"An older hotel building that feels like it’s plucked right out of 1995. Service from staff was great. You can tell this place was once top of the line with older wooden furniture and chandeliers. But still a cozy stay. Room feels like it can be a bit dingy and dusty if that bothers you, but we’re okay with that."

"Had a wonderful stay at the Mitsui Garden Hotel Premier. The location is perfect as its just a short walk from Nagoya Station via the underground link, which was a lifesaver with luggage. Our room was on a high floor with a breathtaking view of the city skyline. Modern, clean, and highly recommended!"

"I would say they tried their best to meet my requests (quiet, away from the lift, no corner room). I guess the definition of quiet is to each individual. I could hear water running next door from their toilet. My room was just beside the lift, but I did not hear any sound from the functioning doors though. My room was the second from one end, lol. But the whole experience was good. They have the necessary amenities, again to each individual. Their laundry I thought was cheap, I seldom do laundry overseas, but I decided to after I saw the price. 1kg and below is 400 yen, 3 kg and below was 500 yen. I washed 3 berms and 3 t-shirts that weighed around 1.5kg. The location was pretty good. Toyota rent a car is just beside if anyone plans to rent a car. Walk about 5mins you will reach Nagoya station that connect all those malls like Esca, midland etc. Food wise not many choices for me because I am a vegetarian. There are NATO, miso, rice, eggs, bread, and pancakes. That's about it for a vegetarian breakfast."

"I like the location — it’s only 5 minutes to Sakae Station and 10 minutes to the airport limousine bus terminal (Oasis 21). There are lots of restaurants, 24/7 convenience stores, supermarkets, and even tax-free shops where you can find almost everything you need. From NGO Airport, you can take the limousine bus and get off at the Nagoya Tokyu Hotel stop — it’s just a 1-minute walk to the hotel. However, when going back to the airport, you need to take the bus from Oasis 21. If you have a lot of luggage, I recommend walking on the street instead of using the subway route. The staff are generally good, but some are not very nice."

"We stayed at Nagoya JR Gate Tower Hotel for 2 nights and had a wonderful experience. The location is perfect—directly connected to Nagoya Station, with plenty of restaurants and shopping options all around, making it extremely convenient. The room was comfortable and well-maintained, providing a relaxing stay. Breakfast was great with a good variety of options to start the day. Overall, it was a very comfortable and enjoyable stay, and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Nagoya."

"Although the room is quite small, the room is very clean and well equipped. Just got to adjust abit and you will find space haha I love how they offer all the toiletries at the lobby! Super convenient location with food and convenience stores downstairs/nearby. Few mins walk from Nagoya stations with all the malls side by side. "It’s about a 17‑minute walk from the JR station, so it can be a bit tough if you’re carrying large luggage. The hotel has a stylish, modern look, and the breakfast is great. You can choose from four options, and they can adjust ingredients a bit for guests with allergies. There are quite a few visitors from Hong Kong and Taiwan, and most of the staff can speak Chinese. However, I wouldn’t recommend speaking Chinese to them; the service tends to be better when you use English, like the Western guests do."

"I recently enjoyed a 3-night stay at VIA INN NAGOYA EKIMAE TSUBAKICHO, and it was fantastic! Location - The hotel is perfectly situated right above a shopping mall and close to train stations. You can access everything you need just by taking the elevator down! - It offers easy travel to nearby attractions such as Gero's oden and Shirakawa-go, making it a great base for exploring the countryside. Amenities - The staff is incredibly helpful, especially when it comes to luggage storage before and after your stay. - The views from the hotel are spectacular, particularly from the higher floors. Overall Experience - I loved the convenience of being in the city center and, despite the hustle and bustle below, enjoying a peaceful stay in a beautiful hotel. - I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Nagoya! The stunning views, convenient location, and excellent service truly made my stay memorable. Highly recommended!"

Hotel staff was friendly and helpful in coordinating of luggage transfer to another hotel in another prefecture. Room was very clean and tidy, adequately sized for couples. Having a separate bathroom and toilet was a bonus. They also had their own bathhouse in the hotel. Pleasant experience staying with them in Nagoya.

AANDREAS NUR JAHJAComfort Inn Nagoya Sakae was a solid choice for our first hotel in Japan. The room was compact, as expected in Japan, but thoughtfully designed and well laid out, making it comfortable rather than cramped. The bed was comfortable with clean, fresh linens; however, there was only one pillow per person, and it was quite thin. The toilet bowl was also slightly smaller than what some travellers might be used to. The overall design felt modern and calming, and we appreciated the small round table with two stools, which was handy for a quick meal or planning the day. The work area was practical and well organised, with essentials such as a kettle, hairdryer, and a small fridge neatly tucked away. The bathroom, while compact, was spotless and had good water pressure. Overall, Comfort Inn Nagoya Sakae offered a clean, efficient, and comfortable stay—an excellent base for exploring Nagoya without unnecessary frills.

MMisafir KullanıcıWe stayed at the King Corner Suite and the space was wonderful. The bed and pillows were so comfortable we had to order pillows from Marriott after we returned home! On site parking is available for guests on a first come first serve basis and once you acquire a parking spot you will be guaranteed for the spot for the remaining duration of your stay. Will definitely stay at Courtyard by Marriott Nagoya next time when visiting Nagoya again

However, there are significant areas that need improvement. The room cleanliness was disappointing, with noticeable amounts of hair left on the toilet walls, which suggests inadequate cleaning protocols. Additionally, communication with staff proved to be quite difficult, creating frustration when trying to address concerns or ask for assistance.

AAmeliaKuruKaraPros: 1. Room and toilet is clean. Amenities is also provided but require to take from the lobby which I feel is good. 2. Located 5 mins walk from exit 3 of Metro Fushimi Station. There is also a bus stop along the way which can brings you to Sakae area and other spots. Otherwise, walking to Sakae area is doable as well. Additionally, along the way to hotel, will spot the scenic spot of Science Museum. 3. I had opted to walked to Osu Shotengai Street from hotel. As is autumn, the route along the way was great as will pass by a park with great scenery and people. 4. Lots of restaurants/eateries, convenience mart and drug store nearby. 5. Breakfast was provided and not bad for my taste even though almost the same everyday. There is a tea/coffee/water section where is provided for free. 6. Soundproof was actually good to my surprise. Cons: 1. Room is quite small. I had brought 2 medium and 1 small luggage but only manage to open half of the 2 medium luggages. Barely able to walk and nearly trip on the luggage. 2. The hotel lobby is located at level 2 and require to take the lift. Believe was due to Japan public holiday or is a holiday season, the hotel was quite packed during my stay. At night when back to hotel, there was long queue to take the lift despite having 2 lifts. 3. Same goes for breakfast area, if you are eating after 8am onwards, too pack and the seating place are too limited. 4. Nothing much on the view as I had gotten a room with no views and overseeing opposite rooms only. Overall, despite the small room size and others, actually I find this hotel to be nice to stay at. I definitely recommend to stay at this hotel despite there are only few minor cons.

Jjhleite2The hotel is located in a really nice place, close to the Nagoya station and bus terminal, and also close to several large shopping malls and areas full of bars and restaurants. Check-in was quite straightforward, with guests being given an access card for their locker and elevator. The hotel's agents have a very decent English for Japanese standards. The two elevators are separated, with one exclusive for male guests to reach their exclusive floors and another one for female guests and their exclusive floors. The access card also locks and unlocks their locker, which is tall but also a bit narrow, but wasn't too much of an issue to store by backpack, bag and shoes. Guests are given sleepwear, slippers and towels, and the shared bathrooms are fully furnished with amenities. Common areas include the lounge in the highest floor and the café in the ground floor, well-decorated and quite coherent with the hotel's famous minimalistic and futuristic design language. The sleeping room has its signature look and offered decent space, even though not the largest capsule of its kind. There is one power outlet, a rotating light switch that allows the user to choose the light intensity, and two small compartments to hold glasses, phones or whatever. The pillow and blanket weren't my favourites but it's up to each person to decide. Like all capsule hotels, ventilation might be a problem so a fan or an AC outlet would be nice to have, but it's not a problem exclusive to 9h. In the end, it wasn't the best bed I've slept but I enjoyed the overall experience. The crew was nice, the hotel was organized and clean, the location was near everything I could need, and the price was also nice. I recommend this location for those who don't want to spend much in lodging and plan to spend most of the day outside and just want a place to rest for the night.

Near shopping area about 500m I stayed one night before flying back tomorrow but breakfast start at 7.00, which I can not catch the flight on time if we had breakfast at hotel.
