"Comfy room and big bathroom (the shower is amazing!). The WiFi is very unstable. There a lot of options for the breakfast, but the western section isn’t so good (at least they have bread and eggs). The YaYa’s menu is delicious, and the room service is fast. All the staff is very helpful."

"After nearly a decade away, I finally found myself back at this hotel—and what a welcome return it was. From the moment I stepped into the lobby until the moment I reluctantly rolled my suitcase out for the airport, the experience was nearly flawless (with just one teensy quibble—I’ll get to that in a bit). Check-in was smooth as silk, made even sweeter by the offering of fresh watermelon juice. A delightful touch! I did encounter a minor hiccup with my luggage—it took a while to reach my room, and I had to ring the concierge to investigate its whereabouts. But the porter was so genuinely apologetic, I almost wanted to apologize for bothering him. Guilt level: Catholic nun. Now, onto the room. It was wonderfully spacious, and while the decor still whispered “vintage business trip,” it was undeniably comfortable. In a world of modern hotels where rooms are the size of a generous walk-in closet and the lighting feels like a moody art installation, Parkroyal proudly remembers what hotels are supposed to be: roomy and restful. Would I have loved a USB charging port near the bed? Yes. Did I survive without it? Also yes. The one area that could use some serious love was the bathroom—more specifically, the shower bathtub combo. The tub had some visible mould on the floor, the shower head had a bizarre crush on the wall (refusing to face the actual human in the tub), and the toilet flush was positioned so low I wondered if it was designed by a committee of hobbits. Tall guests or elderly folks may need a bit of acrobatics to reach it. That said, the rest of the bathroom was perfectly functional. My room faced the swimming pool, which looked inviting, though I skipped it in favor of the gym—and what a gem it was. Not only did it feature the usual suspects (treadmills, dumbbells, etc.), but it also boasted a yoga area, TRX setup, rowing machine, and even a vertical climber. It felt more like a premium fitness club than a hotel gym. Breakfast deserves a standing ovation. A buffet that goes beyond the usual suspects, offering everything from local delights to Western staples, plus Japanese, Korean, Indian, and Chinese options. I may or may not have returned for seconds. And thirds. In short: would I come back? Absolutely. It’s a comforting mix of old-school hospitality with just enough modern touches. A charming classic that knows what really matters."

"They didn’t update their menu price which is they should definitely do it . Always no toilet paper . Never clear the dirty plate . Let them wash my dirty clothes and the smell so bad . Never dry properly. Never help me with my luggage when I check in . They just looking at me I pull my 2 luggage plus other heavy stuff on my own . Price increase everyday ."

"Hotel is good. The carpet was dirty. You can smell the cigarette’s smell in your room from other rooms, which is not nice if you don’t smoke. Breakfast was good. Sometimes the electricity was off for a minute."

"Second stay at Sedona Hotel Yangon within a month. Breakfast at D’Cusine has shown improvement with more varieties. Service level was excellent as usual during the stay. Easy to move around from the hotel to most areas and to airport. Near to Golden Valley (not walking distance) where you could find a must try restaurant Rangoon Tea House."
