"Hotel located on top of the hillside which offer fantastic view of lake Ashinoko with the Mount Fuji as backdrop . Travelers can either require hotel pick up when reached at Togenda station (ropeway)from Hakone-Yumoto station train by bus. I chosen the room with lake & Mount Fuji view for 3nights . Unfortunately, due the gloomy & cloudy sky and snowing day , view from my room wasn’t great ! Travels need to make reservation in advance & pay 2000yen for 1/2hour used of hotspring . I would like to thanks the front desk whom was really very helpful and always offered drop off & pickup services during my stayed . Bear in mind that , this hotel doesn’t has in house restaurant or cafe . Travelers can place your meals in advance with front desk OR ask to drop off to the nearest restaurant around there or take a walk about 20mins to the restaurants place."

"The location was about a km away from Kowakidani Sta. Not really far but the recommended path by Google Maps (at least to me) was along the mountain highway. It was rainy and i was walking alone at night. I sometimes pass by vehicles on the road 🥲 I was late for checkin (past 22:00) so I had my Japanese friend call the hostel. They said it's okay to come until 23:00 as the hostel cafe is also open until then. The bedspace in the mixed dorm was spacious enough and the ladder for the upper beds was sturdy. *The restroom in the main hostel is better maintained than the one in the annex. The hostel restaurant is very nice and they let me stay for a bit after checkout as the rain was pouring that day. The owner's dog is named Rum 🥹"

"Отзывы были очень противоречивые,но мы не увидели никакой грязи ни в номере ни в общественных онсенах.Наш номер был большой и с собственным онсэном с видом на реку.Замечательный!Ужин тоже понравился,напитки включены в безлимит.Завтрак тоже обильный, традиционный.Также вечером бронировали семейный онсэн-все супер,если вы белоручка,наверное придеретесь к стенам у потолка,но сама ванна была чистая.На первом этаже также можете себе коктейли намешать.Бронировали одну ночь,пожалели-с удовольствием остались бы на две!"

"The hotel location was great. We were in Hakone for the Onsen (hotel springs), and the hostel was near a lot of them. The staff was very helpful and enthusiastic. The hostel also offered an interesting diner, but we haven't try it. The building and interior was looking very Japenese traditional. Much appreciated for an immersive experience in Japan!"

"This is the first time I've stayed in a hostel with an onsen! The onsen while small, does the job, and the outdoor onsen was really peaceful at night. I booked a queen bed for 2 people and it was spacious enough for me to hold all my belongings. Hostel staff were really friendly as well. One thing to note though is if you're planning to stay here, getting here from Hatsune-Yumato station requires a very steep climb up the road and a trek through the forest, so do NOT attempt to walk here yourself! Take the K-line bus instead, which drops you 100m away from the hostel."

"We stayed in the traditional private room which was large and comfortable. The onsen was lovely and very clean. The kitchen is open for guests to use and well equipped. The hotel is located in quite a secluded area with limited amenities/dining options. There’s a 7-11 and Lawson if you really can’t find a restaurant that’s opened. There’s also a lot of stairs which might be challenging if you have heavy luggages."
