"We had a wonderful 2-night stay at The Ritz-Carlton Perth. From the moment we arrived after a red-eye flight, the service was thoughtful and warm. A special thank you to the hotel manager for the kind gesture of offering an early check-in—it made a world of difference for us. To our surprise and delight, we were also upgraded to a river view room. The room itself was spacious, modern, and beautifully designed—it truly felt like a home away from home. Every detail was immaculate, and the comfort was second to none. Service throughout our stay was impeccable. Staff were consistently attentive and professional without being overbearing. Breakfast was another highlight. The menu was delicious and changed the next day, which was a nice touch for guests staying more than one night. Couldn’t ask for more—thank you for making our stay so memorable. We’ll definitely be back."

"A distinctive hotel with a minimalist aesthetic, one that strives to have personalized service but perhaps overstretches what it can accomplish. Very spacious rooms, almost too spacious given the design features, unless one plans to entertain, and limitations in practical design—the one small table in my room was nearly three meters from a power outlet, making it a burden to keep a computer charged. I had an oddly unhelpful exchange with the concierge before arrival (as if I didn’t know how to use Google) and little subsequent support. On the pro side, the room was spotless and truly refreshed twice a day, and the breakfast was quite generous, the quality excellent. Indeed the restaurants were the real highlight—the beetroot risotto was wonderfully rich and flavorful, sweetness tempered by a generous addition of parmigiana. Yet overall, I think if I return to Perth I will try the Ritz Carleton."

"Day 1, after checking out directly from Mercure without staying. We booked Pan Pacific directly hoping for the best. We reached the hotel around 5-6PM thought that we can check in, but unfortunately not. After having our room we found that our blanket is full of blood stain. Day 2, someone opened our room door while we are changing. The concierge said due to upgrading of the system that’s why there is this issue!?? Day 3, new towels provided was all stained. When we request for new towels the concierge said the we should complain to the managers to ask for free breakfast. Come on Pan Pacific you can do better than this"

"Very big and comfortable room. Only thing is that the carpark is almost 500m away and if you don't want to walk, will need to pay $75 for valet parking. Otherwise, highly recommended."

"This hotel has been designed for conservstive business and family travellers. The pool, spa, jacuzzi is a once in a life time experience. The steam room is exciting. The hotel bar and restaurant is meant for those with blue bood connections ! Ensure you eat before the Michelin style restaurant ceases business at approx 9pm. The hotel bar is meant for those with an interest in business and politics and would not be a venue that would be welcoming for those without connections to business and or politics. The hotel gym will certainly bring you down to earth and keep you grounded on the lower level of the establishment. The rooms with the view of the Swan River is stunning, comforting and the most luxurious of all desk workstation, phone call and the television has a wide range of channels. A must stay before a saavy developer smashes the hotel to pieces and rebuild something there as it is real estate heaven - situated between the vied addresses of Terrace Road and Adelaide Terrace in East Perth ! A must stay for every traveller who wants to do serious corporate work, mingle or simply attempt to aggrandise with the crowd. A word of warning, strict dress code and a very sophisticated crowd ! Enjoy !"

"Location: what's hot- centrally located near the CBD & ”heart of town”. What's not- one of the furthest in terms of walking from Perth station. There are nearer hotels if you are coming from the Perth train station. General facilities: What's hot- contemporary Aussie art works line the walls of this building, inside & out, making it eclectic. What's not- unremarkable really. Standard features. Although reasonably new, if you look closer, much of the linen covered furniture (viz chairs) are stained and grubby close up. Swimming pool is small. Dining area is smallish. Rooms: What's hot- beds & pillows are very comfortable! Probably the best feature of the room. Shower head is a rain shower! Always a mark of a great bathroom. The TV screen is large. They provide an ironing board and an iron, which is nice. There's also a basic Expresso machine, which is appreciated. The room windows are floor to ceiling-great views and light! What's not- no toiletries unless requested (eco drive). No tissue paper unless requested. No room slippers provided. No water- so you either have to boil it in-room, or walk to the 1st floor to get it from the dining room, which sucks. Carpets are designed to hide the grime, but on closer inspection, the stains are there, giving you an icky feel. The wardrobe area is severely limited, so it feels cramped when you have 2 people trying to share the same area. Could be better. There is no dedicated luggage stand, so you'll have to do with laying it on the floor. Pity your back & knees. Service: What's hot- nothing really. All the politeness your expect from any hotel. Nothing remarkable. What's not- housekeeping service is inconsistent & poor. By any standards of a good hotel this is one big area that they need to improve upon. We stayed 7 nights & for the first half of our stay, we had to request for our rooms to be made up and on at least 2 days, there was no housekeeping at all. It almost felt like a third party service had been employed to take care of the rooms which was disconnected from the hotel's standards. An annoyance we could do without & a huge fail in my books. Breakfast: What's hot- sadly, nothing great. It was ok, again, unremarkable in its variety, quality & presentation. What's not: if I had to do it again, I'd find breakfast elsewhere & save the money. Conclusion: it was ok. Nothing to draw me back again unless I had no other choice. The fact that it's an Accor accredited hotel makes it even more disappointing. Between the poor housekeeping & the unremarkable breakfast, it's a pretty average hotel with limited repeatability if you had a choice."

"Great location for food and shopping. About 10 mins away from train station and Chinatown. The staff are very friendly and appreciate the greetings when we go out in the morning and back in the evening. Feels like home! Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the hotel."
