One of the most iconic hotel in Taiwan, especially the Grand Hotel - Taipei, elegant deco all the way from lobby to the room. The Grand Hotel didn't disappoint us, whether the facility, hospitality, entertainment, foods and scenic/view from hotel. Everything was excellent, hotel also have shuttle to nearby MRT station every 30 mins, both driver & staffs were very friendly and helpful. We also did the tour to west gate secret passage, the guide has lot of knowledge about the history and explained the background, history of how the Grand become today's The Grand hotel. We tried two of the restaurants on ground floor next to the lobby, they were both very nice & gave all flavors Taiwan has to offer. We would stay here again next time if we visit again & highly recommend for anyone to try at least once in your lifetime.

Everything was very good. Staffs are kind and warm welcoming. There is free shuttle bus service from kaoshung to hotel, it’s very convenient. A bar located on the beach. Grab some beer at night with good vibe. It’s perfect!

There was 24hours convenient store in front of the hotel. The cabin was tidy and clean. Multi-national people was visit the hotel. The three elevators were fast. Breakfast was available at third floor from 0600 local time. One bottle of beer or soft drink was provided at the first day.

A nice hotel. Stayed on the 30th floor with a decent view. Gym, hot tub and pool were nice. Asked for a quiet room, but somehow managed to be stuck next to the elevator lol. Sounded Like the subway going past. Lots of restaurants and amenities nearby.

Good size room and friendly staff. A bit of walk from train station and not very easy if you carry luggages. It has swimming pools, gym, and a spa but a little bit old though. Plenty of food options and next to a supermarket / convenient stores.

This hotel was style and substance from start to finish. Service was impeccable, I enjoyed the executive lounge, the bed was comfortable and the breakfast (abalone porridge with buffet) was amazing.

Room Quality: The room was newly renovated, which was a pleasant surprise. It felt modern and comfortable. Common Areas: Unfortunately, the main areas of the hotel are quite dated. They could use some updates to match the quality of the rooms. Check-In/Check-Out Policies: I found the policies regarding check-in and check-out to be very strict. It can be inconvenient for guests with varying travel schedules. Location Convenience: One of the best features is the convenience store, supermarket, and several restaurants located downstairs. Overall, while the room was great and the location convenient, the outdated common areas and strict policies were drawbacks.

I had a wonderful stay at The Riviera Hotel Taipei. The location is perfect—close to local dining, temples, parks, and shopping. Catching an Uber from here is very convenient. The room was clean and fully equipped (iron, kettle, hair dryer). The bathroom was amazing, featuring a shower with perfect pressure and a comfortable heated automatic toilet. Breakfast was delicious and diverse; I stayed for 5 days and enjoyed every meal. The staff, from the waiters to the receptionists, were professional and efficient. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely return!

The hotel location is honestly perfect. It’s right next to Formosa Boulevard Metro station and the exit has an escalator so no worries if you have heavy luggage! The hotel lobby is pretty beautiful and the coffee bar is free. I was upgraded to the top floor of the hotel! Bathroom is nice and big. Bed is comfortable but the pillows are so soft — I ended up with some neck pain. Snacks and bottled water provided everyday in the room. Unfortunately the room is a bit dark even with all the lights on - and we found some hair in the room on the bed and in the carpet that did not match our hair colour so it must’ve been left behind by a previous guest or housekeeping. The hotel has a nice breakfast buffet with many western and Asian options and the staff are very nice. Rooftop is beautiful at night for a drink. Walking distance to Liuhe Night Market for all the yummy foods! Highly recommend this hotel if you are in Kaohsiung! The city was lit up so beautiful for the TWICE concerts! Love Kaohsiung!
