Huge hotel with great facilities, but gym, sauna, onsen and pool have to be paid extra and at high prices. That left a very bitter aftertaste. The room was large but a bit dated and could be cleaned better. The service at the reception could be nicer and speak better English. However, the rest of the service staff were extremely nice and helpful. Early check-in was possible free of charge. The hotel is very close to Kobe airport, but only offers a shuttle service for the train stations. Why not also for the airport is somewhat questionable.

First off, this location is a bit out of the way, if you intend to stay close to the downtown...you have to take the ”Portliner” a few stops. No issue for me, but did not realize this when I booked. I chose it because of the onsen / sauna, and I was very satisfied: this was the best sauna / cold tub I had in Japan (so far). Was hotter (and colder) than anything else. The actual hot-tub was good too, but I focus on sauna ＞ cold tub cycles more than anything. Rooms are new and look good, if not a bit small. As expected. Stay for a night if you are on the fence...use the onsen...have a coffee-milk afterwards. You'll feel great. Rooftoop bar / restaurant was nice as well and very friendly staff!

The room is really spacious and has everything. Clean sheets, pjs and wc. The room was clean also but not as clean as my previous jp hotel ( some marks on the table) Bed was comfy too.theres an air purifier whoch was great. Bathroom doesn't have a bathtub as there is onsen in the hotel and massage chairs in the shared area. Love the free snacks, ramen, ice bar and Yakult. At night the onsen can get crowded. It's right at one of the entrances to nankinmachi and has a city bus stop a few steps away. The famous senbei shop is nearby too. Highly recommend!

the room is huge for our family of 3! love it and there is hot spring bath, although is a distance away from the hotel, is worth going for it to detox. the hotel surroundings were great photo spots too, highly recommended.

Great hotel in a fantastic location! We had a lovely time here and were well looked after. The onsen was glorious in the evenings also. Wasn’t too happy about the added cost of being given a second key for the room (which we didn’t ask for, but were given and had no idea we would be charged). Aside from the added cost at check out, it was lovely!!

Nicely located next to port tower, not too far from subway station, a few minutes walk from China Town. Shuttle service for train station, but depending on traffic it might not be that faster. The hotel is not brand new and it shows, but rooms are still nice and tidy regardless with all equipment one could expect. Public bath is fantastic, with sona, hot, hotter and cold baths. Nice amenities in general. Nice and helpful staff.

Wow, this was our first time staying at a Dormy and we loved it. We've stayed at other business hotels, and Dormy has been the best this far. The roof top onsen was great, very clean with lots of personal care products to use. They offer free ice cream (popsicles after onsen 🤤) and ramen in the evening, and free yakult in the morning. The room size is economical, bit larger than other business hotels we stayed in. Parking is not free, it's 1300 a night (if there's space). If it matters, the pajamas they provide are not visually appealing, though they are comfortable (a shirt and pants, both using synthetic sweat wicking (think athletic wear) fabrics).

Great stay, tasty breakfast buffet, clean comfortable room with wonderful view of Kobe city & harbour, conveniently located near JR Shin Kobe station.

丁寧な玄関でのお迎えから気持ちよく利用をスタートできました！着物は好きなデザインを選べて楽しかったです！ 部屋食は事前のご連絡が必要とのことでできませんでしたが、夕食会場はとても清潔でモダンな場所でした。少し古めのゲーム機が設置されており、久しぶりに見るゲーム台で遊ぶことができました。部屋はオーシャンビューの和室に泊まりましたが、夕日や朝日が綺麗で、何より部屋にいてもずっと海の音が聞こえて心休まりました。 このお宿の一番の感動は、食事です。お造りがとてもおいしく、内容が充実していて大満足でした！ 朝のビュッフェも和洋どちらもあり、デザートが美味しかったです！ 宿からすぐ海辺に行けるので、疲れていても楽しめました！ スタッフの方も丁寧で、また泊まりたいと心から思った旅館でした！

The hotel is right next to the Architectural wonders of Awaji and you can view them with the seaview as a background right from the balcony. The size of the room is also very comfortable. Would also like to recommend booking the breakfast buffet. We have tried two restaurants from the hotel and bought souvenirs from the shop and have nothing to complain about.
