The two queen beds in the room is smaller than expected (we measured the two beds at 150cm x 188cm) The rooms and inside the hotel can be cleaner as it is a “5 star” hotel. The food at Thai Restaurant is normal (nothing special). The salad bar at the morning buffet is good. I think the location is good. The parking lot is far…. You might have to walk 5 minutes back to the front entrance if the parking spots at the front are taken (usually are and we went during low season). Overall, this hotel offers its services and products like a 4 star hotel rather than “5 stars”.

I recently stayed at Hyatt Regency one to two metro stations away from Taiyuan international airport and was thoroughly impressed by the outstanding service and attention to detail. There’s a shuttle bus to the hotel but I chose to take the metro. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. Small touches like the attendant pressing the lift button for me showed their dedication to guest comfort. As a family traveler, I was pleasantly surprised when they proactively provided an extra bed without me even requesting it—such thoughtful service! The express check-out was seamless, and the shuttle bus to the airport made my departure stress-free. Every staff member I encountered was courteous, professional, and genuinely eager to assist. This hotel truly understands hospitality, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for convenience, comfort, and top-notch service. Will stay here again!

Located next to Pier 2 making the harbour walk easy & nice, however, it is in a terribly noisy location where buses, coaches dropping tourists, garbage trucks working in the early mornings and people walking towards the pier talking and laughing loudly etc It is about 15 mins taxi ride to Central Park etc The city and water view were nice. However the facilities and the hotel itself were dated. Balcony lock was not working in either room we stayed in. The water pressure in the bathroom was not strong at level 5. Thr bathroom set up is uncomfortable. Beds were not quality ones. The slippers were really cheap quality. Amenities were pretty limited. Breakfast buffet finishes at 9:30 not 10:00. The staff when we checked in was cold. Performed her job but not welcoming.

Vagus Hotel is a vintage-themed boutique hotel. The hotel is about 10 minutes walk from Zhongshan MRT Station Exit 2. It is also near the Ning Xia Night Market. The room was clean and comfortable. Water dispensers (hot & cold water) are available on several floors and in the lobby, and also serve a complimentary snacks, coffee, and tea area. The reception staff were very friendly. We managed to rent the travel adapters from the reception. The hotel provided free Wi-Fi. The beds are quite firm and clean. Although the lighting in the room was slightly dim and the hotel felt a bit old in some areas, it added to the hotel’s charm rather than being a problem. Overall, it was a comfortable and pleasant experience.

As a female traveler, I would say the location is a bit concerning, but the elevator’s floor-access restrictions do help with security. The receptionists are friendly, and being able to store luggage here is convenient for travelers who have plans around Taipei. Also the room is a bit small. Overall, the stay was mostly good, but the soundproofing could be improved.

It's a proper resort with a full list of activities a big restaurant serving local and international options for breakfast. Expect the biggest bed and room you've seen in Asia.

Firstly, the hotel management has strong empathy allowing me to cancel 1 night last minute due to family issues that I have to check out 1 day earlier. But to my surprise, Check in timing is surprisingly at 4pm. Gym facilities is under renovation but did not prior inform the guest upon check in. On Trip.com, stated open 2023 which is very misleading that the hotel was newly renovated or newly built. But the rooms are old but luckily not rundown and rooms are clean.

Did a short trip getaway after Guangzhou meeting. Hotel location has lots of Michelin food and as well great for shopping . Easy access by train, taxi or private car . Would recommend the hotel for stay due to it amenities nearby. Do note room is very basic hence toiletries like tooth brush , shaver and etc . Best to bring your own . Walk out main entrance of hotel u turn right there is a a shop called Taiwan CLM self made bag. Good quality and reasonable price . Food wise lot of choices nearby and round the corner You be spoilt for choices . Front counter manager Joshua is upcoming and also friendly . Minor incident happened and they admit their issue. This is very good that show the hotel has high standard of taking care of client item. Any damages they inform . Hotel is usually packed so do take note if you wish to ask for late checkout sometime is difficult .

Amazing hotel; staff are lovely, very chilled vibe. Rooms are very clean and nice and the bed is comfy. Lots of complimentary drinks and food in the common area as well as in the rooms. 10/10 cannot fault it.
