Oh wow! What a stunning property. We have not been disappointed choosing a hotel close to the Shanghai international airport for ease of access. We had only one night here sadly but the amenities are fabulous and the staff were welcoming and check in was quick and painless. There are some little food stores open late for the late arrivals offering delicious meals. Very spacious room and comfy beds.

İlk Şan*** ziyaretimizde iyi ki bu oteli tercih etmişiz. Otel, Şan***ın simgelerimden TV kulesi ve Şan*** Tower’a çok yakın konumdadır. Nehir kıyısında yer alan otelim etrafında hem lüks markaların hem de normal markaların bulunduğu AVM’ler mevcuttur. Sigara içilmeyen otel konseptinde olması tercih nedeni olabilir, oda temizliği normal seviyedeydi. Batı tarzı kahvaltı bulunması artı puan. Otelin etrafında çeşitli ülke mutfaklarına yönelik restoranlar mevcut.

Havaalanından sabah 10 civarında vardığımda, sadece 1 saat uzaklıktaydı ve vardığım gece yanlışlıkla rezervasyon yapmadığımı fark ettim! 😅 Hiç sorun değil, bana boş bir oda buldular ve erken gelmeme rağmen erken giriş yapmama izin verdiler!
Kahvaltım lezzetliydi; kontinental, Çin ve eski usul yumurta, patates kızartması, fasulye, sosis vb. gibi birçok seçenek vardı! Yemek odasının Şanghay'ın muhteşem manzarası vardı! Oda muhteşemdi, rahat bir yatak, güzel bir duş ve banyo, çalışmak için bir masa ve TV'de İngilizce kanallar vardı. Grand Hyatt'taki konaklamamdan gerçekten keyif aldım, otelin yakınında birçok yemek seçeneği olan harika bir konumdaydı, özetle sadece manzara için bile burada kalmak için biraz daha fazla para harcamaya değer! 🤩

Amazing experience at this hotel. There’s really nothing much to say since everything is so good. They even have free transport to Disneyland and will also fetch you when you are done as well. There are many eateries nearby and massage places so you do not need to search far. Additionally, there is a mall within walking distance and the metro station right next to it.
The staffs and receptionists were very kind and helpful. They gave me recommendations on places to visit, helped book the transport for Disneyland, and helped me order food since I am not used to the apps they use here. There is also free laundry service which will be sent back to you on the same day.
Their breakfast was also delectable and most importantly for me, the hotel room was very clean. Overall, I had a really good experience at this hotel and would definitely consider booking here again if I were to come to Shanghai again. Thank you for having us 😊

Otel odası kapısının kapanma sesi inanılmaz derecede yüksekti ve kapı çerçevesinde yankılanan bir ”patlama” sesi yaratıyordu. Ses o kadar rahatsız ediciydi ki, gecenin bir yarısı bile sizi uyandırabilirdi. Dün gece saat 2'de, koridorun aşağısındaki farklı odalardan gelen kapıların tekrarlayan ”patlama, patlama, patlama” sesini açıkça duyabiliyordum.
Ses yalıtımının olmaması otelin genelinde büyük bir sorun. Sorunlu kapı gürültüsünün ötesinde, üst kattan ve komşu odalardan gelen sesleri de açıkça duyabiliyordum. Bu otelde genel uyku kalitesi gerçekten kötü.
Bu gürültü endişelerinin dışında, oteldeki deneyimimin geri kalanı tatmin ediciydi. Ancak, kapının çarpmasının neden olduğu kesintiler ve ses yalıtımının eksikliği, gelecekte burada tekrar kalmaktan çekinmeme neden olurdu. Yumuşak kapanan menteşelere sahip kapılara basit bir değişiklik çok yardımcı olurdu.

We were given a room upgrade upon arrival, which was a great surprise. Despite the bad weather in the city, the staff were very helpful – they checked whether the nearby park was open and if we’d be able to get there.
Unfortunately, we couldn’t visit the park due to flooding, but I’d gladly come back and stay in the same hotel again.
Breakfast was great – local and very tasty!

This is actually my third time staying at the Royal Garden in Shanghai, and every time I’m blown away by how beautiful it is. The architecture has a classic Chinese style, the rooms are cozy and elegant, and the whole property is full of picture-perfect spots, it’s honestly breathtaking from the moment you arrive 📸
The breakfast is good, and the atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing. Just a heads-up: the hotel is a bit far from the city center, so be sure to plan ahead if you’re heading to major tourist spots. Luckily, there’s a train station only 5 minutes away by foot, which makes getting around much easier.
If I had to point out one downside, it’s the customer service. Every time I’ve stayed, the front desk staff felt a bit distant, not rude, but not very warm either. That said, the overall experience more than makes up for it.
Would definitely recommend this hotel if you’re looking for a quiet, scenic stay in Shanghai with a touch of elegance and traditional charm. 🌸

The hotel is in a good location. The hotel has a pool, public baths and a sauna and steam room. The room decor was horrible, very 80s, and my sheets were worn out and thread bare. The walls are a little thin as I had to hear my neighbors child crying everyday or playing outside the door. Deliveries must be retrieved from the lobby, which was horribly inconvenient. The staff in general was ok I guess. There was nothing especially notable about this hotel but there were no real issues either. The hotel is a little stuffy and given the lack of effort to decorate the hotel outside the lobby it was out of character. Breakfast was generic. Glad all the restaurants I wanted to enjoy while visiting were nearby.

Kkyle&SunWe recently stayed at The Ritz-Carlton in Shanghai, and it was truly a memorable experience. The hotel exudes a sense of tradition and timeless elegance, and the view from our room was absolutely breathtaking — beyond words, really. I can confidently say it was the best view we've seen among all the hotels in Shanghai.
From the moment we arrived, the staff welcomed us with genuine smiles and warm hospitality. The level of service throughout our stay was truly outstanding. Check-in and check-out were both quick and seamless, which we greatly appreciated after a long journey.
Although the building itself shows a bit of age, everything else more than made up for it. The room was immaculately clean, with the furniture and flooring well maintained and neatly arranged. We also appreciated the thoughtful welcome letter and fresh fruit, which added a personal touch and made us feel truly valued as guests.
The breakfast venue offered not only excellent food but also a stunning view, making every morning feel special. The service at breakfast was also consistently attentive and professional.
While the swimming pool was a bit on the smaller side, my husband still enjoyed it during the short time he was able to use it. Once again, the staff there were helpful and courteous, ensuring a pleasant experience.
If I had to mention one minor downside, it would be the slightly dated feel of the building itself. However, the incredible view, exceptional service, and overall atmosphere far outweighed that detail.
Overall, I would confidently rate our stay as 9 out of 10. I would absolutely love to return on our next trip to Shanghai. Thank you to the entire team at The Ritz-Carlton for a truly wonderful stay, thanks ❤️

From the moment we arrived, Lynn went out of her way to assist us with our room and check-in, communicating clearly and confidently in English, which made everything smooth and stress-free.
The hotel is ideally located, close to restaurants, shops, and some of Shanghai’s most exciting attractions, making it a perfect base for exploring the city. Our room was spacious, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable, a true retreat after a day of sightseeing.
The attention to detail, warm hospitality, and high standard of service truly stood out. Thank you, Lynn, for your kindness and professionalism. You made our stay at the Andaz unforgettable.
We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Shanghai!

MMisafir KullanıcıLocation was great! Right opposite the Shanghai Railway Station and there’s an entrance to the Shanghai Metro a few steps from the main entrance. Very convenient if you’d like to travel to other cities or within the city. Space was really clean too. Food delivery (*******) can be retrieved from the ******* Locker right at the doorstep of the hotel, which is very convenient (though not as convenient as having a robot to the doorstep). There’s a couple of banks/atms in the vicinity and an ICBC branch across the street. Front desk and concierge had great service and were really helpful too. Really enjoyed my stay here and will definitely return in the future.

It’ll be fantastic if the orange and white stains in the shower and next to the bathtub were completely removed, but very minor as the bathroom was super clean. My room faced a construction site and the street. In the morning I could hear the noise from the site and honking from the cars. But a bonus is that I have a view of the tower! Location is not too far away from the Bund and the financial district - short taxi ride will get you everywhere you need. Will definitely stay here again the next time I’m in Shanghai!
