The hotel was very nice. We got the corner rooms (208-209) and they had nothing to complain about. Spacious than most standard rooms in Japan. Our room has sofa and a table. Separate toilet, washing basin zone, and the shower room has a bathtub and a shower head separately. (I don't like thw combination one so i purposely chose this type of room) The cleanliness was superb, you can put the card on the bed and the sticker at the door to sign them to help clean the room and change the bed sheet. The room is equipped with a mini fridge, hair dryer, robes, air humidifier, kettler, few glasses and mugs, air freshener spray, slippers, laundry bag (for laundry service). Staff were nice, breakfast buffet was great (no need to book in advance, can pay upfront) The closest stations are the Tozai Line (orange): Nishi juitchome and the Namboku, Toho, Tozai Line: Odori station.

Super convenient hotel. There is big supermarket at the basement which connected to the subway. No problem even snow or rain with cover walkway.this is 2nd time I stay at this hotel. Will definitely choose to stay here again.

We had a very comfortable stay at ANA Crowne Plaza Sapporo. Daily housekeeping was consistent and thorough, keeping the room clean and well-maintained throughout our stay. The check-in and check-out process was fast and smooth, and the staff were efficient and professional. Luggage storage service was very convenient, allowing us to explore the city without worry before and after our stay. Amenities were sufficient and thoughtfully provided, adding to the overall comfort. With its convenient location and reliable service, this hotel is a great choice for both leisure and business travelers in Sapporo.

the onsen is really good. the hotel is tidy and clean. the room is big. but the view is not as pretty as expected. maybe because the river is dry

We had a wonderful stay at Protom International Hokkaido, and it became one of the most memorable parts of our trip. The hotel kindly surprised us with a complimentary upgrade to the Junior Twin Suite, and the room was incredibly spacious, clean, and comfortable. We were so happy when we entered the room — it felt bright, modern, and very relaxing, especially after a long day of travel. What touched us the most was the kindness of the hotel staff. Everyone was polite, warm, and always ready to help. Their hospitality made us feel truly welcomed, not just as guests, but like friends. We are very grateful for the upgrade and the wonderful service. This stay made our Hokkaido trip even more special. We will definitely choose Protom International Hokkaido again next time. The hotel is strategically located near to metro station (walking distance) and yet it's not too near to the tourist spot as it will be too noisy at night. I can just walk an extra mile to reach the center of Hokkaido. There is also a beautiful park with children playground next to the hotel, and it looks amazing with snow! The part I don't get used to initially was I have to pass the key to the lobby whenever I leave the hotel (I didn't ask much on the reason, I just accustomed to the practice). So far, they have been very helpful too! You can choose not to housekeep your room and they will offer you a free drink for that! But I still need them to housekeep my room everyday because we need the cleaner to clean the dustbin with diapers and tidy up the messy room with kid. My experience was pretty good!

The hotel is within walking distance from Hakodate JR Station. The single room is good enough for me. The room is clean and the bed is comfy. There are sufficient charging points, which is essential nowadays. The hotel provides 2 sets of bath and face towel. The hotel only provide 1 time cleaning for 3 consecutive stay, although we can request for room cleaning if we wish to. Tips: from JR station, google maps directs walking in smaller lane and cut through parking lot, it’s not really convenient. Walk along the main road from JR station is easier to reach the hotel.

The rooms were comfortable and traditional, adding to the authentic Japanese ryokan vibe. Food-wise, the breakfast was outstanding – a delicious spread of fresh, high-quality Japanese dishes with plenty of variety. It was one of the best ryokan breakfasts I’ve had! The only small downside was the kaiseki dinner – it was decent but not particularly standout or memorable compared to the rest of the experience. Overall, if you’re looking for a relaxing onsen-focused stay with top-notch bath facilities and a great breakfast, this place is perfect. I’d definitely return!

I have stay this hotel for 5 nights. gotten a free upgrade , and the room size is spacious. The room is very comfortable and clean. However, the TV cannot play YouTube, this is one of the shortage

This was my second stay at this onsen hotel, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The staff were generally courteous and helpful, although the receptionist could have been more welcoming, as he did not greet guests with a smile. The facilities were well-maintained, and I particularly enjoyed the night lounge area, where guests could relax with mulled wine, coffee, and fresh grilled apples while enjoying a foot spa. The hotel was clean throughout, and the meals served were fresh and of good quality.
