The way of check-in might be a little bit difficult for foreigners, but if you have wechat accounts, it won't be a big problem! I can 100% recommed this room to everyone who is searching for cheap hotel at convinient location in Qingdao!"

"We were dubious about booking this room for our 4 night stay as a foreign family in Qingdao but to our surprise it was quite pleasant. We were upgraded to a three bedroom apartment instead of 2 bedroom, which wasn't necessary and it was unused but the sentiment was appreciated. The two bedrooms are just as pictured -very comfortable - absolutely perfect. The kitchen countertop is high so tall people like us felt comfortable using it. The fridge and washing machine were useful to have. The unit has 2 bathrooms and 1 toilet at the entrance (convenient for guests visiting). The views are great from the living room and main bedroom. 🚨The ONLY NEGATIVE was that the living room was NOT COMFORTABLE at all😱😖 and this was a huge problem for us, as 3 larger westerners - the sofa is extremely hard, narrow bum area, and 90° angle back, making it super uncomfortable to sit ! ☹️ I'd urge management to rectify this immediately! There was also not enough seating so we had to move the chair from the bedroom to the living room. We would have extended our stay by two or three extra days if the sofa was comfortable! We would have given 5 stars instead of 3 if the living room was comfortable for sitting and enjoying the view all day which is WHY we booked this place for my elderly parents and brother. If you have a TV box and cables I recommended you bring it with if you want to watch English TV (using a vpn of course) which we did (remember all cords and remote). The staff came daily to clean -they were so friendly and just amazing! By the way we did ask if we could change to a room with a more comfortable sofa, but they said all of their rooms have the same uncomfortable grey sofa 😖😵🫤 super disappointing. all that being said - the value for the view, service, cleanliness and location -it's extremely good! Thanks Haiyi! We will come again ONLY if you change the sofas! 😂👍🏼👌🏼😀🥳"

"Holiday Inn Express QINGDAO CITY CENTER by IHG Stayed from 28 Dec 2025 – 1 Jan 2026. Excellent service with very professional and consistent staff. Great value for money. Breakfast was impressive with a good variety, including seafood and rich, freshly made soybean milk made from real soybeans, very healthy and delicious. Special thanks to Sunny at check in date. Hailey and Owen at check-out for their kind assistance with arranging a taxi to the metro station. Truly a pleasant stay. Highly recommended!"

"Excellent location. Close to taidung street where you can shop for winter clothes at bargain price and a lot of eateries around. Also close to beer museum and a lot of famous attractions. Only downside are the tub a lil too small, breakfast not very nice and there is no proper place for taxi driver to stop."

"This was my second stay at the Holiday Inn, and once again, it was a wonderful experience. I initially booked a premier room, but to my surprise, I was upgraded to a lovely suite at check-in, which made my stay even more special. I was also offered a welcome drink of my choice - tea, coffee, a soft beverage, or even an alcoholic drink - which was a very nice touch. Susie at reception was especially helpful. She explained everything clearly in excellent English and made the check-in process smooth and welcoming. I absolutely loved my stay and will definitely be booking here again. Highly recommend!"

"1st day arrival and early check in was a breeze as there was no need to wait. Room was available and clean and big. Housekeeping ladies would call to check if room needed any cleaning on a daily basis. Nearby plenty of food and convenience stores plus Wanda mall where you can get anything (supermarket in basement). A special thanks to 小刘 the hotel's wechat app that provided all my needs. Especially in assisting me in returning packages and tracking lost items. The staff took time and was patient in solving my delivery issues. This hotel has everything you need if not more. Will definetely return to stay again."
