"This was our 1st visit to the Neptuno. The apartment was clean and basic. There are no lifts so not recommended for those with mobility issues if on the 1st or 2nd floors. Pool area was really clean and great that there are no sunbed and can get them no matter the time. Reception staff were always very friendly and happy to help. Only downside at the ,omens is the noise from the work going on behind it at the big development."

"Just back from our slice of Canarian heaven. As always it’s immaculate, carefully maintained and the weather was the icing on the cake. Gill is an absolute gold star. One thing I think would be a great option is to order breakfast from an app, as the staff are so busy and this would be easier for them? I stayed in suite 25 - it was unbelievable. I honestly felt overwhelmed with what to do at first. Loved the hammocks, lying back listening to the waves at night was like a sensory experience!"

"We enjoyed our week all inclusive at this hotel. It is near enough exactly what you’d expect for a 4* hotel. We emailed weeks before to explain our flight was going to be in late, there was food in our room upon arrival and I’d requested a double bed which we were provided :) The rooms were cleaned every day, fresh towels when requested thank you. Food was as you’d expect for a buffet, some things were really great (our faves were the prawns! The grill every evening, breakfast is fab, and the Paella!) other aspects can feel a bit samey and we were not a fan of the Italian night but it was a good standard. Evening entertainment was good but finished early in our opinion, it is a quiet hotel with an older crowd and we came to relax so we didn’t mind so we played monopoly deal or pool until midnight. Our only down side was the quality of the cocktails were not great, I’ve been to other all inclusive where the standard has been a bit nicer but we stuck to spirits and mixers or Aperol spritz. There are areas that also need a refresh, spots round the pool and the showers by the gym are a bit grim if you have a late flight ! Staff were all lovely in our opinion. Overall we enjoyed it :)"

The staff was friendly. The hotel is very good value for money. When I return again in 2 months, I will try to return, although prices vary greatly depending on the time of year."

"A quite exceptional boutique hotel. We wanted to get away from beach resorts, to explore the countryside of Lanzarote, the quiet beaches and the cultural experience / Manrique etc etc. We chose the very best location and hotel for this. The breakfast was tremendous, served to your table and a very healthy variety of options. Dinner - we decided we'd eat on 1 night of our 7 night stay. However, the dinner was so tremendous, we ate there on 3 nights! We stayed in room 6 (upper floor). Very spacious, bedroom, lounge and bathroom with a front balcony and a rear balcony overlooking the courtyard. All in all a great escape from the early onset of winter in Scotland. Sonsoles, Nicholas and all the team went out of their way to be helpful, which made the stay very special. Thankyou."

"Great hotel, fabulous location and lovely views! The hotel is kept very clean, the rooms are well maintained and have all you need! We found the beds very comfortable, lots of storage space, walk in showers, we had a double shower ! The reception staff led by Ruth are all very welcoming, and happy to help in any way ! Great team ! Pool area is immaculately clean and pool well maintained, lots of sun beds and lovely big beds to laze away the day ! Great bars within 2 mins away, supermarkets and shops 4 mins away for all your needs! This was our 2nd visit to Neptuno suites, enjoyed each visit very much ! We would definitely recommend a visit to the neptuno for those looking for a quiet , enjoyable break away! Give Ruth an email or phone call and get any special requests , she is fabulous!!"

"As I write this review I’m looking out at the rain and remembering our amazing week at Lani’s This is our 5th visit and honestly I cannot fault anything with this stunning hotel. The staff are just so friendly, polite and nothing is too much trouble. The location is probably the best on the strip. The actual hotel is beautifully decorated and maintained impeccably. Breakfast is delicious, plentiful and always served with a smile. What really sets this hotel apart in my opinion is the ambience - it’s the most relaxing place. The minute you step inside the premises it’s just so peaceful and calm. Truly our favourite place to stay. Thank you all at Lani’s for a very enjoyable week "

"Its quite firmly a 4* hotel. Everything is fairly good, but wont blow you away. The buffet food is ok; the hotel room is suitable; the pool area isn't too bad (although the largest area of the pool is salt water); the snack bar need to be addressed, as the food quality is pretty bad; the drinks are pretty good and the entertainment is average. You wont have a bad time unless youre a real fusspot, but then you should be booking a 5*, so you actually have something to sink your teeth in to moan about. I'd say that this place is worth no more than £700 - £1000 per adult for a 7 nights all-inclusive stay."

"What a fantastic place this really is if you want a peaceful relaxing holiday. It is the first time we have self catered in Lanzarote but we will certainly be returning to here. Playa Blanca is such a nice place and we enjoyed it even more this time as Palmeras is away from the busier areas. The apartment was better than we thought it was going to be and had a fantastic sea view. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and the whole complex is not built up. The pool area is lovely and sunbeds are always available no matter what time you go down to it. The staff are all really friendly including the cleaners. There is a small shop on the site which is open 11-6 for any essential items. This shop is handy as it is the only supermarket in the vicinity which you have to bear in mind when staying here. The arena bar is fantastic and the food served here is very good indeed. The beach is a 2 minute walk away and there are a few restaurants over the road as well as a brilliant cocktail bar if you want to eat or drink out. There is a bus stop behind the complex if you do not fancy the scenic walk into Playa Blanca centre which runs roughly every half an hour. A taxi back from here will only cost up to 4 euro which worked out cheaper for a family of four. We will definitely return to Palmeras Garden as we all loved it. I couldn’t really fault anything and we all had a fabulous time."
