The breakfast spread is wide, ranging from the local Taiwan porridge with plenty of delicious side dishes to cooked food, assorted bread and western breakfasts. It's open till 11am daily. Resort is a mere 5 mins walk to xiao wan beach and the night market. For those who don't drive, there is a bus stop outside the resort serving local bus and bus to kaohsiung. Cleanliness is definitely above average and the staffs are always wearing a smile and greets us which definitely makes us feel welcomed. Would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for place to stay in kenting."

The space is large enough, with a living room and sofas, so adults can take a break while children have space to play; when it is not too hot, you can also play in the pool in the yard. The front desk is very polite and caring to guests, and will answer any questions. In addition, the hotel has its own passage directly to the beach. If I have to talk about the shortcomings, it is that although the breakfast variety is rich, it does not quite suit our taste."

What truly sets this hotel apart is its incredible range of facilities designed for kids—and equally fun for adults who want to join in. The children’s play areas are extensive and imaginative. Highlights include a ball pit with slides, a track for ride-on toy cars, a sand play zone, and themed corners where kids can role-play as doctors, chefs, or shopkeepers. It feels like a paradise for children, and parents will find themselves tempted to join the fun too. Beyond the kids’ facilities, the hotel offers plenty of activities for all ages: swimming, billiards, ping pong, carrom, gaming areas, and even KTV for singing with friends or family. There’s also a gym and a cozy reading corner, making the resort feel like a complete entertainment hub. That said, there are a few areas for improvement. The rooms are not very soundproof, so noise from children playing or chatting outside can be heard clearly. The location also requires a 12–15 minute walk from the nearest bus stop, which can be inconvenient if you’re carrying luggage. It’s much easier for guests who drive or rent a car. Additionally, check-in is only available from 4:00 PM, meaning early arrivals may need to wait—though children can enjoy the play areas while waiting. Overall, Grand Bay Resort Hotel is a true haven for families, offering endless fun for kids and plenty of activities for adults. Despite minor inconveniences, the complete facilities and joyful atmosphere make it a memorable destination for a family getaway."

All the private rooms were full for the day, so I ended up in a 12-person shared capsule room — but it was very clean, and the other girls staying there were really considerate. Had a good night’s sleep. Thanks to the auntie in the kitchen for adding two extra boiled eggs for me. The warmth and hospitality in Taiwan truly make me want to come back again and again."

"This experience really touched me... Before checking in, the service staff thoughtfully asked me if I wanted to prepare a bathing chair for the elderly. I thought about it and asked the hotel staff to prepare it for me! This was indeed a wise decision, allowing me to give my 90-year-old mother-in-law a bath... I am also very grateful to the hotel for providing such a service! There were not many guests staying in the hotel, and the hotel deliberately kept some distance between us and other guests so that we would not disturb each other at all... It was really a pleasure to be able to comfortably overlook the sea on the balcony, drink tea and eat snacks with my family! At 8:30 p.m., the hotel provides happy hour service for all guests. We can listen to the wonderful live singing and share cocktails or other drinks with everyone, which adds extra points to our vacation! I am very happy that we were able to successfully stay at Kenting H Hotel this time. My husband said that this is a hotel that focuses on the guests' experience, which gave us a wonderful accommodation experience on this trip."
