"The overall guest service is excellent with smile and willing to help upon request. One of the room got stains on bedsheets and office change for us in short time. Breakfast is ok for the price paid, don't expect too high.Swimming pool under maintenance, can't use. Overall satisfactory for a budget stay."

"Check in was a breeze. Very thoughtful service by staff to plan the decor and celebration of our Anniversary! This is what truly stands out for Swiss-Bel as compared to other big & new hotels in Batam, though the hotel is much older and needs some refurbishment especially the toilet with some unpleasant smells. Food buffet is not bad and rather delicious but variety across days can be further improved and they can consider serving Indomie for breakfast buffet! Kudos once again to the thoughtfulness of the customer service enjoyed in our stay!"

"First time to Batam, hotel location is next to the mall which you may get what you need from mall and shops nearby. The hotel breakfast had variations choice and good. Overall the experience staying in this hotel was great. There is a swimming pool at Level 2 and and massage center inside hotel with reasonable price. If you are coming over follow those youtuber and online recommendations, you are a bit remote and need to go by car. This place may be good for business traveller but for backpacker or light traveller, you may choose to stay near the attractions where you can reach within walking distance."

"Excellent service. Restaurant manger help my child prepared scrambled egg when this is not in the menu for dinner buffet. Nice buffet dinner with wide variety of food and live band performance. Nice ambience. Able to check in early. The bed was so comfortable, has big TV which I can screencast. Big swimming pool although the pool floor is not clean. Has proper working desk. Security ok, as I met the security patrolling on the floor. I left something in the room when checked out, the staff even WhatsApp me to inform me. Will definitely come back again. Highly recommend to everyone. This is more like 5 star in my opinion. We have enjoyed our stay very much."

"Overall is really a beautiful plc to rest and get away from the busy city life. I would like to suggest more drinking water provided to guests (either provide a water dispenser or additional water given). Per room per day is only given 2 small bottles of mineral water. Believe me, in our climate it is really insufficient. I felt so dehydrated. The drinks I can order from the restaurant are sweetened drinks. So that was really a drawback for me. They have a shop but they do not sell any mineral water. Breakfast is quite sad too.. I was expecting a bit more options for this location since it is secluded frm other eateries. Room service food was much better than the breakfast provided so I'm not sure why such a big difference in quality and taste. Communications in the hotel can be better too. I had informed reception 4 hours before check out for use of a buggy as our unit is very far. Nobody came for us. They called to remind us to check out and I told them yes, we are waiting for the buggy we requested. Subsequently I had to call another 3 times before someone came and the person was also very rude."

"I recently stayed at Harris Hotel Batam and was thoroughly impressed by my experience. The hotel's location is simply outstanding—situated right next to the Batam Center Ferry Terminal, it’s incredibly convenient for travelers, especially those arriving from Singapore. I appreciated how easy it was to check in and head directly to my room without any hassle. One of the highlights of my stay was the excellent sea view from my room. Waking up to the sight of the water was refreshing and set a lovely tone for each day. Additionally, being directly opposite Mega Mall was a delightful bonus. With a plethora of dining and shopping options just a short walk away, I had plenty to explore, from local eateries to international food chains. The international breakfast spread at the hotel was impressive, featuring a wide array of dishes including delicious local Indonesian options as well as familiar Western choices. Whether it was the mouthwatering nasi goreng or the variety of fresh fruits available, I loved starting my day with such a hearty meal. I also want to commend the hotel staff for their friendliness and attentiveness. I requested a non-smoking, quiet room upon check-in, and they went out of their way to accommodate my needs, ensuring that my stay was as comfortable as possible. Their warm service certainly enhanced the experience. While my room was slightly dated, it was generally clean, and the comfortable bed made for restful nights. The slight age of the furnishings didn’t detract from my overall satisfaction with the stay. In summary, Harris Hotel Batam strikes a perfect balance between convenience, comfort, and hospitality. The strategic location, scenic views, excellent breakfast, and responsive staff make it a solid choice for anyone visiting Batam. "Harris Nagoya is a new hotel in Batam. It is situated next to Nagoya Hill mall, placed within a cluster of other hotels with bustling food and amenities all around. The hotel is modern and impeccably spotless. The staff are warm and friendly. Breakfast service is fast, efficient and offers a decent variety of delicious food, pastries, fruits etc. The only thing I would highlight is that the gym is not in the building itself and is not yet open. However, that didn’t dampen my experience at all. All in all, a 5/5 experience"

"Pros: The room was large, everything you need, complimentary drinks and snacks etc. The room is dated but good value. Excellent staff. Cons: No plug sockets accessible by the bed. Please note the sockets in the room are Singapore 3 pin plug sockets. Very, very noisy all day and night from passing traffic, loud motorbikes and engine noises if your room is road facing. Luke warm breakfast, can't be particularly healthy."
