This is a really nice Hotel for a couple off Days relaxing.. Beautiful pool that you can swim in . and a very good buffet. Catering mainly to Asian tastes but plenty of choice for everyone . Easily walk down town . Not much to see ..

Bu hosteli beğendim ama bir sorun var... gece ışıkları çok loş. Biraz daha az ışık olsa güzel olurdu.
Yatak temizdi, duş ve tuvalet harika.
Kahvaltı ve kahve çok lezzetli.
Personel nazik ve anlayışlı.
Ninh Binh'de yapılacak çok şey var; doğayı, özellikle dağları görmek, yerel halkla birlikte tekne turuna çıkmak, tapınakları ziyaret etmek gibi.

Fantastic resort that is nearby the Van Long nature reserve.. you can rent bicycles and cycle there to take boat rides, then ride further along a scenic route to ruong cafe, where you can have coffee and tea in a beautiful rice padi field.
Tip: don't take the rental bikes with racer bike style seats unless you like pain and discomfort
Highly recommended for families. Spa and restaurant is very good.

Room rate is more than reasonable as the room is very big and location is very convenient.
However, would be great if below few minor things can be taken into consideration:
1) Breakfast - both quality and choices need to be improved.
2) Room - no electricity at the electric sockets next to the bed…so I need to charge my phone with the socket under the desk instead.
3) Spa - would appreciate if they can extend closing time to 10pm!

The rooms are very nice and clean, had no problem whatsoever.
The staff are very nice and helpful, they really want to help you throughout your stay.
The breakfast are delicious and plentiful, we even had the chance to try their diner service and it was great ^^ a lot of variety in the menu and the service was fast and amazing.
Only thing I have to say is that it’s a bit far from any restaurants, I personally didn’t mind walking around to look for options but it’s a a bit of walk. Nothing too scary, the area is very friendly and smiling 😅

The resort environment is really beautiful and serene. It is located at the foot of the Cuc Phuong National Park. Even though the resort is Far away from the city and near the mountains but both Ms Anh from the Front office and Mr Steven (Guest Relations Manager) have been extremely helpful and informative and made us feel really at home.
The resort is very big. There are several ways to go about. Either walking or renting bicycles or arranging for electric cars (buggy)
The resort room is very neat, clean and tidy.
The food is very tasty and very fresh.

This trip itinerary covered three places:
Hanoi --＞ Ninh Binh (2.5-hour drive)
Ninh Binh --＞ Ha Long (3-hour drive)
Ha Long --＞ Hanoi Airport (2-hour drive)
For two nights in Ninh Binh, I stayed at a place called ”Mai Luxury Hotel.”
Judging by the name, it sounds grand,
but in reality, it was more like
a family-run, small-scale single-building guesthouse.
However, the room was of 4-star hotel quality,
so it was acceptable.
After checking out,
I had been on the way to Ha Long for about two hours when
I realized I had left my Insta 360 camera in the hotel lobby.
Knowing there was no way to go back and get it,
I had to wait until I arrived in Ha Long before calling Mai Luxury Hotel.
After confirming with them that I had indeed left it at the hotel,
we started looking for a solution.
Initially, they followed me on IG
(their hotel IG only had 4 followers).
We chatted via DM, and then they added me on WhatsApp to discuss.
Originally, they wanted to find a driver that very evening
to bring it to my hotel in Ha Long Bay.
But because it was a holiday, they couldn't find a driver.
Later, they found out I would be leaving Vietnam the next day,
so they started looking for any drivers heading to the airport the following day.
Not long after,
they actually found a driver.
They even sent me the driver's and vehicle's details.
They also said they had already wrapped it up securely.
At this point,
I was inclined to believe they genuinely intended to return it.
However, if the driver turned out to be dishonest, it could still go missing.
On the final day,
I arrived at the airport around 1 PM and received a message from the driver.
After that, I didn't hear from him again.
I grew increasingly anxious inside,
thinking maybe he was still driving?
Or perhaps he had already kept the camera for himself.
Around 4 PM, I finally received a call from the driver.
He even captured a photo of my anxious expression while waiting for him.
As previously arranged with the hotel,
I was to pay him 500,000 VND (about 150 HKD).
At that moment, the driver actually handed me back 200,000 VND.
Before I could react, he had already gotten back in his car and left.
When I looked at the returned item, I could hardly believe it!
The hotel had used a ”Happy New Year” bag
to hold a ”Happy New Year” box.
Upon opening the box, the camera was wrapped in cloth.
The level of care and thoughtfulness was truly perfect.
The feeling of joy from recovering something lost is truly
indescribable.
Of course, I wouldn't dare say that everyone in Vietnam is good,
but at least on this trip,
whether it was the hotpot restaurant owner, the tour guide on the boat, or the hotel staff,
they all made me feel
the warmth and kindness of the local people.

From the moment I arrived, the warm hospitality and genuine kindness of the hostess made me feel completely at home. The rooms are beautifully designed with authentic local touches and great attention to detail — charming, stylish, and very comfortable.
The breakfast was delicious, with fresh, flavorful dishes that set the perfect tone for the day. The location couldn’t be better: peaceful, scenic, and conveniently close to all the major attractions in Tam Coc and the surrounding area.
Overall, this place is one of the best options for anyone wanting to explore the beauty of Ninh Binh. I highly recommend it and would gladly return!

DDMITRII KNV.This is my second trip to Ninh Binh. I stayed for two weeks before, and my wife and I tried about six or seven hotels without liking them. We've now spent almost a week at this hotel, from start to finish! It's not on the main street, so it's much quieter, but still a minute away. There's a market and a VinMart nearby, and all the necessary shops are nearby. There's also a cafe nearby, but the owner will cook anything you want and makes excellent breakfasts! Scooters and bicycles are also available for rent. The owner will even give you cooking classes on local dishes! The owner's therapist gives amazing massages in the massage room; we went there regularly, and the price was much lower than the massage therapists on the main street. The owner herself is simply wonderful; we've fallen in love with her! She speaks English, answers all your questions, and is always ready to discreetly help.
