Compared to the older Red Planet Hotels this venue is 'recently refurbished' with customizable lighting. The 2 spotlights above the bed(s) are individually switched which is helpful if you want to read as your partner sleeps.

The room is so clean with complete toiletries. It also gave us all the staycation vibes that we need. Overall we are so satisfied and happy during our stay there.

The best I think at the center of davao. I always want to book this hotel but they are sold out most of the time. I like it coz they have netflix now. One thing i want them to improve is the sheets… the blankets are too thin for my liking. But overall, its the best!

It has a beautiful garden. The food in the restaurant is nice. Seats are inside in a Filipino style room, outside you can enjoy the spacious lush garden while have lunch/dinner. The rooms are large, beds comfortable. It is a bit older but the Charme of this resort is stunning. There is a shuttle boat to beaches at Samal island. Short ride to malls, with grab no problem at all. The breakfast is solid. I would say this was my best stay in Davao.

It was a great stay.Location is perfect for travellers who has an earlier flight.it is 5minutes away from the hotel. sorroundings are clean .you can find restaurants nearby.There is laundry store too.accessable if you want to go to the city center there are taxi and jeepneys outside .

We love the zip line, walking and go around.. , unfortunately the ATV is not available,

Nice buffet, plenty of choices. There were no insects flying and that's what matters when eating ☺️☺️

At first check-in we had an issue with our room. The room looked very old and dated the air-conditioning wasn’t working and the Wi-Fi was non-existent. I raised a complaint to 8 am the next morning. It took two 8 pm to follow the same day for them to rectify this and move as to another room. This room was outstanding. The air-conditioning was working. It was modern better looking not as tight as the other room, there was room either side of the bed to get in as the other room you could only get in one side of the bed as the bed was against the wall so this new room was a lot better. The only issue with the Hotel was the Wi-Fi was extremely rubbish non-existent would be the better word but this was the only issue that we had in our day. Everything else was perfect from the cleanliness to the staff and the buffet breakfast was acceptable just not much choice for the Western pallet but for a Filipino it was okay

Our 2 nights stay was good,we did have restful stay.the room is clean,the lobby is spacious,staffs are accomodating.my son enjoyed the food.

The hotel features a pool, which is nice, but could feel a bit underwhelming if you're someone who craves more entertainment options. On the bright side, the 24-hour gym is a great perk for fitness enthusiasts, and the gourmet shop adds a touch of luxury for those looking to indulge in premium snacks or specialty items. Beyond these, however, there aren't many activities to keep you occupied, so it’s a space that caters more to relaxation and personal time, often spent in your room. Overall, Dusit D2 is ideal for a serene stay but might feel a bit too quiet for those who easily get bored. More in improvement on the food please, there’s no menu that sticks out or you want to try again.
