This is our 3rd visit to Yangshuo and our first time to try this hotel. The staff are amazing. Attentive and customer focused. From before we arrived they were already keeping in touch with us to ensure we could get to them smoothly. On arrival they put a lot of effort into ensuring we had all the help we needed and knew all the local an activities and attractions. Day by day they kept us updated with events. The hotel offers free shuttle between Yangshuo walking streets and their establishment which is very convenient. You must book in advance. There are activities every afternoon engaging art and craft for both kids and adults. Very fun. From 9pm there are free noodles served in the main dining area. Many guests enjoy this and take advantage. Definitely a great addition since you cannot get deliveries being this far away from town. The room we booked was the 2 bedroom cloud residence. An amazing room.This is incredibly big and spacious with a king bed in the main living room area shielded off by a curtain where one of our kids slept. The main bedroom is massive and has the circular bed in the middle. A rollaway double bed was also setup in here for our little one and this worked out fine. There is an outdoor patio with a staircase that goes up to the roof with 360° panoramic views of the area - you cannot beat this view in other hotels nearby. We found the room was very cold at night as the central heating was only blowing cold air. So we turned it off and it was slightly more bearable. I would have given 5 starts if the heating worked better. Apart from this the Julong Town Resort Hotel is amazing. Giving a better service and attention level than many of this big name establishments.

Шикарное обслуживание, шикарные завтраки, шикарные номер. Завтраки вкусные, виды из номеров прекрасные. Мы получили эстетическое наслаждение, обслуживание отеля вежливое и щедрое. Много комплиментов и подарков. Рекомендую. Нюанс это все таки сельская местность поэтому звуки домашних птиц и животных есть, но нам не мешало.

We had an amazing stay here and would highly recommend it to everyone. The owner was the most amazing and kind person, he took great care of us, constantly checking that everything was okay and explaining everything in detail! He also answered all our questions and helped make our stay in Xingping truly memorable! We would definitely stay here again and are hopping to return one day! The room was perfect with a breathtaking view, absolutely worth it! Breakfast was simple but very tasty and their rice milk was to die for. we felt like at home :-) by far the best place we stayed in China! Thank you for everything!

Beautiful family owned hotel. The views from our room were stunning, it was super clean and ordered. Everyone in the staff was beyond friendly and helpful, they gave us tips to plan our visits, they suggest landmarks and attractions based on our preferences, they helped us order food and even a swimsuit, and to book our didis. They also gave us ‘afternoon tea’ with waffles, fresh fruit and mango juice. It was a truly wonderful stay. We would love to come back someday! Thank you!

Whether it was the front desk, housekeeping, or the restaurant staff, everyone was kind, professional, and eager to assist. The location is perfect, offering a serene and picturesque setting that adds to the overall charm of the stay. It’s peaceful yet conveniently accessible, making it ideal for both relaxation and exploration. The food was another highlight—fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared. Whether we indulged in local delicacies or international options, every dish was delicious and beautifully presented. As for the amenities, the hotel offers a blend of luxury and comfort, with well-maintained facilities that made our stay even more enjoyable. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the staff for such a warm welcome. I spent three wonderful days at the hotel, and the whole experience felt like a continuous spa retreat. I feel truly rested and refreshed. My room had a stunning view of the mountains, which made my mornings special. I also really appreciated that a massage and a tea ceremony were included in the price. Each session was filled with deep philosophical meaning, and I truly enjoyed them. I spent a lot of time within the hotel, so I’m grateful for the included activities. A special thank you for the delicious coffee! I noticed you use DeLonghi coffee machines—they really make a great cup of coffee. The breakfast menu was also very diverse and tasty. The only minor issue was with the hot water, as it took quite a long time to heat up. However, the staff handled it professionally and settled everything. Thank you for a soul-soothing stay! I highly recommend this place.

4th time we returned to the Gigging tree, amazing hidden gem in the Yangshuo madness. Perfect location, relatively quiet, easy access to the river walking/cycling path and bamboo rafting. Also great food options, perfect for our family with a 3 & 5 year old

We had a great stay at this hotel. Location was perfect for cycling to the Ten-Mile Gallery and the pier for bamboo rafting is only a 5 minutes’ walk away. The staff were very friendly and helpful. They helped us book tickets for the Liusanjie show and to Ruyi Peak at a discount. The room was clean and spacious with beautiful mountain views from all windows. We love the simple breakfast and the beautiful courtyard garden and pond. Would definitely recommend it to friends.

Genel olarak iyi ve fiyat performans açısından en iyisi. Hatta ücretsiz kahvaltı bile var ve teyzenin pişirdiği Guilin usulü mee hoo çok lezzetli. Tek sorun, TV projektöründen bir şey izleyemememiz, ama buna vaktimiz olmadığı için sorun değil...

We are guests from Switzerland 🇨🇭, and our stay at That May Hotel in Yangshuo was truly exceptional. The hotel is set slightly above the town, offering stunning panoramic views of the karst mountains, especially beautiful at sunrise and sunset. It’s a small, charming boutique hotel with a peaceful and welcoming atmosphere. The rooms are immaculately clean, modern, and elegantly designed, many featuring balconies or large windows with breathtaking views. The host is outstanding – he speaks perfect English and has lived and worked in Latin America, which is reflected in his warm, open, and genuinely caring hospitality. He goes out of his way to help guests with travel plans, restaurant suggestions, and local recommendations. You can even rent e-scooters directly at the hotel, making it easy to explore the beautiful surroundings. Breakfast was another highlight. The Brazilian coffee was rich, smooth, and full of flavor — the perfect way to start the day while enjoying the incredible view from the terrace. We felt completely at home and deeply appreciated the combination of spectacular scenery, comfort, and heartfelt hospitality. That May Hotel is an absolute gem in Yangshuo — we would return in a heartbeat and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
