"The hotel was right at the beach so it was very convenient. It also has a nice restaurant with breakfast, lunch, dinner menus so we never had to go too far for food. Some of the hotel staff were very nice and kind, some were cranky but that's alright. The AC in our room was leaking and we informed the hotel but they could only provide us towels to deal with the leakage. I booked quite last minute so I can't really complain with the room choice. All in all, I do recommend the hotel."

"At first they could not find the reservation. The room was good, old but wel kept and clean. Aircon worked well but the shower had no pressure. When we mentioned this at reception it was fixed within hours. The gardens were cut but the gardener left all cuttings whete they were so we cleaned our own path. The coffee and teacans were so dirty we did not even toych them, but thete was a coffeemachine that worked slowly as well. Bad coffee though🙃. Very good yoghurt, fresh baked/fried eggs and a choice of asian food. Only melon for fruit and juice was the usual sugarwater. Chairs with parasols and good matrasses on a great part of the beach, and although it was never clean of leaves, there were some guys shoving some leaves around every morning. This place has a lot going for it, but, like the rest of Samed, it lacks enthusiasm and selfrespect. High prices are okay, but only if the standard is a bit higher. There is trash EVERYWHEREon Samet, and I mean stinky big piles of black bags, matrasses and plastic bottles. Behind one beach where we walked to, it smelled as there was a corpse lying around. That was not at our beach luckily, but Samed is small and I think things can be ran a lot better with the amount of money coming in."

"My 5-night stay here was great! Very central location. Walking distance from the pier (about 8 mins). About 5 minutes to the beach. Close to all the restaurants, cafes, bars, 7-11s in down town. My room was very clean and orderly. Had everything I needed. Staff were great, very friendly and accommodating. Will definitely stay here again when I’m back in the island. Highly recommended."

"Nerede kalacağımızı seçerken bu oteli ve yüksek puanını gördük ve kabul ettik (aptalca bir kararla, 5 gece). Tabii ki böyle bir fiyata çok fazla şey beklememelisiniz, fotoğraflarda her şey aşağı yukarı aynı, gerçek hayatta ise tam bir felaket. İlk gece, biri yatağın altına koşturdu, bir inek olduğunu varsayıyoruz. Sabah bakmak istedik, kimseyi bulamadık ama bar-resepsiyondaki adam elinden geleni yaptı ve odayı değiştirdi. Duş, banyo zeminindeki bir deliğe akıyordu, karıncalar. İkinci ve sonraki gecelerde oda biraz daha iyiydi ve duvarlar daha temizdi. Ama gece banyoda, karıncalara ek olarak bir de kurbağa vardı, onu zemindeki deliğe sifonu çekemedim. Bir kovaya koyup dışarı çıkardım. Daha fazla karınca vardı, eğer dünyada daha hafif hamamböcekleri varsa, o zaman 2'si ölmüştü. Ama deniz, güzelliği ve sıcaklığıyla odanın yaralarını saran bardan 50 metre uzakta. Resepsiyondaki arkadaşa büyük saygı duyuyorum. İsteklere ilgiyle yanıt verdi. Buraya ikinci kez gelir miyiz, hayır."

"Perfect location and very convenience for dinning. Hotel accepted early check in when we arrived there early. I think it’s a quite good hotel with reasonable price."

"The location are amazing and also the hotel have a lot of green area, room was so comfy even I choose the standard room however every morning some staff shouted so loudly it’s wake me up due to there is no sound proof of the hotel! If they inform staff to not shout in the morning that’s would be nice! Ah one more thing, hotel breakfast was good and yummy!"

"### Review of Samed Grandview Resort We recently stayed at Samed Grandview Resort and had a wonderful experience overall. The resort's location is stunning, with beautiful views and a relaxing atmosphere that made our stay enjoyable. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring all our needs were met. However, we felt that the beach entertainment could use some improvement. While the idea of music on the beach is great, the selection and execution were somewhat lacking, making it a bit boring at times. As professionals in the entertainment industry, we believe there are ways to enhance the experience for guests, such as incorporating a more diverse music selection or live performances. We truly enjoyed our time here and would love to see the entertainment aspect elevated for an even better guest experience. Thank you for considering our feedback! 🙏🏻"

"The hotel is self service with no reception or other staff, but very clean. The room is small but cozy and nicely decorated. Bathroom is the “wet” style with shower and toilet in the same space which is not something a westerner can get used to. Hotel is just a few steps from the beach but has no beach view. But the price is reasonable so I can only say I got what I paid for."

"Newly renovated rooms; comfortable & cleaned. Beautiful private peaceful beach. All the hotel staff that we had contacted did excellent jobs. Enjoyed live music & a fire show in the evening. We gave 200 THB to the fire show men. Frankly speaking, their fire show skills are much better than Hawaii. (Except, no hip dance) It would be nice if the other hotel guests would have given them some tips, too. Everything was good, except the music at the restaurant by the beach was a bit too loud. I will return to stay at this hotel again if I go to Samed next time."

"Room is nice, quite cheap look but it's the Samet style. Bathroom is united, so you shower next to the toilet. Miss Hong provides beach towels, so that's a plus. No need to buy them or wash your own. Lots of lizards create homely atmosphere (they were in common area, not in rooms). Coffee shop is closed, so can't have breakfast in the building. Water pressure is good. Noise from the street is loud and clear, windows provide no sound dampening. All in all I won't come back here. I don't know why do this."
