Super nice hotel. It’s close to the subway station and it’s next to the Nakajima park where we had a great time playing in the snow. The snow-covered hotel garden was covered with snow which made it look so beautiful! Highly recommended! The breakfast was amazing, the staff were very friendly. It’s an older hotel but it adds to the charm. We only stayed one day as an extra day in Sapporo. It was truly beautiful! Unforgettable experience!

Beautiful hotel with a moor onsen spa and sauna. However it is a 15-min walk from the station and shuttle service is limited. Lots of weddings and royal visit at this resort. Twin Room is spacious and comfortable. Walking distance to M fast food chain next door and Aeon shopping nearby. I would highly recommend it.

location is rather outside the main busy tourist area, but the hotel offer free shuttle to sapporo, it could be better if they have evening schedule too. Room is rather spacious as in Japan, amenities are good in quality. Bottle of drinking water has been provided everyday. Breakfast is great, a wide variety of choice.

I wanted to stay somewhere near the Sapporo Station because I planned to join the day-tour to Biei and I also needed to take the train to Otaru, so the location of the hotel was pretty good although there were a few more hotels that were a bit closer to the Sapporo Station. Still, every staff was friendly and helpful, and the room was big enough to keep 2 suitcases open, which I personally liked the most. Also, this hotel is known for its delicious breakfast and it was even better that a buffet style and a Japanese style are served, which I enjoyed a lot as I stayed for 4 nights. Lastly, although it takes about an hour and a half to get to the airport, you have an option to take the bus to the airport from the hotel. Unless you are planning to stay somewhere near Susukino, this hotel can be the one great choice.

I stayed in a ryokan-style room at this eco-friendly hotel and had a pleasant experience. The room was clean though note that daily cleaning is not provided unless you stay for 4 nights or more, which aligns with their sustainable practices. The hotel is in a fantastic location, close to a shopping street and a great ramen shop, making it convenient for dining and exploring. A bonus is that it’s connected directly to a Family Mart, perfect for quick snacks or essentials.

The hotel has seven types of mineral onsen baths that come from hot springs in Jigokudani. The hotel facilities and amenities are great. And it has a big duty free shop for getting biscuits and souvenirs from Noboribetsu. The nearby town has many eateries too. The hotel is within walking distance to Jigokudani - He’ll Valley.

My only regret is not booking the room for more days! ❤️ Pros: very close to the tram station; the room with the open air bath is spacious, clean, and sooo lovely; the public bath was clean; the staff were very nice, shoutout to Julie for explaining everything to us; the breakfast was good; i loved the little things: the charming yukatas, the snacks, the loose leaf tea, a lot of thought was put into it Cons: idk. only because im nitpicking but the hotel’s a bit old which adds to the whole vibe of the room we stayed in. 100/10… definitely coming back and seeing all the Hakodate spots we missed because of our short stay and staying here again

If you are driving, you can park your car at the parking area right beside the hotel. At the front desk, exchange your parking ticket for a free pass with you can use to enter and exit the parking area for free-of-charge throughout your stay. The parking will cost 1000yen/night, which you have to pay upfront when you check-in. Overall, it was a beautiful and comfortable hotel which is near to the Hakodate Bay and the Morning Market. The hotel offers a complimentry onsen for all stayers.

Relatively clean, though it is evident that the hotel is quite old. The room and toilet were cosy. One main upside to this hotel is that they offer free drinks (coffee, tea, red/white wine, fruit juice, and hotel-made soup) from 1pm to 7pm, which is free flow as long as you are a guest at the hotel. There are also two fine dining restaurants at the top two floors, one of which is teppanyaki-style. There is also breakfast buffet at Lvl 5 which is quite nice.

Not sure whether it’s during long holidays, or it’s normal. But I expected much better service for this type of hotel. So I was so disappointed when I didn’t feel like it. First, I carried a lot of stuffs. I asked for concierge, yes there was a luggage cart, but I need to carry all by myself up to my room, using a small and old with impaired wheels cart. Second, full of tourists. Onsen was so full too. So I need to hurry took a bath, a few minute in the onsen, then go back to my room. Not relax at all. Third, such a long queue breakfast. There were 2 types of breakfast for us to choose. Never seen like this before, but we need to get a queue, for 30-60 minutes waiting. If I knew that there was a queue for hotel breakfast, I would definitely went down to get the queue before packing my luggage. Who will know that it would be like this. It’s my really first time to wait for 1 hour to have breakfast. Lastly, I was so tired and want the massage, so I booked one. Not sure whether it’s normal for Japanese style or not, but compared to Thai massage and Korean massage, I shouldn’t have paid for it . Too expensive but not help at all. I came back to my room to acupuncture myself instead. Luckily that I stayed 2 hotels in Hakodate, so I moved to another hotel on the next day and feel much better. Oh, a few things I like about this hotel. 1. The pictures along the way to another wing (during my walk to onsen). There were beautiful 2. A rental car place in front of hotel, during my waiting for breakfast queue, I walked there and found a good price car rental.
