"Great stay at SkyCity Auckland. The location is excellent - next to the Sky Tower. The SkyBus stop is only about 100 metres away, which makes getting to and from the airport incredibly convenient. The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful, the facilities were well-maintained, and the room was clean and spacious. Would definitely stay here again."

We had to move a few times from table to sit comfortably."

"Hotel is in great location in central Auckland. For the price, the renovated room was nice. If you're a light sleeper get a room on a higher floor as my room was on the 4th and facing an alleyway. rubbish trucks at 6am. continental breakfast basic and adequate. The aircon worked well but i would get a weird smell of something in the room every now and then sort of like dirty socks. The Hotel is surrounded by stores to stock up on drinks and edibles and plenty of restaurants & takeaways Overall for the price it is a great pick for hotel in central Auckland."

"Great new hotel in the city centre of Auckland. Everything is within walking distance. They had only opened three weeks before my stay, so everything was brand new. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was large and clean, with a spacious shower and a coffee/tea corner. There is also a well-equipped gym and pleasant seating areas on the ground floor. I happened to be there on two rainy days and really enjoyed staying in such a nice hotel."

They couldn't find my booking but eventually not sorted with management then this effected breakfast next day luckily trip.com provides receipt and shoes that I paid for breakfast included. The bedroom walls needed to be cleaned il.one of the beds sheets is so stained and one had bird faeces luckily the other bed sheets seemed ok so we stayed in that The bathroom was clean but the towels had marks on them so we ended up using the hair dryer to dry ourselves .

thumbs up: 1/ location - right on the viaduct harbour 2/ room is spacious & with practical layout and furnishing 3/ nice to see beau the labrador, the ambassador of the hotel  4/ concierge staff mr kim was professional for addressing us  thumbs down: 1/ check in - checked in at about 3pm and waited for more than 40 minutes to have the room ready ... luggage wasn't even sent to the room and needed to wait for another 20 minutes 2/ housekeeping - an area needed big improvement ... it' was not up to park hyatt's standard ... missing replacing tea cups, wine glasses, body lotion, soap, slippers, water, and etc ... the floor was with dust after staying 9 nights ... soap dishes weren't cleaned everyday 3/ breakfast - so apparently short of staff and training ... there were times proper cutlery wasn't prepared when seated and needed to ask for it .. missing orders like cup of coffee and water 4/ guest services - please don't expect calls to be picked up timely

Located on the periphery of the main CBD area of Auckland, Grand Millennium Auckland was very comfortable, pleasant and very well priced for what you get. The room we stayed in seemed recently renovated and was large, well lit and contemporarily styled with nice modern mood lighting. The one bonus was having secured parking available for a reasonable daily fee of NZD25 with multiple entry and exit. It was first come first serve but I did not have any issues getting a spot the two days while I was there. The hotel was a short walk to the main central part of the CBD, about a 20min walk to the ferry terminal. All in all was a very comfortable stay and have no hesitation staying at a Grand Millennium hotel here in Auckland or a Millennium Hotel elsewhere.

Functional and souless, but a good location for Queenstown with plenty of car parking. The customer service was poor by the usually warm standard of NZ. The receptionist commented on how ”tired you look” Grrrr..who likes to be told that?! And the breakfast venue was so dire and overpriced ($25 each!) we went instead to a nearby woolworths complex with excellemt cafes instead.

An airport hotel, two floors and no elevator?!? Fun hauling 23kg luggahe and carry on up the steps. At least the stairway is very wide. The corridors are long and carpeted, difficult to wheel the luggage. Carpet seemed worn and dirty along the corridors. Gym was decent size, didn't stay long enough to enjoy the pool but people were sunbathing when I checked out. Laundry machines are available too.

The beds have bed mites but convenient for those who want to take flight tomorrow. they have free shuttle bus you just need to go to the bus waiting area at the airport which is around three minute walking distance from international airport . then wait for the yellow bus , ask the driver whether is the right bus
