yükseltilmiş havalandırma deliğine çarpıyor. Sadece yaklaşık 60 dereceye kadar açılabiliyor ve tam olarak açılamıyor. Musluk belli ki kısa ve kullanımı zor. Bunların hepsi tasarım ve yapımda yapılan, aşırı hatalar. Bir gece sabah 1:30'da odadaki yangın alarmı yangın olduğunu söyledi. Dört kez yayınladıktan sonra hepimiz kaçmayı planlıyorduk ve yayın sorun olmadığını söyledi. Alarm bip sesi ve yayın yüksekti. Yan dairedeki beyaz kız, mümkün olan en kısa sürede personeli bulmaya gittiğini ancak kimsenin olmadığını söyledi, bu da çok saçmaydı. Personel çok yakışıklı. It was a really great experience while I was staying there. The food was so nice, and everyone I met at the hotel was so kind.

Hotel is in an excellent location but checking in was a nightmare had to queue for over an hour. The lift system is atrocious. The system gives you a lift for your floor and then allocates that lift to everyone else. It takes ages for it to come and then everyone cannot get into the one lift and you start all over again. Could be waiting 30 mins plus for a lift. Everyone complaining about the lifts and sating that it’s the worst hotel because of it.

This new hotel was amazing. From the views at the roof to the comfy bed, I 100% recommend this spot. Excellent location and the staff was fantastic.

Location: The location is excellent — right in the heart of the Financial District. Super convenient if you're looking to explore lower Manhattan or have business nearby. Facilities: Facilities are quite basic. Don’t expect much beyond the essentials — the room only came with shower gel and shampoo. No frills, no extras. Service: Service leaves much to be desired. On two occasions, my room wasn’t made until around 6pm — despite me being out from 8am. It was frustrating to come back after a full day and have to wait in the lobby while housekeeping did their rounds. There’s definitely room for improvement when it comes to consistency and timing in room servicing. Front Desk: Hit or miss. Service ranged from great to below average depending on who was working. The standout was the gentleman who checked us in during the night — polite, efficient, and welcoming. Others... not quite the same experience. Overall: Great location, but very limited amenities and inconsistent service. Would only recommend if you're prioritizing location over comfort and service.
