"For starters, I stay at this hotel for many years when it opened up. to my knowledge, this hotel has not had any renovations to the rooms since it’s opening. The carpets are in dire need of replacement, all the electrical outlets do very little to hold even the simplest of charging adapters. They all fall out and you have to use a book or something else to hold the adapter in place. For a foreigner, it is very difficult to find English-speaking staff, when checking in. The breakfast buffet is very limited as I suspect they are maintaining their costs due to lack of gas. The location is great for a small city as it is centrally located near the shopping mall and also some eating places nearby. It is not my choice of hotel in the area now as there is a newer, larger and much cleaner hotel nearby. However, on this day, I was put in a situation where I had to stay there because the other hotel was completely sold out and had been for several days. My recommendation for this hotel is they spend the much needed money for some renovations as it would be a good time since they do not have a ton of guest at the moment. They could section off certain floors of the hotel and start the renovations if possible. It is not a horrible stay just not to the level it was years ago."

"I stayed overnight with my family with 2 kids. Hotel location, service (although almost no english) and cleanliness was good. But to my surprise it had a love hotel vibe. They even had these adult toys & condoms displayed inside our “family room” instead of a minibar, which I found little inappropriate for people with young kids. There are many shops and eats nearby, cab from the railway station was under 10 yuans."
