Amazing 5-star hotel with stunning views of Macau! The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with anything. Great location — close to major attractions and transport. The atmosphere is calm and elegant, perfect for both leisure and business stays. Excellent value for money — I would definitely stay here again!

Overall, the stay was good, but the downfall was having to pay to use sauna. In the description, it says indoor pool, sauna, spa. Hence I picked this hotel. The indoor pool was free but it was too stuffy and hot, even the staff agreed and they said it was cos of heated pool. But they never fink of opening windows or air conditioning or even fan. When I asked where the sauna is, usually it's in changing room but they say it's in spa and we had to pay $180 per person for each session. This is the first time I had to pay. I know spa you have to pay cos require beautician and staff for service but sauna...😱😱 if I had known you have to pay, I would not consider this hotel. I have never heard I have to pay to use sauna in all my stays in hotel and I have stayed in plenty of hotels since I am a platinum member in Trip.com Apart from not being able to use sauna overall I was happy with the stay. The location is OK, you can kinda walk to other resorts nearby, quicker than using shuttle bus, but still takes at least 10 30 min pending which one you wanna walk to.

We booked theFamily Room, which was an excellent choice for us. The room was spacious and very clean, with plenty of room for all four of us to be comfortable. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, and we all slept soundly in the quiet room. We also appreciated amenities like the separate bath and shower, mini-bar, and free Wi-Fi. RIO Hotel was an outstanding choice for our family trip to Macau. It provided great value, combining the comfort of a clean and roomy base with the ultimate convenience of an easily accessible central location. We highly recommend it to other families visiting the city and would certainly stay here again.

Our family of four has just returned from a truly exceptional three-day stay at Andaz Macau, and we are simply beaming. From the moment we arrived, the service was not just good, but breathtakingly good. Traveling with two energetic enfants can be a challenge, but the entire team made us feel so welcomed and supported. The highlight was the sparkling clean and beautiful swimming pool – an absolute paradise for our kids and a blissful retreat for us. The culinary journey was a benchmark for excellence. The breakfast spread was a boundless buffet of choices, satisfying both little palates and gourmet cravings. Our dinner was a standout, featuring exquisitely prepared fish paired with a truly great wine selection—a beautiful culinary experience. What made our stay brilliantly beyond expectations was the personal touch. A very special and heartfelt thanks to the best-in-class Sure Manager, Erik. He handled everything with such professionalism, grace, and genuine care, ensuring our every need was not just met, but anticipated. Thank you, Andaz Macau, for a beloved family memory. I’m a local staying here for post-surgery recovery, extended my stay two times. Reception is decent and helpful. The Japanese restaurant on ground floor is really good and so is the Chinese restaurant on the second floor. I’d say give it a try if you’re staying there, the price is average, totally not overpriced for being inside a hotel. The room soundproof is terrible, you’re out of luck if other guests staying in rooms surrounding you talk super loud or have loud kids. You can also clearly hear conversations outside the hallway. You can also hear the water pipe noises whenever people staying upstairs/downstairs shower. Not the most serene environment. Amenities are alright, the provided shower gel, shampoo and conditioner are a bit small so you’d constantly have to ask for refills for longer stays. The bath tub is bigger than usual ones so that’s a good thing but not a fan of the type of shower head they chose, and the tube is a bit short too but there’s an overhead if needed. I wouldn’t say the location is convenient for tourists as there is nothing surrounding the hotel but they do provide scheduled shuttle buses to get round town and to some hotspots. The walk to the nearest light rail station is around 12-18min (depending on your pace) on foot.
