"Nice stay for 1 night in Chengde. Great service, free parking lots, friendly and helpful staff. Room, very clean, bright with a grand view to the river. Bathroom divided in tube/shower, toilet room and make-up space. Breakfast with a great choice of Chinese food. Just a few things related with international breakfast. The hotel is located not directly to many shops and restaurants. We took a taxi to the recommended restaurants and scenic places."

"We were warmly welcomed on checking in, and were pleasantly surprised to be given a complimentary upgrade, followed by a room with a waterfront view. The travel desk offered private English-speaking tours to various locations; we took the tour to the famed Mountain Resort 避暑山庄. Hospitality provided by the reception desk was graciously warm. All-in-all, I would strongly recommend this hotel to anyone staying over, even if it were just for 1 night."

"Affordable and value for money stay in the heart of Cheng De city. The check in process was very quick even for me who is a non-PRC citizen. The room was very clean and tidy but the bed could be more comfortable. All amenities such as a toothbrush, towel, shower cap and soap provided. The toilet is spacious and comes with a strong lamp heater. However the toilet might be a bit old.
The staff is friendly and even gave me a free upgrade to a window room. They greeted me when I went out of the hotel and when I went back."

"Love this place ! Stayed 3 separate times. Once last year and twice this year. Nicest hotel so far in china I’ve been to. Honestly can’t beat this hotel for the price. I went before the 7 day holiday and during it. Was way more expensive during it but still amazing

"New hotel, with spotless facilities and friendly staff. It's very close to the Chengde South Station, which is handy for high speed trains - though is a bus ride or taxi ride away from downtown Chengde and the Mountain Resort area. (Bus 29 takes you down there, but takes a while). Breakfast was good, and there are snacks in reception wheel you come back. The restaurant is only open in the morning - no bar/other facilities, but there are places to eat/shop nearby, though the area feels very new and developing. It was a great choice for me as I came in and out of Chengde South Station and I used the hotel as my base."

The hotel is located at the back lane of the commercial street 二仙居。we can get taxi easily in front of the hotel. We stayed there during low peak season, we had good service in the hotel. We loved the free supper served at 9:30pm."

Recommend this place to stay! The boss is very good and friendly, he told us how to explore to the fullest, and he told us to eat at opposite as his restaurant is currently under construction and as per him, it will be done by this October.
Will definitely back to this place again!
Recommend to stay at least one night to catch the sunset, moon, starry night and sunrise! And of course, it will be a good place for short getaway and maybe even a long stay! Really love this.
Thank you to the friendly boss, lady boss, driver who fetched us from Gubeikou train station and all the people I met🫶 I shall see yall soon

MMisafir KullanıcıI don't normally bother to write reviews, but this place is truly deserving of one. Our stay at Anaya was amazing to say the least. The place was so beautiful and serene, rivaling many of the luxury ryokans in Japan but with their own modern twist. We stayed in the queen room, and it’s fairly simple but more than adequate and comfortable. The in-room drinks and snacks were delicious, and they provided an additional special treat each day, which was an experience on its own. There wasn't a television, but we never felt that there was a need for one. It was a place where you can truly focus on unwinding and take things slow, but when needed, the Wi-Fi speed is sufficient for streaming on your own devices. The hotel is unique where you can just do everything within their compounds without needing to travel anywhere else. We really loved the Japanese bookstore, which is a must-visit, and spend some time admiring the garden next to it. They provide activities as well, so you will never feel like there is nothing to do. The spas are also highly recommended, which in fact warrants a trip all on its own even if you do not stay at the hotel. One of the spas is a re-purposed factory, and it's a truly unique experience which will appeal to architecture enthusiasts. Food was a little pricey, but you have a lot of options, and the ones we had were great. They even had their own provision shop for you to stock up on snacks and drinks. One of the main factors that truly elevated our experience was the exceptional service from Zhi Hui. She went above and beyond to share her personal contact in order to make sure we were well taken care of, answering our questions promptly and making arrangements for us. She even followed up with us after our departure to make sure we arrived at our next destination safely. The other staff around the hotel, including the restaurants, were also very friendly and helpful. There was even a sweet young lady selling what they harvested from the mountains as well as small snack stores, one of which was operated by a very friendly lady selling Japanese-style desserts. Our interactions with the people all felt really genuine and sincere. The experience wouldn't have been so wonderful if it weren't for our very pleasant experience with the people working in and around the hotel. They normally use a multi-seater buggy to ferry guests around, but when we were caught in the rain, they actually arranged a car to pick us up instead. Anaya Lanya Hotel is simply extraordinary, and we cannot recommend it enough.

The family was very welcoming and the room was spotlessly clean and was very toughtfully planned. The room looked like it was newly renovated. Itbwas a vrry cosy room. Breakfast was nice and warm and good portions. Can order dinner too and the homecooked food was delicious. . The owner also gave us a ride to Gubei for a very fair fee. I really like this place and would like to.come back

Service was good they told us about some tours they offer discounts on and a cool show about an emperor that has like 300 actors in it. Was cheaper than just buying it at the location
I booked this because my wife said it was more “central” it was not. Kind of in the middle of nowhere tho near a temple we did visit. The other hotels are near the river and you can walk and see some real nice bridges and lighted up streets.
The photos make the building look really cool. While the photos aren’t fake it’s way smaller than I thought it would be.
The room itself was kind of small. Like half the size of the phoenix hotel and is only 4 floors so not much of a view. Mine was of a parking lot.
Bathroom was nice the toilet was automatic and had a heated seat.
No breakfast. Bed wasn’t all that comfortable and not much of a view. Did have a shopping center next door and taxis stopped near it.
Kind of pricey but that was because of the 7 day holiday they had. I stayed at phoenix the week before and it was 200 rnb cheaper, nicer, more modern, twice the size, nicer shampoo/soap and had free breakfast.

MMisafir KullanıcıThe lobby was fancy and clean, and the front desk staff were friendly, even though they didn't speak any English Check-in as a foreign was hassle-free. The breakfast buffet was typical Chinese hotel breakfast food, just normal, but lacking in fresh fruit. It's close enough to the Mountain Scenic area to walk. I have two complaints, though. I had a windowless room, and it smelled awful inside, and the ventilation fan didn't help get rid of the smell. Also, the shower door wouldn't close all the way, so it left a huge puddle on the bathroom floor every time I took a shower. It was uncomfortable taking a shower while trying to hold the door shut as much as possible, too. The room was clean, when I checked in, though, and cleaned daily. I could hear some noise from guests in other rooms, like loud talking and toilets flushing. It would definitely be better if I had gotten a room with windows, to help get that smell out. It's easy to walk along the river from this hotel's location, though.

The parking attendance in front of the hotel wasn't really helpful when my driver dropped us off to check in to the hotel. What he cares was just faster unload and removed the car form that area. He offered no help at all. I was not sure if the parking attendance was employed by the Hilton hotel. If yes then the service was really not up par with the Hilton standard for customer service standard. We carried one large luggages and few smaller bags. We have to carry it over few flights of stairs to get in to the hotel entrance. The sliding path to get into the hotel entrance was not located in front of the hotel entrance but was hidden at the side that was obscured or partially blocked by the parking car at the front. The reception lady was very friendly though. We were given high floor and she scanned my WeChat to easy contact with the hotel later. The hotel room was very spacious and beautiful but the room was stuffy. Only one tiny small window was able to open a little bit to let the outside air go in. The afternoon temperature was as high as 25 degrees Celcius and rather HOT inside the room. We cannot adjust the aircon in the room as it is central setting! Called to the reception to ask why the room air con can't be adjusted and it seems not working but was told it is central setting. Well, you paid a lots to stay at the hotel without proper ventilation but to rely on the outside air to go in the tiny window. Despite the hotel facility was complete but we still cannot really enjoy and sleep comfortably as we felt HOT. The hotel separates the bathroom from toilet. The washing basin was outside of the bathroom. The breakfast was good with lots of variety. After checking out, I realised I might have left my traveller adaptor in the room. Immediately Isent a text to the hotel via WeChat but to my disappointment, it took two days for them to reply my message asking me to self contact the front desk counter to ask yourself?! What kind of service of that??? Asking hotel guest to add them on WeChat but still asking us to self call the front desk? Not all tourists will have local Sim card to make phone call. That is really a disappointment. They should have offered a better service by checking with the front desk counter and then get back to us via WeChat. This Hilton is definitely still a long way to go to achieve better rating. The hotel is closed to q night market that offers lots of street foods. There was one food stall that offer very palatable Chu Cheong fun. The experience was not pleasant for my one night stay.

GGary Ong Wei KiatAbsolutely loving this place! The vibes is totally awesome and a nice place to chill with lots of activities to do, though unfortunately we only had one night here as we only planned to hike Jin Shan Ling, but we will definitely be back for more next round!
Service and hospitality is top notch and absolutely grateful to have such a nice bunch of staff who were super friendly and warm. The hotel was near Jin Shan Ling (about 5 mins drive) and they even offered to drive and pick us to and fro the hotel and Jin Shan Ling. Within the hotel, they were concerned with us feeling cold so they ferried us to our room as our room was a few mins walk away, and fetched us from our room to the lobby when we wanted to hang out at their chill areas there which turned out to be really relaxing.
They served super sumptuous meals including a hot pot set which was great for winter and even offered us complimentary dishes as part of winter solstice.
One of the staff named Henry Zhang gave us a tour at their exhibition centre showing the various scenic areas in 四季山, 金山岭 and 北京城! We enjoyed the experience sharing from him and the explanation to the various attraction sites, appreciate the sweet gesture as he didn’t actually had to do that but he did so!
Room was absolutely great and spacious, extremely clean and comfortable with heaters inside the restrooms which was super nice. It was a good night rest for us.
Breakfast was their local dishes which was great too and super filling (buns, eggs, porridge, dough sticks, specialty cold dishes).
All in all, we had no complains from the time we checked in, super loved the experience and it definitely make us want to book another trip here again soon!

LLEEPKJOThe only hotel inside the jinshanling great wall. Next to the entrance of the ticket and cable car station. Only 1 Chinese restaurant that served breakfast, lunch and dinner. Prices of the food are reasonable and portions are huge. Room is as per the picture. We have 2 rooms, 1 facing car park and 1 mountain. No greatwall view as is hidden behind the mountain.
Service is excellent, they will provide pick up service from tourist centre and east gate entrance. We walked from the central to the east and contacted them via WeChat to pick us up from there. When we checked out, they told them we wanted to go a restaurant near the tourist centre, they did the extra mile to send us there instead of just alighting at the tourist centre.
Staff are extra friendly. I saw them looking for 4 guests who dine at the restaurant the night before who dropped at 100yuan. The next morning when we were there for breakfast, they checked whether did we sat at the table for dinner last night. They were still searching for the guests to return the money. Super honest!
However, cleanliness can be improved, the ceiling fan was super dusty. Behind the hotel, next to the greatwall entrance, there are some farmers restaurants and mingshu too.

MMisafir KullanıcıThe hostel is super trendy! Walking in, I had to make sure I was at the right place because the reception is a cosy bar! The staff did not speak English but we overcame the language barriers using WeChat. Everyone is very friendly and patient! Even the dog called 由由!
The cubicle beds are more luxurious than other hostels I stayed at. They are spacious and provide almost complete privacy. I also received slippers, so it was extra cosy!
The bathroom can be improved because without shower curtain even the toilet gets wet, but it is spacious enough to keep your clothes dry.
This hostel is suitable for longer stays as well, especially with friends because they have many activities and games at the hostel. Reception helps with the organisation of tours to the grasslands and many other trips as well (although these tours are fully in Chinese. So some Chinese language skills are recommended).
If I ever return to Chengde, then I will stay there again!
