Zizaiju Serviced Apartment (Greenland Peak Shanghui Branch)

The place was unacceptably dirty. There was black and brown grime in the shower area which came up when wiping with tissue (see pictures) there were bits of old food in the sink, some life of spillage (juice) on the sideboard dirty stairs and filth under the bed including a cigarette but and a dirty chopstick. The fridge was dirty inside, smelled bad and had been left disconnected with the door closed. The air conditioning in one of the bedrooms didn’t work properly and they had had left a fan I. There so it appears they knew this. As the bedrooms are above it was particularly hot and stuffy. We barely slept. The sheets were clean and main floors looked like they had been swept and bibs emptied. We arrived late in the evening and followed the instructions which were not clear for entry- luckily we added a couple of people who helped. The room is described as being on 5-6th floor but is actually on 10th floor. It appears that they have made the room by dividing up a large apartment. It looks good and has a great view- but I didn’t see fire evacuation plans or similar and the building is being worked on so didn’t feel very safe. We had no option but to stay the night and was too late to be able to ask owners to do anything about issues so checked out next day. I would expect owners to check on apartments - the dirt there had built up over days and weeks. I felt disrespected by the way it was left- there is no excuse for expecting paying guests to shower and live in other people’s dirt.
