Em pleno verão com 33° graus na cidade, o ar condicionado não conseguia refrigerar todo o quarto, apenas se ficasse na sua direção. Os outros quartos que foram oferecidos também estavam a mesma coisa, ou seja, o ar estava subdimensionado para o tamanho de quarto.
Foi preciso deixar o ar ligado o dia e todo para ”refrescar” o ambiente, foi muito desconfortável.
Próxima vez vou procurar outro Hotel.

Eu e meu Esposo já somos clientes neste hotel em cabo frio, há muitos anos porque sempre éramos bem atendidos. A localização dele é boa , os quartos são muitos bem limpos e cheirosos e o café da manhã também é bem servido no restaurante. Mas desta vez deixou a desejar no atendimento na recepção , fomos muito maltratados o recepcionista muito grosseiro, sei educação para tratar as pessoas que são hóspedes do hotel . Ele ainda falou pra mim e meu Esposo tanto faz vocês cancelar ou não as diárias, como se a gente fosse ninguém me sentir muito mal com essa situação porque fomos pra curtir e não se aborrecer e isso nunca aconteceu comigo. Pedimos pra falar com a gerente Alessandra que nem deu importância a nosso caso e ainda falou que é porque ele o recepcionista é novo . Enfim faltou educação e empatia com o atendimento aos hóspedes desse hotel. Fiquei decepcionada !!!

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel. Everything was perfect, from the comfortable rooms to the friendly staff. We were even able to check into our room earlier than expected, which made our trip even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a great experience!

Para um hotel que é relativamente novo, deveria ter algumas comodidades. O sinal de W-Fi praticamente inexiste e se você quiser compensar isso assistindo a TV, os canais têm péssima qualidade de sinal, nem parece TV a cabo. Entendo que se o quarto tem um micro-ondas e uma pia, deveria ter talheres e prato.

İyi bir otel ama son iki gün lagün manzarası hayal kırıklığıydı. Lagün manzarası için oda değişikliği istemek zorunda kaldık.
Kat görevlisi ikinci gün odayı temizlemedi ve kirli havluları bıraktı. Sadece çöpü boşalttı. Zemin 5 yıldızlı bir otel için temizlenmemişti.
Bu otelde konaklamamızı sonlandırmak için geri döndüğüm için hayal kırıklığına uğradım.

O acesso ao estacionamento pela rua dos fundos hotel é deserto embora seja fechado. Também estranhei nessa hospedagem a cobrança do estacionamento sem aviso prévio na reserva. O restante foi bom. Gosto de me hospedar neste hotel.

IIza M.RainbowBu oteli işlevsel olarak tanımlardım. Hiçbir dekorasyon veya sıcaklık yok. Ortak alanlar geniş ve oldukça sade. Restorandaki masa ve sandalyeler düz kahverengi ahşap. Lobi, yıpranmış, kasvetli ve çok rahatsız edici bazı koltuklarla seyrek döşenmiş. Banyolar da aynı. Sadece en temel ihtiyaçlar, bir kutu tuvalet kağıdı bile yok (ve ince tuvalet kağıdı). Uzun saatler yolculuk yaptık, saat 22:00'de vardık ve güzel bir duş bekliyorduk... ama olmadı. Kötü bir başlangıç yaptık. Sadece az miktarda su akıyordu, banyo yapmak veya dişlerimizi fırçalamak için yeterli değildi. Bu, şehrin bazı bölgelerinde su basıncının bazen düşebileceği söylendiği için tüm bölgeyle ilgili bir sorun olabilir. Oda değiştirdik, ertesi gün de su basıncı çok daha iyi değildi, su akışı sadece biraz iyileşti ve tüm hafta boyunca böyle kaldı. 5 gece için ödeme yapmıştık ve şehir o hafta çok kalabalık olduğu için kalmak zorunda kaldık. Olumlu yönlerine gelince, personel güler yüzlü ve yardımseverdi, yatak rahattı ve bizim açımızdan, kahvaltı büfesi bu otelin en iyi özelliğiydi; her zevke uygun bol çeşitlilikte yiyecek sunuyordu - tahıllar, meyveler ve peynirler, şarküteri ürünleri, çeşitli sıcak ve tuzlu kahvaltılıklar - bazı Brezilya yöresel yemekleri de dahil, çok çeşitli ekmekler, kekler, iyi kahve ve daha fazlası. Çok tatmin ediciydi. Rezervasyona kahvaltıyı dahil etmek şiddetle tavsiye edilir.
Otelde öğle ve akşam yemeklerinde sunulan yemekler hiç de iyi değildi. highlights:
- beautiful lobby and view from our room of the mountains, beach, etc.
- kind people at the desk and otherwise. very safe inside even though neighborhood is a bit sketchy at times.
- great bed, windows, bathtub, etc..
- affordable as an american for level of service.
- spa and rooftop restaurant are amazing. gym is great too!
dealbreakers: (may stop me from booking next time)
- wifi was basically broken the entire time in our room, and in the hotel at times. less than 10mbits, and no signal in most of our room. front desk said several times they'd fix but I don't think they have the ability to actually fix it. many other people had this issue as well. at a 5* hotel, this should not be happening. major issue, had to do meetings in the lobby to get it to function at all.
- breakfast is *good* but definitely caters towards a local brazilian diet (very few options for vegans). as a vegetarian, I'll just say I ate a lot of eggs and cheese. but hey, that's brazil so not digging on the hotel too much on that.
- elevator is incredibly busy, and there were times where it literally said ”not available” and we had to wait 5 minutes to actually use it.
- there are *TONS* of families with kids in and around the pool when we went. so environment was quite loud and crazy most of the time. they do timeshares so I think mostly big families frequent the hotel.
- we booked and paid extra for the *Junior Suite* (with a large living room as well as bath). the front desk gave us the *room with bath* which ended up being nice.. but is half the size, and refused to put us in the junior suite room, even after showing the reservation. this may be a Trip.com issue instead of the hotel.. but they didn't offer any compensation or flexibility for us. trip did refund us the difference in price though.
overall, its a great deal for the price, and the architecture is amazing, the room is nice, good water pressure. horrible wifi and very few vegetarian options made it difficult to recommend again, but we liked our stay nonetheless.

MMisafir KullanıcıReally lovely hotel in a nice part of Rio. Staff are really friendly and helpful, especially as I speak English and everyone else is speaking Portuguese. The room was lovely and clean and the cleaners came here everyday to freshen up the room, put fresh towels in the bathroom and change the sheets. The pool was lovely and very quiet which made the experience much better. I didn’t have breakfast at the hotel very much but the one day that I did, there was a good variety of food. Can’t fault this hotel, very pleasant and would definitely stay here again.

MMisafir KullanıcıWe booked two rooms with the hotel: a junior suite and a standard. The suite was very spacious and opened up to the street. The windows did a good job of blocking sound so the street didn’t disturb our sleep at night. They had a parking garage that charges R$33 per day and was able to accommodate our Jeep Commander.
What is warranting this poor review was the hotel staff. Upon check-in they had informed us that one of our rooms wasn’t paid for even though i had already been charged by the booking agency. He said that we had opted for pay later and they hadn’t received the payment from the booking agency. I told them that my card had been charged by the booking agency but he insisted that it was likely a hold on the card to secure the room. I’d suggested to call the booking agency but he insisted that it wouldn’t be necessary (he didn’t seem worried so I assumed he had experience with this). Come to find that I was charged twice for this room and the booking agency has been trying to get in contact with the hotel for over a week with no response. This seems like FRAUD.
The second issue. Upon checkout of our suite, the lady checking us out requested a gratuity payment for the included breakfast… she estimated that based on the value of their breakfast that the suggested 10% gratuity would come out to R$180 per person. That would make their self-service breakfast be valued hire than Michelin restaurants in the area. She tried to ask the other party that was traveling with us but when I came closer she gave up. I’m wondering if this is hotel policy or if the staff at this hotel are actually running scams from the front desk.
I am still trying to get a hold of them about the double charge.

AAnonim KullanıcıI booked JW Marriott Copacabana because, surprisingly, the price wasn’t much higher than nearby 3–4 star hotels. The location is truly premium, right on Copacabana Beach and the rooftop overlooks the entire beach, which is a huge plus.
My room faced the inside of the building, so I had to keep the curtains closed the whole time for privacy, which made the room quite dark. That said, the room itself was spacious, clean, and comfortable.
Staff were generally nice, but everything felt quite slow check-in, check-out, room service requests, and even housekeeping. Breakfast was good in quality but exactly the same every day. Getting a table in the morning was also frustratingly slow; at one point around 10 people were waiting, and it took about 10 minutes just to be seated.
The rooftop views are amazing, but the design is honestly very awkward and outdated. The pool is at the back with almost no view, when it could easily have been a stunning infinity pool. The bar area felt cheap, and the thick glass panels and wide columns made it hard to enjoy the view or take good photos. The whole rooftop design felt very old-fashioned.
Overall, the hotel feels stuck in time. It’s a bit sad, because with such an incredible location, a modern renovation could easily make this one of the best hotels in the world. For the price I paid, I was still satisfied, but it definitely didn’t feel like a true luxury experience.

MMisafir KullanıcıThis property has the potential to be amazing, but it needs a few key updates. The location is fabulous, the staff is excellent, and the restaurant is great both in terms of service and food quality.
The room was spacious, and the balcony was unbeatable. If you only speak English, you can get by staying here because all of the staff speak excellent English. We encountered a problem when the showerhead broke off, but the repairman came reasonably quickly to replace it, and he was very polite and not disruptive. We ordered room service, and Dom Rio, the hotel’s restaurant, delivered it quickly. I had the filet which was cooked properly to the correct temperature (medium rare). My fiancé had the alfredo pasta which she liked a lot. The breakfast had a huge selection, and everything tasted good.
The only thing keeping this hotel from earning top marks is the general state of much of the decor in the rooms. The curtains look shabby and dirty from moisture, and the wood of the cabinets is warped also. It is very hard to maintain a room that is constantly exposed to salt water and ocean breeze, but the materials chosen have not stood up to age.
I would recommend staying here if you are interested in staying in Barra at a nice but reasonably priced hotel, but don’t expect the finest luxury. Expect a very large, fairly clean room with a comfortable bed and an amazing view.
