the location is really bad to travel out in the morning bec of very very bad traffic jam ---need to offset time leabing by 7am---and have to get back to hotel before 5pm---else simply from any where coming back or going out MINI traffic jam is 2 hrs arrive fm T1 at 6.15pm -car waiting n get into the car to the hotel when arrive the hotel 8.10pm---2 hrs in the bad traffic so this hotel location really very bad traffic condition Bkft is always very crowded -when u order any cook food they have to give u a number plate and wait for them to bring to u...but what happen is always shortage of helper to do this job ---so u can keep waiting

Overall, I had a wonderful stay and truly enjoyed the accommodation itself. The atmosphere was lovely and the staff were great. More significantly, the portion sizes were noticeably small. It reached a point where I, and I noticed other guests too, felt we had to be considerate and take less, just to ensure there was enough for everyone to get a bite. That's a feeling one hopes not to have while on vacation. My simple recommendation would be to provide more reasonable portions. It's tucked away inside San Antonio Village, which is a quiet and secure gated community, giving you peace of mind in a busy city. Yet, you're only a short, manageable walk away from major hubs like SM Megamall, Capitol Commons, and Shangri-La Plaza. If you rely on public transport, the proximity to the Shaw Boulevard MRT station is a huge plus. It’s an ideal base for shopping, working, or accessing neighboring Ortigas Center. The Staff deserves special mention. From the security guards to the front desk, everyone is genuinely friendly, accommodating, and quick to address requests. Location: superb Cleanliness: great Value for money: great savings Service: almost perfect Food: bland (order calamares) Amenities: so so (solely for business travel not for leisure) Room: spacious, clean, smelled okay, aircon and TV was working fine, mini bar ref cover was loose and cannot be closed properly. Pillows, bed cover and Bed Sheets was superb and had a good night sleep. The room was not as advertised before booking. It clearly indicated that the business queen room offers wired internet access, however upon checking the room we did not find any. The front desk advice that all rooms does not have wired internet access and it does not work. The sole purpose of my booking was due to business purposes and the wired internet connection was the top priority. Though the wireless internet worked properly from 2am to 6am, intermittent connection is experienced after those hours. (Was using laptop 💻). After 3 days we decided to add another night then requested to have the room cleaned. We called the front desk attention multiple times and went outside to give the cleaners time but upon our return the room was still not cleaned so we needed to call the front desk attention again twice before someone came up to clean.

I vouch for this hotel! I made a mistake with our check-in date, but the staff were so kind and let us modify it easily. We stayed to celebrate my mommy’s and cousin’s birthdays and booked two 3-bedroom suites. The rooms were clean, spacious, and perfect for family bonding. I have stayed in the Malayan Plaza many times before and the experiences WERE great, but in my recent stay, there are changes already. Maybe because the bldg was new before when I stayed. Bad smell as you walk along the alley of 10th floor where my room at. Also bad smell is diffusing in the basement parking. Food is no longer great and many this time. One thing hasn’t changed, the accommodating staff.

Although we had a little bit of issue with the check-in process (1. the admin couldn’t initially find our reservation; 2. we were told to present vaccination IDs though it wasn’t stated on the booking info that it’s a requirement. I had mine but my partner didn’t have hers.), Sir Kevin (host) was kind enough to thoroughly assist us throughout our stay. The unit had decent kitchenware which we used since we stayed for 2 nights. It just seemed that the place wasn’t completely cleaned before our stay as there were still some uncollected trash inside the bin, leftover butter in the fridge (probably from the previous guest). We also noticed that the linen and duvet had some stains. I just hope those were old stains and not from the previous guest because that would be really off. Other than that, the location was spot on. For the price we paid, it was totally a steal. I just hope the overall cleanliness of the unit would be improved.
