"So glad I chose this place. They’ve thought of every little detail down to sunscreen at the front exit and ice provided in a vacuum sealed bag because the buckets had run out! Every staff member smiled and was personable. The room was perfect and view incredible. I will for sure be back!"

"Hotel service at concierge is excellent. Location is close to everything. Parking is convenient when you paid $60 per day. But the room described with city view is not really accurate. We were allocated with a room with not good view - construction site and garbage. Our room is a connect room. The sound insulation is very poor. The couple next door were fighting after 1am, which was quite disturbing."

"The room was generally clean. The hotel doesn’t have a heating system — only air conditioners that cool, which made the stay uncomfortable during colder weather. What really affected my experience, though, was an encounter with one of the staff members. While some staff were fine, one older lady made a deeply inappropriate and racist comment about me as I was returning to my room. There had been no real interaction between us that could justify such a remark — it was unprovoked and very hurtful. I felt extremely uncomfortable and disrespected. No one should have to experience this kind of treatment, especially in a place meant to be welcoming. Unfortunately, that incident has left a lasting negative impression on what could have been a neutral or even positive stay."

"Very very good location!! Most attractions are just walking distance especially the Rundle Plaza. Like 6-8 mins away from the hotel. Railway and bus stations are also close. If you’re into western fastfood, there’s a KFC and McDo both sides of the street where the hotel is located. Many food choices for breakfast buffet. Room and T&B is big and clean. Complete with amenities with small fridge and iron and stand. Highly recommended and will probably book here again next time! 💕"

"A stunning hotel, from the moment you walk in it has luxury and upmarket feel. Room was Evelyn appointed, bed was very comfortable and large bathroom. The was very stylish and most importantly very quiet considering if its in a main city road. The roof top bar is the perfect place to eat and drink the afternoon away, with nice views. Would definitely recommend stay at the Mayfair."

"We had a great stay at Hotel Grand Chancellor Adelaide. The location is excellent and makes it easy to explore the city. The room was clean and comfortable, and the amenities were good overall. Service was friendly and helpful. A solid choice for a stay in Adelaide!"

"Great view, decent service and location however I was put in the room next to the lifts and was kept awake/woken up for a large portion of the night until late, and early in the mornings on both nights of my stay. Complained at reception however they weren’t much help nor did they offer a discount on my stay. Very disappointed - otherwise great just make sure they don’t put you next to the noisy elevators!"

The tram services within the city being free is a great bonus. Daily room service with regular replenishment of toiletries was appreciated. MMisafir KullanıcıPerfect stay with great services here. Sharing a room with an access card make you feel safe. Even the toilet is accessed with the card. Luggage storage is available and is secured by staff at the reception. Location beat hand down and we booked another night with private room. Only down side is a shared toilet.

MMisafir KullanıcıWe stayed at the hotel for my husband's birthday and had a great time. Loved the heated pool and jacuzzi. Room was very spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was a bit disappointing, very cramped and staff were struggling to keep up, did not feel like a five star experience. Balcony really tiny with no view, so not one you could actually use. Service was excellent and staff were very friendly.

It seemed positioned perfectly to watch TV from the bath, but id rather have a comfortable viewing from the bed. It also meant two of us squeezed on to one side of the b Bed to be able to see the TV. The mattress was also uncomfortable and clearly needs replacing. It sloped one side and had a big bump in the centre. Overall a good hotel but I wouldn't stay in that specific room again.

Mmiweekend Janice BehThe overall experience swings to both extremes — some things were very good, while others were quite disappointing. Good: New and Modern interior design, especially impressive for a motel-rated property. Spacious room with an exceptionally comfortable bed. Wide variety of in-room beverages. Concierge staff were very friendly and helpful. Free parking for motel guests (unlike the sister hotels, which charge $15 for 24 hours). Bad: No self-service laundry — a major drawback for a motel. I had to walk 480m to a public laundromat on first day.. then only learned that we can use laundry service at sister hotel. Poorly designed shower area. The shower platform is higher than the toilet section, causing water to flow out into the toilet area instead of towards the drain — very odd design. Internet is weak, unstable, and slow. If your child wants to play Roblox… forget it. Housekeeping needs significant improvement. They didn’t wash the mugs and glasses, didn’t clear used plates, didn’t sweep the floor, and didn’t replace the trash bag — they only changed the towels.

MMisafir KullanıcıI didn't realise it was stair access only. This wasn't made obvious when I booked or I would have avoided it. Because I have 2 extremely bad knees and cannot do stairs this made it very hard for me. By the time I walked down to there, walked up the outside steps it was too late when I saw the inside steps to go back because my knees were done. Heater not working so by the time I realised this on the first night I physically wasn't able to walk back again. But when I reported this on Tuesday night there was instant action and the issue was resolved. Heater on, but it was VERY loud when running. Not much space to sit and relax. If there were 4 guests there is literally not enough room in the couch/fridge/tv area to accommodate. And one of the luxurious things about staying in a hotel room is sitting in bed and watching TV which is impossible here. It has been years since I've stayed in a hotel or motel room that does not supply shampoo/conditioner so this was a surprise. Fridge door jammed, had to push it hard to close.

The two most important things for me in any hotel are a comfortable bed and a good shower. the bed was great but the water pressure in the shower was very poor. Aside from that, there were other issues that I would not expect from a hotel of this standard, carrying the prices it does. The TV power button did not work, neither did any of the top buttons on the remote. Once I turned the TV on at the GPO and then on the actual TV itself, I was unable to use the connected DVD player as the buttons to switch to it on the remote did not work. Breakfast was quite poor. Basically cereal or scrambled eggs with a few other options such as fruit cups, yoghurt and biscuits. It served my purpose being close to the convention centre, but I doubt I'd stay there again.

They also have an interesting buffet offering for 20 dollars, i haven't tried it out, but i heard it quite nice.

MMisafir KullanıcıWe loved our stay at the Rydges hotel,the ambience, the service, the service providers and the entire crew were lovely.Being a first time in Adelide, the visit was made superb by the amazing experience we got from the hotel. Their rooms are clean, amenities are excellent, rooms are spacious, views are scenic and it is cvonveniently located to any major plae you would like to visit. I loved how generous their compliments are, including the fridge with merchandise that would be essential in the middle of the night or so! It was also fairly priced and we loved our spa and pool sessions. If you need to relax and unwind in a well hosted environment in Adelide, do'nt hesitate to make a booking. I will definitely book them if I have to go back.Thank you😊😊😊😊
