"The room was decent. The hotel is located on the east side of Sendai Station, which is a bit quieter. However, I was given a corner room that looked completely different from the pictures online. The view and windows were much worse than what was advertised, even though I checked in early to drop off my luggage and they even scanned my passport beforehand. I'm really disappointed and won't be staying here again."

"Sendai feels different from Osaka and Tokyo; it's less bustling, and I hear it's the most populous city in the Tohoku region. The room was small but clean and tidy, and the double bed was comfortable enough. The staff suggested storing luggage under the bed, which was practical. The bathroom facilities were great, and all the water in the hotel is purified and safe to drink directly. The breakfast was exquisite and delicious, with staff constantly refilling dishes to ensure there was always enough for guests. They offer free luggage storage, and you can open the locker with a Suica card (even a mobile one). The staff were all very warm, polite, and helpful in resolving any issues. I highly recommend this hotel. Be sure to visit Tohoku University, where Lu Xun studied, and the small park that used to be his residence. You can find them by searching 'Lu Xun' on iPhone Maps. At the main station, buy a loop bus ticket for a 70-minute circuit that takes you to places like Aoba Castle and the mausoleum of Date Masamune. The Giant Kannon statue isn't covered by the loop bus; you can take a taxi there and a public bus back. For dining, I suggest trying Zenjiro and Ajitasuke."

"To get to the hotel from Sendai Station, head towards the West Exit on the 1st floor and continue until you reach the Hanakyoin Exit. From there, it's about a 3 to 5-minute walk, which is the shortest route. The hotel is in a quiet area, and there are two FamilyMart convenience stores very close by. The front desk is on the 2nd floor, where the lounge also offers a variety of complimentary amenities for guests to choose from, as well as free coffee, ice cream, and other beverages. There's a laundry room on the 3rd floor. Overall, this is one of the most value-for-money hotels I've stayed at, highly recommended."

"A good and clean hotel on a very central location. In walking distance to everything including shops, restaurants, a bus-stop and the station (15 minutes). The lobby is well-designed, but the sound effects (dino egg) were annoying. The room was mostly clean with nice lighting and a big TV but it is very small overall. There is a window but the view was non-existent (you look at a wall). We enjoyed our stay."
