"Excellent value hotel, comfortable, clean, good location with restaurants nearby, not central but perfect for my needs. I was travelling solo on motorcycle trip, perfect for my needs. Breakfast was good value too."

"This hotel is well situated for visiting Pau and has good parking. However the rooms are much smaller than the usual Ibis rooms so I wouldn’t want to stay for more than one night. The sink is in the room as the bathroom is so small. That said the room was spotlessly clean and the bed comfortable. Breakfast was good, though the staff seemed overstretched so the buffet wasn’t replenished regularly."

"The hotel is poorly maintained and the staff is very unfriendly. Upon arrival, I reported a leak in my bathroom, but nothing was done except give me a towel to mop up the water. Breakfast is very meager and served in the hotel's basement, which has a very unpleasant musty smell. There were stains on my sheets when I arrived. I do not recommend this hotel if you are looking for a warm, welcoming, and above all, clean place."

"Very bad experience. I had to wait 30 minutes without news before having the access codes to go home. The hotel was empty. There was a cigarette smell in the room and the Wi-Fi didn't work. I had a little bit of waste water in the washing room that was closed, and the foot of the washing room was run away in the shower room that was next to it. The hotel was very comfortable and very comfortable. I had no proposal to change the room and my conversator hang me up to the nose. I went to go and sleep in another hotel at my expense. Now the Hotel Montilleul doesn't want to reimburse me. I strongly disadvise this place that is unhealthy and unsafe."
