"My stay in Dalat was incredible! Our boutique hotel featured stunning valley views and a cozy, rustic charm that felt like home. We spent our days strolling around Xuan Huong Lake and riding the thrilling Datanla Alpine Coaster. The food was a major highlight—the Banh mi xiu mai is a must-try breakfast, and the Lau ga la e (chicken hotpot) was perfect for the chilly evenings. A truly refreshing mountain getaway!"

"The front desk attendants were cold and unwelcoming. The rest of the employees like the bag carriers were always helpful when welcoming. Not forgetting the cleaners. I hope they receive a bonus.
The hotel food was terrible, especially at breakfast. Mass produced and no quality.
Overall an ok stay for a few days."

"A lovely hotel in a good location. Close to the night market and restaurants and places to visit like the waterfalls. There is also a gym down the road that is 100VND for a visit. You can buy water, beer and soft drinks from reception and they also do moped rental. Would recommend."

"Nice hotel, generally within 500 meter radius you can find everything, from cafes to pubs to the night market & shops. Breakfast is generous. Staff are very polite, helpful & friendly. It's a tourist hotel so be prepared for noises & loud conversations . Not the hotel fault, just the guests.
We had a room next to the lift & we didn't get to sleep due to the noises from guests talking & laughing & hauling luggage. Also sounds from the streets till wee hours because the window is not soundproof. So do ask for room that's away from the lift area & not facing the street. Everything else is fine."

"I had very high expectations but got quite irritated by front desk demanding to see my Visa. I told them that I entered legally and they are not immigration. This really bothered me as none of the hotels every asked such bureaucratic and annoying question. Worse than in China.
Room 101 seems the worst, has a window with a curtain facing the public area and sure enough before 8 am some staff needed to clip dead leaves while I had no privacy.
Mosquitoes disrupted my sleep as well as relentless guest noises from the elevator at 5am, poor sound insulation.
Breakfast was outstanding with an incredible selection of culinary delights.
Well done,
The rest of the stay was absolutely wonderful, fruits and coffee machine in the modern and tastefully appointed room made up for some of the frustrations.
Please stop the irritating visa question, it spoiled my mood considerably. I would have otherwise given a perfect score."

"Hotel staffs are very friendly and helpful. Especially, the young man (I forgot his name). We asked him to recommend pho shop. He walked us there personally though quite a distance. When we came back during raining days, he always rush out to us with umbrella to shelter us."

"Stayed 4 nights. Good location, away from the hustle and bustle of the night market area yet just a short, leisurely 10 min walk away in cool weather. Comfortable bed and big room and good housekeeping. Room was well-cleaned each day. Reception staff were conversant in English and answered all our queries about the shops in the vicinity well. Also like to commend Mui the security personnel at the hotel entrance for his cheerfulness and helpfulness. Would highly recommend this hotel."

Our room had no AC but we had no issues at all during our stay because it was always so cold.
Need to keep windows open when showering with hot water as no ventilation exists.

AAnonim KullanıcıWe had a very comfortable stay in Da Lat Eco Hotel. The front desk staff was very kind and friendly. He helped us check in early. There were two properties at the hotel and we stayed in Eco 2. The room was spacious with a tiny balcony that was connected to the room next to ours. We didn't use the balcony a lot because the property acrossed the street was renovating and there were dust. The facilities that comes with the room were good, though I'd suggest the hotel to change the sheets and linens because there were old stains on them. I personally liked the hotel location. It was a little far away from the night market, but it was close to the Crazy House and Dinh Bao Dai. For taxi, I'd suggest using Lado that could easily take you to the city center and the train station. Also there was a restaurant opposite to the hotel that served chicken. We didn't try it but there was always a line from the local people. I would especially like to thank the front desk staff. Days before we arrived, we received a message reminding that there might be noise due to the New Year (our stay was great even with some noises). When we were there, they kindly offer us free bananas, candy, artichoke tea, and coffee. You can also buy the tea and coffe from the staff directly. Highly recommend the artichoke tea! It's Da Lat specialty and must-try and it tastes amazing. I never thought that artichoke could be made into tea!

It’s true that the last time we stayed at the Dalat Heritage Hotel was years back. It had a different name then too, when it was, we believe, under a different management. The place was beautiful, with vanished wooden floors, beds with canopies and bath tubs on steady golden legs. Golden taps and fresh looking bathroom tiles. Most importantly, it was clean, the cushioned chairs felt firmed, the rooms & bathrooms brightly lit. It was an equivalent if not better than the Raffles in Spore.
We decided in our latest trip to stay at the now Dalat Heritage Hotel for two nights, 23 & 24 July 2025 . We learnt that it had changed hands and while we expected it to have aged, we thought most hotel managements, would have done some upgrade, some renovation some replacements of essentials.
Sad to say, our stay was a tremendous let down. I’m trying not to use the adjectives “traumatising experience” and will not offer photos, so that the hotel has an opportunity to spruce it up and bring it to its former glory. The property has too much potential & history to be abandoned by visitors to Dalat.
We stepped into a an old, tired looking lobby. Waited a long time to register and was told to expect welcoming drinks which never came. We girls had to use the “ladies. ” another disappointment. It was old, the flush was a pull up lever which almost didn’t work. The taps were tarnished.
We finally got into our rooms. The floors were scratched, not quite the varnish, but we thought, it’s ok, a little authenticity, somethings must age. The beds still had its canopy, but the linens looked worn, tired. The little table with its two cushion chairs were well placed, but the cushions were totally worn, we could feel the base of the seat. There was a dressing table, thoughtful… but then there was no light for any lady, vain or otherwise, to apply her war paint. The room was badly lit, no extra lights at the dressing table or anywhere. The stand alone cupboards were large, but dark as well. I almost missed the black hair dryer kept in there, and we couldn’t find the room slippers and had to ask for help to locate it in the cupboards.
The most disappointing was the bathroom. It was badly lit as well. The taps were all tarnished and without my glasses, I could see the bits of mould growing around the base of the tap. There was also limescale deposits. The floor tiles were badly worn, and I wish I could say it gave the bathroom a feel of the grandeur of yesterday years ageing gracefully, but hygiene is too important here to do so. The highlight was when we took a shower and stepped into the bathtub supported by “stone legs.” It wobbled continuously and made such a lot of noise that kept the user on edge. Then, we saw it all, the grouting of the wall tiles were caked with black moulds. To top it all, the bathroom had a stench of clogged pipes. It stayed with us like a faithful friend that won’t leave even if we tried pushing him out the door!! Did I mention the mosquitoes that bunked in with us? They bit my friend on the face & eye lid which swelled for 2 days. In the mornings, they sounded the wake up calls around our faces. If it had been possible, we would have cancelled the wake up calls.
Breakfast was good. There was a good spread and the chefs behind the counters were friendly and all smiles. However much could be done to train the waitresses, who hid in corners. I asked one of them where the toaster for the bread was, she said there was none. I found it on the second morning. It was there all along. I guess her English needs polishing.
Luckily, the porters were friendly and quite quick with umbrellas as it rained the whole 2 days we were there.
On the whole, the hotel had a handful of local guests while we were there. I hope they chip in, in encouraging the hotel to relook at its offerings. We would really like to go back, but perhaps, only if someone wrote a review that says otherwise.

AAwilumThe hotel has a very convenient location. The rooms are clean and bright, with large windows. In my room, the window faced the sunset, and the sunlight warmed the room throughout the day. This made the room pleasantly warm, even in the evening. It was nice to return to a warm room after a long day, thanks to both the sunlight and the view of a beautiful sunset.
The placement of power outlets was convenient, and the room included a kettle, which allowed me to make tea easily. The hot shower was also a plus. The parking area was secure, closed, underground, and very spacious—perfect for both bikes and cars. Overall, the hotel gave me a sense of safety and coziness.
However, there was one downside I encountered. The bathroom was extremely small, and the shower kept flooding the room. On the first day, I reported this issue to the staff. They responded promptly by wiping the floor with dry towels and removing the water. Unfortunately, the problem persisted. The next day, I asked them to fix it again, and they removed the floor filter, which was blocking the water drainage. While this improved the situation, it did not completely resolve the issue. It seems the shower area wasn’t adequately sealed, as water continued to seep out into the room. This made it impossible to take a long shower, limiting me to very short ones.
Despite this, my overall impression of the hotel is positive.

BBacon22Beautiful hotel. It was a second time to stay.
All interiors are antique and building is made by brick and woods so great atmosphere.
wifi, location, Staff and breakfast is all great.
